Hi
I've recent bought a mhl connector, but when I connect to the tv the picture flashes every second or two making it unusable .
I have tried two tv s and 3 hdmi cables and have swapped the mhl for a replacement but the same isssue.
The mhl is decrescent and I'm running viper Rom and have also tried zeromhl kernel and cm10 ,so I'm out of ideas.
Anyone have this problem or a solution
Would appreciate any help.
Thanks

Hey guys I'm currently running hypersensation cm7. Running faux kernel.
I used root tools to change my LCD density to 190 and now I am getting " application not compatible with your device"
Does anyone know a fix for this?
Sent from my Sensation using Tapatalk
Had the exact problem for some reason you have to keep lcd dendity at stock 240 for apps to work on market
If i helped hit thanks

when i install them from back ups and that sort of thing i have no issue using them, so i know i dont "have to use 240". being as all of my apps work without an issue.
I am assuming that the market does not recognize my device as a sensation because of my resolution.
is there anyway to edit/ spoof this so that i dont have to change my lcd density back to stock everytime i want to get a new app from market ?
My tab isn't charging right, I leave it on the charger for 3-4 hours and it only gets to about 25% ... not sure what's going on, any help would be great !

yeah, sorry forgot to mention, i have the aokp milestone 1 running.. had the official OTA for a bit, thats when i first noticed it then i went back to aokp and there was no change
May need to go into recovery, and wipe battery stats. Then put in on the charger.

Go back to stock, some of the CM based ROMs have had charging issues.
Thanks to you both, I'll give it a shot and see what happens

Also could be an electrical problem. Are you using the stock cord? Is it plugged in to the stock adapter?

I had cm on my galaxy tab and also had charging problems like your I would say its the rom!

I also had problems with charging on my tab after installing a custom rom. You need to wipe your battery stats. Or go to a stock rom as was stated earlier.
Thanks everyone for the help! I am using the stock cord with my adaptor that came with my infuse but I'll try all of the suggestions, thanks again!

Anyone have an issue with the touchscreen not disabling during calls. My ear presses things apparently and I haven't been able to disable the touchscreen. This has happened to me on every AOSP rom so far. Is this a known bug?
Are you using a custom kernel?
Sent from my One XL using XDA Premium
I'm using jacobs kernel now however its happened on every AOSP rom i've tried regardless of kernel
Sent from my One X using xda app-developers app
I usually just hit the power button after taking a call to lock it.
Sent from my Sony Tablet S using xda app-developers app
I've only experienced it while using custom kernels. Using the stock kernel built into the rom it's never happened to me.

I'm going to reflash tonight and see how it goes, having signal drops and issues now as well. So hopefully a flash will fix

How did you go?

Signal issues have improved I also updated to the 3.18 modem. However the in-call touchscreen issue persists it didn't occur for the first few hours on stock kernel but then came back.
Has anyone had issues with the volume buttons on their stock headphones not working?
They just quit on me one day. I'm running Infamous 3.4, but I don't think this would be a ROM issue and don't want to clutter the development thread unless that's a possibility.
Thanks.

This problem fixed itself when I flashed Alpha Rom 7.0 by Jamison... must have been a software issue in an earlier version.

Have you tried triangle away to use allshare? I was able to use allashare dongle when rooted after that...but didn't keep the dongle since has to be directly connected to tv, through av receiver doesn't work.

whoops try it again
Sent from my SGH-T889 using xda app-developers app
Triangle away may not work with custom recovery or custom kernel. I have heard mixed results with custom kernels and recoveries, I am running stock with root injected by mobile odin pro.
Sent from my GT-N8013 using Tapatalk 4
got the links for stock recovery and kernel?
Sent from my SGH-T889 using xda app-developers app
I don't. I used latest stock rom from sammobile.com and injected root during flash with mobile odin pro.

Alright then I'll see what I can find and let you guys know if it works thanks for all the help

Wouldn't cyanogenmod work? I thought you just need to have jelly bean 4.2...right?

It depends. Having CM JB 4.2 doesn't automatically means mirroring is available. I don't have CM on my note n8010 because I need S-pen support, but I have it on my Razr which is 4.3. No wireless display there.
