Cyanwiz for HTC SAGA by djpbx
This rom contains the TouchWiz framework on top of Cyanogenmod.
It's not finished yet, so still Alpha.

Yup... Especially with widgets, thats why i included the tw3 launcher. Not the 4.5 but tomorrow on my pc i'll mention it in first post.

[ROM][BUILD 4][24/12/2011] Unofficial Oxygen 2.3.2 port for the Desire HD/Inspire 4G

OXYGEN FOR THE DESIRE HD/INSPIRE 4G - SLEEK AND FAST (UNOFFICIAL)​
This is basically a mix of some CyanogenMod commits and device files that have been merged to the Oxygen tree, so all credits go to them. It is very fast! See for yourself..
Oxygen is based on AOSP and very lightweight. It incorporates several fixes and additions from other ROMs. I find it to be a good balance between AOSP and patches.
The last Build (4) has undergone enough testing to say that it is very stable. Battery life is reported to be very good!
This is not a binary port! It is the Oxygen tree compiled for the HTC Ace!

Flash with CWM. Google Apps are included (which is probably going to change in the near future). Do a full wipe!

Battery drain has improved, early days, but so far, so good.
Loving this Rom. Has the potential to be a classic.

Pardon my ignorance, but what's the significance of oxygen? I mean is it the name of your ROM or does it inherently mean something like ice cream sandwich?

It's the Roms name, which is based on Gingerbread 2.3.7.
The name suggests purity, as AdamG the Original developer always built Clean Aosp from source, and broke away from Cyanogenmod and similar builds.

i'm using radio 12.62.60.27u_26.13.04.19_m, do i need to flash a ril? i'm used to sense roms and i always flash corresponding ril after flashing a rom. should i flash ril?what is the correct ril for this radio(i have a ril for sense roms, does it fit?)

CM10 vs AOKP (as of 08/25/12)?

I'm debating between the two above rooms. Any personal experience with either? Which one is a better daily driver? How's the camera and video camera for each? Feel free to add any other info

They are both broken in some capacity....id wait until they both work 100% then make a choice.

CM10 is better atm, however this is my opinion. I'd say install cm10 with the blue and black theme. Along vwith the circle battery mod and run it for a day.

At this point I find both of them to be almost equally stable with CM10 narrowly out performing AOKP. I use AOKP because I like it more, but like everyone else I think you should just try both.

Can only speak for CM10, but it's been a great experience over the last week I've been using it. Camera (stills, video, and panorama) works very, very reliably.
Only one thing to worry about - the 8/19 build and the 8/21 build are almost identical, but the 8/19 build has quieter speaker phone output while the 8/21 build makes the caller's voice quiet on the other end. Personally I went back to the 8/19 build for that reason.
I did enjoy AOKP 6.3/6.4 while I was on it, but I've found CM10 to be a more reliable and polished experience so far. Can't speak for AOKP JB.

I use AOKP,but the best thing to do is to try out both, you can't go wrong with either. To make things better both Devs help each other out which makes it a win for our community. To top things off I believe Rohan is still in high school which shows off his talent and potential.

The CM nightlies have been better than aokp. Once the headset and auto brightness problems are fixed on aokp I will probably jump over.

I have no major issues on the 8/19 build of CM10. Builds after that have some minor issues now that the nightlies have started; they primarily seem to be coming from upstream. I imagine in the next week or so it'll all be cleared up.

I use CM10 as my daily driver now, and I have found it to be a polished Jellybean experience. I flashed AOKP for a few days but found the layout of CM10 to be laid out in a more sensible way. Both have problems but CM10 has a larger community on our XDA forum as of now. The devs of both mods are cooperating to produce two ROMs that allow for the best user experience possible.
The only problem I have found with CM10 is that, when streaming audio, there will be crashes sometimes. It happens once or twice daily. Everything else works smoothly and will only get better as h8 (the CM10 dev) begins to fully incorporate project butter.

I personally like Aokp better even though its based on cm10 but yhey are both good choices in the end ull have to decide so nandroid backup and try both

Go ask Rohan what akop is based off. I belive jb akop is mot based off of cm10.

No its not, never has been

AOKP is built by using device, vendor and kernel trees used by CM. The framework, applications, etc are based off of AOSP. CM also based on those same things from AOSP.
CM and AOKP are closer to siblings, rather than parent/child.

You will never know unless you try. The deal breaker I grabbed AOKP bec it was running full audio and music in my car bluetooth - for me thats kind of a big deal. CM10 is having issues, vincom posted fix for the audio music but not when talking calls in your car. Oh and... I used that fix for the AOKP rom to play my music.

I saw the Theme Chooser was included in your builds for the Desire from your FAQ. Is the Theme Chooser in the Sensation builds as well?
Other than that, is this ROM pretty much stock JB framework with some tweaks? Or is this a complete overhaul of the base JB code?

This rom does have theme chooser and its basically stock aosp 4.2.1 with minor minor tweaks so far like just battery percentage and rotation display

Only things not working so far after some testing is Wifi and USB tethering. They turn on but does not connect.
Wifi signal with tethering on also very low.
For the rest, everything seems to be working fine so far Great job!

It just reboot on flashscreen. Did wipe and fix permissions but didn't go. But finding out my gapps were corrupted lol.

Looks great Tron,im gonna retire from doing roms for now until i get my upgrade and buy a 64 bit laptop,so ill just run everyone elses until then,hahahaha,im downloading now,know its gonna be badass.

Why do you insist on cranking out these kick butt Roms for the OG? I am trying so hard to pull the trigger on upgrading to the HTC One, but no............. You have to release yet another Rom that is going to keep me on this phone even longer! Why do you insist on saving me money????
