Has anyone tried this out with their Infinity? Tried the trial version of this and it says that it is not compatible of some sort...
Hopefully someone may be able to enlighten regarding the use of this app since it sounds pretty useful to be able to convert some storage memory into the RAM

Very interesting concept. Too bad it doesn't work on the infinity.

Hi all.
I have a problem with the mass storage hack that we use to convert WP7 to a mass storage device.
It worked for me initially but no more.
Anyone else have this happen to them and more importantly, anyone find a fix for this?
If this is in the wrong place, my apologies mods.

Maybe the Zune software update "fixed" this.
Do you have WP7?
Because I haven't heard any of the other users over in the hacking section mention this.
Read my signature.
I don't think a lot of people use the USB mass storage hack, honestly.
Oh well, I'll have to do some intensive searching tonight.

Like I said, it stopped working.
I also got it working again.
As it turns out, there are multiple places you can modify the registry and you simply have to modify them all and see if it works.
For me, I have 4 control sets so I had to modify all of them and it was the last one that worked.
Anyone use this app with the 700? It won't connect for me. Especially looking for those who have it working between the 700 and SGS2.
I get error code 1. No matter what I try.
Any help would be appreciated.
I believe some do: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1791489
Yeah I guess I was hoping for someone to have the same issues as I was having and then maybe a solution. I'd rather not purchase another app that does the same thing esp if it doesnt work either.

I can confirm that SyncSMS works, but its not free.
As many of you know, the Galaxy S 4G has a lack of internal memory, making it hard to have apps that can only exist on the phone. Chrome, Facebook, Google Search, and Drive use up a lot of space, so right now I cannot install Chrome or facebook as the result of a lack of space. I was wondering if you could switch the internal memory with external memory, even though our phones aren't dual core. I found this too.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2229848 Would that work for our phones? Or even this? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2220255.
Thanks
Eventually the Adrenaline Injector will support this. For now, we're stuck.
the first and second link is not from sgs4g phone...

Yes I am aware of that, as I asked if it would work for our phones lol. I'm no noob to this stuff, but thanks anyways
I used one with great results, I can't remember which one it was and stopped using as using a zillion ROM's, it was easier to stick with the default for now. I'll try to find the thread again though, it worked fine with our phones.
maybe you should try this one?

for safety lol
Use this one. It has it's own app and works flawlessly on our phone.

That was the one I used to use, didn't know they made an app for it. Cool.
Howdy! Is anybody experiencing the same problem? I just bought my XZ and I've been using it for like 3 days. I didnt install any heavy games or apps, just some basic ones. But my phone is using too much memory, I only got about 200-300mb left, compared to ~700mb free on the first day. Though I'm not experiencing considerable lagging. It's just that I find it weird since I found other people having up to 1GB free.
Is this common issue or just mine? Please help me. Thank you all!
Btw, does AVG Protection prove useful in terms of ram boosting or so? Or should I just disable it?
Mine is on Oreo 8.0.0, build number: 41.3.A.2.99

Damn i was so dumb that i didnt even realize that. Thanks a lot bro. Just checked my device on CPU-Z to find my available memory up to more than 1gb.
Recently I've noticed, that by p20 has never got more than 1.9GB of free RAM. I never leave any apps open and usually close them as soon as I stop using them. Anyone else encounter this?
I'm on official emui9

Android has a different Ram-Managment than PCs. Free Ram is wasted Ram.
AndroidPit:
"This idea that RAM inside Android needs to be cleared manually is a misconception. Emptied RAM would mean that you need to constantly relaunch apps. This would cost time and power, and reduce battery life."

Thanks for the explanation, I'm a bit familiar with that, but I was just wondering because none of my other Huawei/Honor phones use this much RAM when not really doing something in the foreground

Has any of your other devices AI? Maybe it "thinks" it's necessary to use/reserve this amount of RAM?

Good question, I don't really know. The only Huawei/Honor device I've got right now is the Honor 8x. I know that it's got the AI camera and everything but not if there's more. RAM with that phone is always between 2 GB and 2.4GB free with my usual usage (and emui9)
I'm not bothered by having less free RAM as the experience is still very fluid, snappy and fast.
I'm just wondering
