[STOCK FILES] 4.1.1 JRO03S Build - system + kernel - Nexus 7 Android Development

This is NOT a ROM!
This is for development purposes only.
These are the system files of the latest Nexus 7 4.1.1 build JRO03S which came with my C9O I got yesterday.
Since I have been asked to upload those files I guess it's a good idea to make them available for all developers.
The files have been pulled straight from root/system, kernel as a separate *.img.
DOWNLOAD
If the files aren't reachable please send me a PM.
If the files are already available elsewhere please delete this thread.

Is this just a variant of 4.1.1?

Build date?

Aug 21 23:30:33 UTC 2012
ro.build.version.incremental=444012
just read from my Nexus 7 C90

Can someone with the JRO03S installed from the factory (NOT someone who just flashed this) please verify that the JRO03S comes from the factory with bootloader 3.34 installed like JRO03D? If you need help getting the bootloader version, just reboot into the bootloader and it'll be right there on your screen.
Thanks!

Kernel : Not working with Paranoid Android v2.15

Doesn't work on my side, the system wont boot. I dont know what is wrong with this but i'm stuck on the boot animation.
Incompatibility with C7O ? or bad backup?

Does anyone know if you flash this does it clear the entire memory or just the os partition. I have flashed many Roms before on other android devices but all those had an SD card and with the unlocking process I know the entire data was erased.

Ah OK I'll have a look into it tonight for you, its probably the updater script if you want you can try use the META folder from another ROM (nexus 7 ROM) and see if it flashes until I fix it later

Yup looks like I'll be waiting because I have absolutely no idea what you just said

It appears it not just your downloads I can't seem to flash any Roms. I tried to flash other ROM and it keeps giving me same error. It almost seems like it can find the zip files on SD card to flash and then it goes to flash and can no longer find the file. Anyone have any insight into this?
first off seems D/L is not working but I dint think there were so many issues with ROM. We definetly need a solid Stock ROM with ROOT (4.1.1), Hope its works when I flash
is this completely stock? no tablet UI dpi build.prop changes? (that's what i'm after)

[BOOTLOADER] (v4.23) (Android 4.3 JWR66V) N7 Wi-Fi - grouper

Hi guys, here it is download link of Nexus 7 WI-FI (grouper) bootloader v4.23 (stock one shipped with just released android 4.3 JWR66V)
It's not flashable via custom recovery, though.
Flashable version soon (if anyone is faster than me, PM me and I'll post it here :good
for short, fastboot command for flashing:
in fastboot mode, from computer terminal or prompt:
fastboot flash bootloader NAME_OF_THE_FILE.img
complete flashing guide (from adb setup to the end here - thanks to azoller1)
(Download)
MD5 DF53028033C9ECCF4FE5BA7BC198CE24
SHA-1 7B28B45A035EFB9AAD9E61AD09B1906EB5508721
(I don't take any responsibility about procedure, etc. You know the story, bootloader is from Google's factory image)
Thanks, is working well. For People who asks: You can still use 4.2.2- Roms with this Bootloader!
Is there a need this, or some advantage to it?

I tried to flash back to stock 4.3 earlier and it wouldn't let me because my bootloader was still on 4.18
Also, note the fact that the Google factory images website has the JWR66Y stock image instead of the JWR66V that is found here. For me when I was trying to flash the new bootloader earlier today, the version from the JWR66Y version gave me a 'Signature mismatch' error while the version found here did not.

[Q] Unable to install CM10.1

Hey guys, I'm having a problem with my tablet. When I try to install CM10.1 on my TF300T now, it won't boot. I've had it installed in the past, but for some reason it doesn't want to work now. Has there been some sort of change that would cause this? I can install CM10 on it, which I would have no problem using, but for some reason the AOSP Keyboard crashes every time I tap a text box, so I have no way of getting anything done. Any insight you could provide would be much appreciated.

check my post in the thread i linked (post 12 there ) - even if it is for a total softbrick - you can follow those steps to flash the stockrom and then install cm10.1 or 10.2
i did it and alot of others did it too so it should work for you as well. it basically wipes your whole device so fastboot will work to push the blob. boot one time into stock and then install cwm/twrp and install from there cm from extsdcard

I get "Update Error (status 0)" when flashing the deodexed version with CWM. I also tried with TWRP recovery, but that fails, too. I verified that md5 checksum matches.
I'm stumped.
hi, if i'm on aosp rom it's better to take the odex or deodexed release ? Thx for your answers.
I get the same error. Thought it was me at first. I tried both deodexed, and odexed with TWRP. Both failed.

I got the same error; Install failed.
I 'm on 4.3 stock with bootloader 4.23 and TWRP 2.6
I am also unable to install the deodexed version. I get a error executing updater binary in zip in both TWRP and CWM. I am assuming its a problem in the updater binary or script file.
odex also fails both TWRP and CWM

I don't have a nexus 7 3g. So no I can't test it. People keep on msging me to release it so I did. I asked people to test it, but everybody wants it and nobody wants to test it. So yes the binaries have changed and I can replace them as see which one works, but I need someone who can test it for me. If you want to be helpful then you can volunteer to help test it, if now stop criticizing. Criticizers are dime a dozen. I am not getting paid for this neither do I owe it to anyone to release it. I do it because people ask and I love xda.
