Really, what am I doing wrong? Do you happen to have a link to the hd version in the play store.

The regular market version hasn't worked for me in awhile(honeycomb) I got the HD version on amazon a while ago. You may be able to find it there or on the interwebs.
Figures, not avail in Canada, thanks for your help.

I have the Amazon version from the day it came out there, but the only HD version was the Lenovo version, right? That's the one that I believe the second poster was talking about.
Or am I wrong? A quick look into the Amazon version, it's still not updated for months with issues with ICS. No mention of Jelly Bean. And definitely no mention of HD.
Now that you mention it, I think you're right about the Amazon version being broken since ics.
Odd that the very first iteration still works and the updated versions are broken.

Before I get flamed I purchased ipad 2 because at the time no android tablets supported Netflix. That was a deciding factor.
Looking at buying the 7" tablet btw.
So I have been debating on selling my ipad 2 and getting the new ipad, but I think I finally decided I am going to get an android tablet and would like to go a tad smaller. Then I might actually use it for its intended purpose. This tablet looks really nice, the only concern I have is if hulu plus and Netflix work on the tablet.
My tablet is used more for watching those two apps than anything else. Also anyone else go from an ipad to this and what are your thoughts?
Feedback would be appreciated as I will probably buy one Friday if it will work for me.
Thanks for the reply guys!

I was far more worried about Netflix than hulu. I watch 10 times the amount of Netflix than hulu.
Thanks for the fast response!

OP not to deter your original purpose but I was somewhat on the same boat as you. I had a TF101 and didn't really use it as it was too big to carry around with me and anytime I sat down to use it, it was easier just to pull out my laptop. Well I can say that changed with this tablet. It's easy enough to hold in one hand and is far easier to use than my laptop even when just sitting around the house making it my new go to gadget. If you want something smaller that is built well I would go with this tablet.

Both apps work fine but I don't think the Hulu Plus app from the market will install or run due to lack of hulu support. You can download a cracked Hulu app on XDA. ..just search for Landscape Mod Hulu Plus.

I don't know if this is helpful to your decision, but even tethered to my Droid X hotspot, Netflix runs flawlessly. I was stunned by the picture quality.

After reading your post I tried downloading the app and it installed fine and opened without any problems. I browsed around but didn't watch anything since i did not want to start my free trial yet.
As for netflix? Love it! i have the Tab2 10.1 and my wife has the Tab 2 7.0 and netflix came preinstalled on both.

I've been using Netflix and Hulu on my tablet. I also stream videos from HBO.com and Amazon's streaming movies as well... I am using the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, I used an ipad for a while but found that it just didn't offer me the customization that I loved with android.
What do you think of it so far?

No. Go to the market and download it. It's free and wipes its ass with the stock browser, in my opinion.

I was going to download it but it doesn't have flash support and that to me is a deal breaker.
Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk 2
Well, as a web developer for many years, I can tell you that Flash will go the way of the dinosaurs sooner rather than later. Regardless, if I come across a site where I need flash, I'll open it in the stock browser. Otherwise it's 100% Chrome for day to day browsing!

I've heard good things about it minus the flash support that's the new direction HTML 5.

Hey guys, just got the game "Horn" from the Play Store for $0.25 today. I'm getting an issue where the game refuses to load. Not even for once second before it crashes back to the launcher. Just wondering if any of you have been able to get it to work.
Also, it's a good idea to buy it now for super cheap so when the bug is fixed we get a free update.

Its only for tegra devices... it says they are working on it for other non tegra devices... it will be awhile. I knew it wouldn't load. But I bought it for the 25 cents... so later I save 5 bucks

I figured it wouldn't show for our devices if it wasn't compatible. Oh well, it's not like I lost anything. I'll save it for when I get my N7.
I just thought it was weird how it crashed, didn't even attempt to load. Made me think it just scanned the build.prop and shut it down when it didn't find "endeavor". If only ChainFire3D worked for JB I think we could get this to run.
Sent from my One X using xda premium
It says optimized for tegra 2 and 3. It didn't say it required it. This makes me upset. They better get it working for us.

Runs amazing on the Nexus 7, highly reccomended. Gameplay is very good and played for while before getting bored(1 sitting I mean, still love the game), which is more that I can same for most games. 7 in screen size is perfect for games like this.
Could probably get this to run on ICS with Chainfire 3D. I might switch back to Cleanrom to try it.

How to fix this problem is there a site to download data for madden 12 for att HTC one x ??
I already tried google but I didn't find it
Maybe you don't have enough space on your device? Or you picked download using WiFi only?
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda premium
I'm having the same problem. I haven't figured it out yet.
I have the exact same problem, and I've tried it on two different devices.
Just find a warez site with the application on it. They tend to have the data as a downloadable file and will tell you where to put it.
Sent from my One XL
Doesn't work with my 7 either. EA has been pretty bad with this. I still can't download most wanted data pack. Yet other EA games work perfectly fine like mass effect and FIFA.
Just find it on sharing sites. What choice do you have? Ask EA for technical support?

Was finally able to download the data for Madden earlier today - only been waiting around 5 days or since I purchased it... Lol

Only way I was able to get it working on both my Honeycomb tablet and HOX was to download the extra file to my Inspire, running Gingerbread, and then transfer the file over to my other devices. I had that issue with several of the games from EA.

Thanks for that. I have an Inspire sitting in the closet as we speak. I bought Madden during the .25 cent sale weekend and haven't been able to play it since.
EA is notorious for this. I can rarely download any of their files.
He'll I'm running viper and it says it's not compatible with my device?? I could never get it to download extra file before bit it would at least download the game itself lol any ideas?

Where are you? If you desperately want it just install the .apk, it takes about 10 seconds to do.
I'm in the US another family member on the same contract ( xperia play ) even has it..

That's odd. Try downloading it from here.
Google for "latest playstore apk" Hand install it manual.
For me it worked well.

Im on ICS.. go figure..this doesnt really upset me due to the fact that im getting a new phone ( Droid DNA ) Wednesday!
I don't think it's worth it. The old one looks way more organised and simple. I won't even bother installing the new Store's .apk
Well that's my opinion, you may like it better
Mine just installed automatically when I connected to the wifi.
solution
You have to go to services and clean the cache on the market processes. I had to do that with my droid x a long time ago.
Sometimes it just takes a while. On my phone once, I cleared it and force stopped it several times and it didn't update until a couple hours later.

No. I, too, think the new one looks hideous. Too much like it's trying to be iOS for my taste.
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using Tapatalk 2
I believe the new one looks hideous, the old one is way better. But of course, we will get used to it in the future (do we have any other choice?).
Anyway, to answer the thread, it depends on the country you are in. Usually, they update per country (if it is available to you).
