Anyone else hate the new music player in the ICS upgrade?
It's not half as easy to use as the old version...just sucks.
Problem is, I DO like being able to control it from the lock screen... Is there a way to downgrade to the old music player but still keep the ICS ?
Any other music players that can be controlled from the lock?
Reinstall

I have a US wifi xoom rooted with HC3.1, and I also have an HTC hd2 running android. My question is when i dock my zoom and want to watch movies or play music through my TV or stereo is there an app I can install that will allow me to control playback through my hd2? Fuse it would be nice to not have to get up to control everything. Anyone heard of an app like this or know of one being developed?

So when you hit play from a bluetooth device it seems to be pure luck as to which player will start on android.
Is there anyway to alter this behaviour? The phone in question isn't rooted, and won't be. Since this is the case I can only remove the updates to the Music player, but it's still there and will randomly take priority over winamp.
I've always experienced this no matter what media players I'm using. Sometimes it will just start playing on the regular app instead of the app i want

Regards,
I am using a ported rom from HTC desire c to my HTC Explorer. But when i am playing Music Player, music lags sometimes when i lock and unlock the device, when switching mobile network or using gps and using other apps. Please help me to get rid of this. What are the possible solutions to improve glitches in music?
Is there a known way of making the music player on the lock screen show the artist title instead of the album name? I don't really care about album names and I don't know of any other players that show up on the lock screen.

So, basically I recently modded my Samsung Captivate using the CyanogenMod and ever since then I've been wanting the stock TouchWiz music player back that came originally on the Captivate. I have the file and obviously my phone's rooted, but every time I try to install it, the apk install just fails with no explanation why. What can I do to get the stock TouchWiz music player to install on my CyanogenMod phone? Just, as a side note, I'm not all that experienced when it comes to all this stuff, so explain in excruciating detail, please.

CM is not a touchwhiz rom , that's why the install fails.

You can try too install samsung galaxy s4 mp3 player apk
Not going to work, the S4 runs touchwhiz. His best bet is to just try some of the many music players out there. There's a thread around about music players. Fyi I use power amp, and it seems like it's a popular choice around here around here also.

try another player.u can't get stock featurer on cm.
The issue is that I use iTunes and none of the music players read my album arts correctly whereas the stock Captivate player read most of them alright... I have yet to try DoubleTwist properly.
