So basically, radio version, build number or baseband version have nothing to do with which Stock ROM we use? Are the different stock ROMs only for different languages?
Yes, the way jaggy made them there is no need to search for your radio version, yes difference is in languages.
You should search for your radio version if you wan't to use RUU
where do i find radio version??

But I think that stock ROM will be rooted. To UNroot simply delete superuser in system/app and "su" in both bin and xbin directories using any root explorer. Remember to mount system as writable.
Now I think you'll be on stock UNrooted ROM with "custom recovery".
Don't know how to get rid of custom recovery and get back to stock one?
Let me know if someone know about it.

Same thing happened to my phone. I tried flashing a custom ROM but it didn't work. I took it to the service center and they re-installed the software. It happened while doing something related to root. Has the device been rooted? Also, is the device the S - 7500 or 7500L/W. Because I have the international S - 7500 version and I installed the file for the L version then this problem occured. So I suggest you take it to the official Samsung service center. But beware, if the device is rooted that means the warranty has been voided and you will most probably have to pay.

To flash a custom ROM :
1. CWM recovery
2. Apply update from SD card
3. Locate the zip file
4. Select the zip
5. Allow it to flash
6. After flashing is complete reboot the device.
I suggest trying the Atomblast ROM which I am currently using

so its means this phone is damage now ??
plz confirm

hello guys , last night i tried rooting my phone and then installing a custom rom. i unlocked the bootloader , flashed custom recovery , and then Perm-rooted it. everything went well. then i tried to install custom rom and the dialog windows on my computer said ``its finished , enjoy trickdroid.``
so i rebooted the device and after that problems started. i couldnt get past htc welcome screen , the one with the normal eroor message with red letters (this system is for development purposes only..). i tried a few times again , but still nothing. so i went on internet to see how to recover from this , and i did everything by the book. i wiped delvik cache , normal cache and factory reset. even after that problem persisted. so i wiped system (ROM) and now i am left without system on my phone. i still cant get past that welcome screen with error message , and only thing i can do is boot into bootloader and recovery. PLS HELP , what do i need to do. this was my first rooting and i bricked it... THX
Go in recovery. Wipe cache and dalvic. Wipe system. Wipe factory reset. Install zip from sd card ( rom)
Reboot into bootloader. Flash the boot.img from the rom with fastboot. And then reboot and enjoy.
Maybe you can check of you have s3 or s4 processor before you flash anything. Greetz

Sure just flash the old firmware

bootloader clear storage
fastboot flash your new custom recovery
Then load whatever rom you want and install it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
or another way, I did, just to see if I could go back if I wanted to
flashed stock recovery
factory reset from bootloader... waited for it to do it's thing.... when it rebooted to phone I held down the power button to reset it.. held down volume down to get back into bootloader.
made sure it was in fastboot usb mode
ran RUU
But that was kind of overkill.

That only happens when you use the ****** (fastboot command that will not be named, because someone will use it and have a paperweight)

By doing the 1st or the 2nd method, then I'll have to re-unlock via HTC Dev ?
I ask that because I want to restore with RUU and I see everywhere that I have to relock the bootloader before doing this.

You don't have to relock bootloader to run RUU on s-off device.
Just reboot to fastboot, make sure your pc can see your phone and execute ruu*.exe

Yes, that is the important bit, clear storage in bootloader when you have the STOCK recovery.
The stock recovery fixes the issues. (from what I have read on our forums)

Sure, it's not going to get rid of Soff or anything.
That only happens when you use the ****** (fastboot command that will not be named, because someone will use it and have a paperweight)

Why don't you just flash a different recovery and use that instead of cwm?

When you fastboot flash a different recovery, it will delete the cwm recovery and overwrite the whole recovery partition.

OK, now it worked! BUT (yep, there are more problems here) with Cyanogenmod my camera and Wi-Fi dont want to work! And if I try to restore my stock rom, the boot is infinite! I've tried doing WIPE (Factory Reset) but the problem still persist! D: :crying:

What are your exact steps? Which cyanogenmod ROM are you flashing? Which recovery did you use? You'll have to use twrp 2.5 I think to restore stock ROM.

The Cyanogemod file is called cm-10.2.1-tf300t.zip (I guess thats Cyanogenmod 10.2), I used the backup that I've made before installing CM... The recovery is TWRP and its version is v2.6.0.0
What is wrong? D:
Thats what I have done:
Unlock bootloader with Asus program
Root
Installed CWM recovery and changed it to TWRP
Backup
Flashed Cyanogenmod, it boots fine but WiFi and camera doesnt work
Restore the stock ROM, but it keeps bootlooping! Even doing WIPE, the problem persist
UPDATE: Is this ROM good for my tablet? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2425390

Thank you so much! YOU ARE MY HERO
No problem man.
Download http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407579270. This is the twrp file. fastboot flash that.
Next, download https://s.basketbuild.com/filedl/de...ip&dluid=343be2b9-36d2-4262-8978-633fbd9b8565. This is the latest pacman ROM. Its pretty stable for me. If you would like a custom kernel, let me know.
You will also need gapps. Find and download a gapps package from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942.
Put both gapps and pacman ROM on your tablet or an sdcard to put in your tablet. Perform a wipe in your new twrp recovery and then install ROM and then install gapps(don't reboot between installs). Should be good to go after that.

Sorry I was out at the lake. I think in the fastboot command you just replace .blob with .img
