[Q] My arc S got freezed at booting - General Questions and Answers

Hello!
Im a bit scared. I just put a new rom to my phone (se xperia arc s), but as i turn it on, it shows the sony ericcson title and stucks here. I even can not power off it by the power button. The only way to turn it off is getting the battery out of the phone. I only can turn power on if i don't wait for the boot animation, otherwise the phone dont even realize i pushed the power button just get freezed.
I had 2.3 stock software(build...0.62), then i downgraded it to build...0.42. After that, i rooted it then i installed cwm 5. But after installing this rom,"[ROM][ARC/S][ICS] Fire_Bird ICS ROM v3.0 [Battery Friendly][HD-Game support] - New" I had to face the problem i described above. Can you give me some clue what can i do now? I think i followed the guides correctly

[Resolved] [Q] Xperia V (lt25i) Stock with the installed boot animation ...

Hi,
Hope this it the correct place to ask this question, if not i can someone please give me a hint where to post.
Have an issue with my Xperia V / lt25i after installing a boot animation with ROM Toolbax Pro, think it was the Xperia Play animation, or one with an animation in the start and ends with a Sony Ericson logo.
When i turn on the phone, the animation runs for a few seconds, then the geen/white Sony E logo appears, and after some seconds the screen dims the light and then it goes black, like when the screen turns of before the phone locks normaly.
Pressing the on/off / lock button turns the screen back on again, and the logo is shown, and after some seconds it goes black again.
Flashed the LT25i_9.1.A.1.140_1268-6904.ftf file downloaded from another thread on this site.
The phone is flashed with Flashtool (v 0.9.10.1 for Windows) and then rooted with Bin4ry (v 26) and worked fine before installing the boot animation.
Have disabled USB Debugging after i rooted the phone, so no luck getting access to it so far.
Is there a way to bypass the boot animation?
Or a way to reset the phone, so the original boot animation will be re-installed and getting access to the phone?
Did try the guide on this site phonetipsandtricks.com to perform factory reset and hard reset, but no luck, the phone just starts up with the same animation and ends with the logo, and then the screen goes black.
Any suggestions ?
Kind regards,
Alex
Maybe there is a way to re-flash ...
Hi ...
Started pressing the screen to see weather or not the boot animation actually just stopped, or it maybe just blocked the screen from the actual startupscreen with the pattern to unlock.
Managed to unlock the phone, still with the SonyE logo on the screen and otherwise a black screen, and pressed the voloume up/down and heard the beep when pressing, getting louder or weaker, so managed to get into the phone in "the blind" sort of say.
Will try to get into the USB Debugging setting from what i remember of the structure of the menu, if i can just get that one enabled, then maybe it will be possible to use Flashtool and re-flash.
Time for a little experiment with fingers on the display.
Kind regards,
Alex
Phone re-flashed and rooted again.
Hi.
Just an update ...
Managed to find the USB Debugging setting and activate it on the black screen and have now re-flashed and rooted the phone and looks like it's working just fine now.

[Q] Did I brick my phone?

Hi guys,
I was deactivating apps on my Xperia L (C2105) with Titanium Backup and I think I bricked my phone.
I was deactivating all those apps starting with Xperia and having something to do with that social media bull**** I don't use anyway. So I decided to deactivate them. I might have deactivated Xperia Home accidentally too. After I closed Titanium Backup the screen went dark, only the upper "taskbar" showed up and the Walkman app was running. I shut my phone down and tried to turn it on again. But that's where it gets stuck. I see the Sony logo, then Xperia logo and then that coloured animation and that's it. It gets stuck from this point on.
I tried all button combinations like Volume + and Power or Volume - and Power but it didn't work. When I press Volume + AND - and Power nothing happens. But after this even just pressing the Power button won't work. I have to take out the battery and then Power button works again.
Is there any way I can recover my phone without flashing it?
If not, can you suggest a good step by step tutorial on how to unbrick my phone?

Damn it. That's what I feared. Thanks for your quick reply.
Or you may push a launcher to your /system/app through adb...
This happened to me many times...

Thanks for the tip but I've already flashed my phone with fw version .26. Now it runs like it used to. Battery life is great, I can go 3 days without recharging. And it runs way more smoothly and without bugs. I don't know what Sony changed in .14 and .17 but it's gotten way worse.

Bricked???

Hello, I have used threads here 6months ago to install stock firmware + root. I decided to flash this rom today http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/general/6-0-1-23-5-0-570-prerooted-recovery-t3362790
After rebooting all i get is the Sony logo, and nothing. Have to press all 3 buttons (power, volUP,volDOWN) for it to turn off...
Battery screen wont show when plugged into power/usb
Have tried Flashtool and the Sony Companion, they dont work. All i get is Sony logo after flashing/repairing.
Update: Flashed stock successful
