- There's option at the bottom of your first post to Edit it. Your serial/IMEI can be used for dangerous purposes.
- Refer to This Post to find the correct OTA.zip.
- To install the OTA.zip, there are a few steps to be done. What was the last ROM you installed? Did you update to JellyBean via OTA?

But this method has worked for many people. Two of them reported yesterday.
at 10th step I had already given that you shouldn't flash firmware if you had already updated to jellybean.
But I seriously am think what could have could have caused the brick as the OTA matches with your firmware.
Did you do SuperCID?
Try VolDown+Power Button to go into bootloader.

yes done it twice
thing is
after it said done in command prompt, the green progressbar wouldn't leave, i mean it was stuck at the green progress bar
the thing is, i waited for a while for it to finish, a lil bit was left at the end in the progressbar, but it said done in command prompt
so after a lot of waiting, i just hard reset it, but after that the phone is not booting into bootloader and not responding at all
what is happening?

Bro I can't find anything that you did incorrectly. I don't know what the problem is. But I think that incomplete firmware update bricked it.

[Q]Odexed stock ROM - 1.22.401.1 + OTA

Hello
I have an HTC one mini, unlocked and rooted.
Unfortunately I don't get to it, to install the OTA.
I've tried the two ROMs
Odexed stock ROM - 1.22.401.1
Deodexed stock ROM - 1.22.401.1
both of JMZ.
That works with the deodexed no OTA, was already aware, but now everything I've tried to install the odexed OTA.
It will me displayed constantly, that there is an OTA.
But when I flash the stock recovery, relock bootloader and the OTA update, start it starts in the recovery, where after a short time, a red exclamation mark appears.
Can someone help me?
My Bootloader:
*** UNLOCKED ***
M4_UL PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
CID-11111111
HBOOT-2.19.0000
RADIO-1.19.40d.00.14
OpenDSP-v13.2.0268.0620
OS-1.32.502.3
P.S excuse me my bad English
you cant OTA with a unlocked bootloader as far as i know
correct - you have to revert your phone back to stock in order to receive an update. Simply wait for the latest version to be made into a flash-able ROM on xda.

If the phone was s-off'ed using revone you can use a command to remove the tapered flag. not sure sure about the relocked flag though. But this has all been discussed before. Search Google "revone" and XDA HTC One mini for s-off threads. It's all there.

Check one of the revone guides on here. There is a file you copy to your phones data folder on your root. Read the revone installation guide and see if the files from the guide were previously copied to your phone. If they are already there, then you should be using revone, if the previous user hasn't wiped the phone clean before selling it.
Else reinstall revone and use the commands provided in guide to remove the offending flags. Again not sure you can change the "relocked" flag.

Thanks for replying to my question Pal.
I've managed to figure out how to unlock, root, get SuperCid, relock, get another unlock token and then eventually get S_ OFF,, which wouldn't work until I relocked then unlocked again with a new bin file.
Once I had done all this I re flashed a new twrp recovery, then flashed a new rom from recovery, then gapps.. Still cant the find a vodafone stock rom I was on but as I now have S Off I guess that doesnt matter and I can flash the european latest rom if i want to.
Thank you for taking the time to help me Mate, I am Grateful.
Im still on 1.15 radio and I think I will try to flash that next with the 1.20 or higher version to see if it helps with my phone signal which is not very good

Htc One M8 network problem

My HTC One M8 from Verizon got messed up when i loaded a custom rom on it. It lost IMEI,baseband and the necessary stuff to make it detect network.
I tried getting the info in fastboot and found out that the IMEI is still somewhere in the phone.
Please HELP...
I am unable to post fastboot log now but i will do that as soon as i can, my HTC bootloader has been unlocked and s-off. TIA

I had the same problem. The solution is flash " DOTTAT_VZWM8_S_OFF_SF_6.0_RUU.zip " from here https://ga1.androidfilehost.com/dl/...5911973442/DOTTAT_VZWM8_S_OFF_SF_6.0_RUU.zip? .
Once that you have downloades the file change the name to "0P6BDIAG.zip". Then you have to put file in your SD Card and boot on hboot. It is going to check the file and ask you if you want to flash it. When finish it and restart, you are going to have network working again. Best regards
I get invalid img error;seems file is corrupt

means the file was corrupt or got corrupted during download. if you can find an RUU you should be able to use fastboot to flash it

Translation: re-download and try again.
And try not to knock a developer by saying he's posting corrupt files. Files sometimes lose information during download, which would cause them not to work. This is usually the problem.
You could avoid this by checking md5 after every download and comparing it to the posted one on his website. Match = good to flash.
Good luck.
