Note 10.1 and Samsung soundbar - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone have a note 10.1 and a Samsung tv soundbar with bluetooth/wireless. Im thinking about buying a soundbar but was wondering if you could stream from the note to the soundbar, also what is the sound quality like?

i was thinking of buying the HW-E551 46". it has bluetooth where the some dont, and a review on the samsung site says streaming via bluetooth works for phones/tablets unsure of the sound quality though!

ok thats cool then, cheers. I have the Samsung d8000 46" and the note works well with, but now my only draw back is the sound quality from both devices. So I thought are these bluetooth sound bars up to scratch

That's a great question! I have a Bluetooth samsung soundbar at home, but I won't be home for a week and a half to check it out. The HDMI sound is excellent given the soundbar's size. But I have not tried it with Bluetooth yet. I don't know the model number off hand, it would be great if it had apt-x, but I doubt it does.

how to know if headphone compaible?

hi
I bought a headphone for my old phone (motorola atrix) which works quite well, now I got a nexus 4 and Galaxy s4, and I plug the headphone in to either phone, I can see the headphone is detected, but the sound is extremely low (max volume can barely heard soud). then I tried a iPod headphone and worked normally. I compare the plug, and they are exactly the same.
why is happening that? if I want to buy new headphone, how can I know if it's compatible?
I'm assuming you have high end headphones. If so then you'll need a portable dac/amp to make them sound good on the S4 or Nexus 4. The atrix has a Wolfson dac, which is better than Qualcomm's, and is more than likely why they sound good paired with the Atrix. The only Galaxy S4 variant with the Wolfson audio chip is the I9500.

Very bad Bluetooth Voice quality?

I'm really happy with my new Nexus 5.
What i figured out - compared to my old Galaxy S4 - the Bluetooth Voice quality is really crappy.
I use BT only in my car, but the sound is horrible. Either for my side and also for opponent side.
Am I the only one with that issue?
Any idea how i could fix/improve it ?
What brand/model receiver are you using? I haven't had any complaints from people when talking through my JVC receiver and people sound good to me.
Fiscon Bluetooth Module fully integrated in my 2009 Audi A4. (basically it is the original Audi BT module)
With my Galaxy S4, voice quality is briliant. Not so with the Nexus 5.

[Q] GNote 3 vs Infuse 4G audio quality

Hello xda, here with another question. Well a few actually. It has been forever since I had my Samsung infuse 4g. I had ICS on it with voodoo audio and it was amazing. My question to everyone is this. Am I better off with the note 3 as a media device? I am thinking about getting an old infuse just to use it to listen to music. The n3 doesn't make me all giddy when I hear its audio like the infuse did. I listen to lossless audio, mainly flac. The audio on the infuse was amazing on low end earbuds, now I have a great pair of $400 headphones. I'm curious now. I'll just get to my main points:
Which phone has better SQ?
Can the Infuse 4G use a 64gb card (don't remember if it was xdhc capable or not)?
How stable is KitKat on the infuse?
Are there voodoo drivers for the Wolfson chip stable/usable at all while on KitKat?
I really want to grab one of these again just for media, but don't want to be out $100 for no reason. Does anyone have both of these devices so they can compare side by side? Also. I have the snapdragon variant n3.
TIA all
Anyone?

Samsung Note One music Sound vs ?

Hi there My question is about the music sound quality you get and why?
I have a Samsung Note One just to listen to Spotify because I get the best sound from my Sennheiser Momentum inears.
I need to because my daily phone the Samsung J7 2016 is not even close producing the sound I get from my Note One.
My question(s) is how is this possible with the years in-between those devices have?
Shouldn't it be the same or better.
What makes the sound come off better between some devices.
I would my next phone have the same sound quality or better(???) like my Samsung Note One, how do can I see this in the specs or know this before I buy it?
A phone that old keeps surprising me.
i enjoy it everyday!
Could be great if someone could make jukebox rom for this phone so it only runs and updates players like Spotify.
I hope to get some answers to my questions, I'm realy confused why the sound quality difference.

USB-C Audio and HiFi music (audiophile question)

I was always a huge proponent of LG's DACs. The ESS Sabre DAC gives manufacturers a lot of range when it comes to distinct sound signatures. I was always big on the Galaxy Notes up until my 7 was damn near ripped from my hands. lol. I remember the last time Samsung really focused on sound quality was (I believe) the Note 4 when they used a tuned Wolfson DAC.
With that said, USB-C audio is pretty new to me and I'm learning as I go. I bought two dongle DACs for my two cars. Sonata's HIDIZS for the Acura and the SpectraX (which uses a newer version of LG's ESS Sabre) for the Honda (aftermarket system). For around the house I use the packaged AKGs which seem to do a good enough job. On occasion I steal the HIDIZS dongle from the car and use my 1More Quad Drivers.
I recently subscribed to Amazon's new HD music service which I read can reach a ridiculous bit range (32bit @ UltraHD setting). So here comes my question considering the hardware I use;
Lets say you have a phone that is capable of X-output... does/can the dongle DAC supersede the capability of the phone? For instance, my HIDIZS dongle DAC is capable of 24bit/192KHz and respectively, the SpectraX is capable of 32bit/384KHz. If my source file (music) is compressed at that level, will the dongle DAC actually decode at that level, regarless of the phone's capability? Or is the phone a bottleneck?
With that said... do we have any information on the capabilities of the Note10?

If your dongle does work then its outputting at it whatever resolution it says on screen. there is no analog signal thru the usb c only digital. The conversion takes place at the dac, so whatever your dac's capabilities are, that is the max you can go. For what its worth, the audio is **** on the note 10's included akg's compared to the lg v40 or even the s9+ with the 3.5mm variant of the same akg's .the note 10's speakers are really good though. Do you use usb audio player pro? Its pretty good for hi res audio .though i don't think it supports prime music yet.

Thanks for the clarification. I haven't used the USB audio player yet. I'm really enjoying Amazon Music HD. Some of the remastered u
UHD songs are good but some of the more recent UHD content like Chainsmokers' albums sound phenomenal. I'll check out the audio player to see how it works.
