is there a way to enable all share cast? - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Themes and Apps

can anyone find a way to enable all share cast in galaxy note for wireless mirroring in tv like the galaxy s3?
Is it a matter of an apk and lib file from gs3 system?

im interested too, please help xda

not useful
i think this will not work with ordinary smart tv, it has to be use with provided Dongle , how ever there is few complaints either. so instead of asking about its APK, we should wait & see when its start working flawlessly.

how to dlna?

Anybody successfully use this feature? Just use market apps like twonky?
I'm surprised more people don't use this feature and improve on it like they did with HDMI mirroring on the evo. How awesome would it be to mirror your device wirelessly
Somebody point me in the right direction plz.
Yes! It works with iMediaShare (market).

[Q] any experience with Samsung's WI-FI All-Share Cast Hub

I recently learned about Samsung's WI-FI All-Share Cast Hub (wireless HDMI Display Adapter). See details here:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0089VO7MY
I'm thinking about getting one to use with my 5113. Before I do, I thought I'd ask here if anyone has tried and/or used one.
Thanks in advance,
Rich
Does your device support all share cast or are you just looking to add DLNA to a TV?

You hit upon my confusion. I'm confused about DLNA, Miracast, AllShare Cast. I've been unable to learn if either Miracast or AllShare Cast is supported on my Samsung Galaxy tab 2 10.1. I am running stock (but rooted) Android 4.1.1 on the device.
I should have asked about solutions rather than specific technologies. What I would like to do is:
1. display/show pictures that are on my Samsung Galaxy tab 2 10.1 on my TV screen wirelessly
2. display/show videos stored on my tablet similarly
3. watch Youtube & HBOgo videos on my TV using the cabailities on my tablet
I am familiar with WiDi and would like that capability as well so that I can also use my Windows 8 table to connect to my TV.
If you go to Samsung they are out of stock. I hope they are upgrading this box so it is a lot speedier.
If you read the reviews for this device on amazon it seems it may be too slow.
As for all share cast just go to the play store and see if your device supports the app.
I am also considering one of these to add DLNA to an older 61" plasma display. My tab 2 7.0 does not support cast, but I have alot of videos that work with allshare.
I think streaming won't work without cast, but that is a guess.
I got the allshare cast dongle today. I bought it for the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 but it does not work
I also have a SIII. That works fine. On the S3 you can connect with the dongle from the connection settings. It has a option AllShare cast. The Tab 2 does not have that option.
Please let me know if you have a solution.

s4 TV streaming sucks then try this DLNA app out!

GOOD NEWS, while i cant say i know why the s4 is stupid in the streaming department compared to the s3 heres a solution
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bubblesoft.android.bubbleupnp&hl=en
this app allows you to connect to a dlna tv (obviously one that the previously couldnt s4 link with) via sharing the same wifi network connection and stream your media to it. it works even better than the stock s3 video does because its it own video player and allows you to run it in the background.
for the record ive tried everything to remedy the lack of connectivity between a tv and phone but my s4 just doesnt take to my smart TV vizio like my s3 would. file sharing only works via ps3 but i wanted to stream and the screen mirror is pretty much for the new samsung tvs.

Jesus, how many threads do we need on dnla? I know you're excited but this forum is cluttered enough.

Is there a ROM that supports chromecast mirroring / audio.r_submix.default?

Hi. I really want to wireless view my Sensation screen on my TV, and I'd be glad to use chromecast to do this. Anyone fammiliar with this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/hardware-hacking/chromecast/experimental-enable-mirroring-device-t2812193 knows that you need a ROM that supports it. So I was wondering if there was a ROM that does so.

Galaxy J3 Prime - No Screen Mirroring?

Galaxy J3 Prime [Metro]. This does not have Screen Mirroring? I wanted to cast/mirror my phone to a Roku. YouTube seems to have something. But, I wanted to cast/mirror video in general?

theres a way to do it but you need to look on google play for an app. just search for screen mirroring apps. i have tried it myself but i could never get it to work. i have a samsung smart tv. but if you really want to put videos on the tv you would need to use a laptop or desktop with an hdmi cable. i had to do it myself but it was too much work to move my laptop around. my old desktop would work but i need a graphics card that has an hdmi port to plug in it.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobzapp.screenstream.trial is one of many. The question is does it work and how well? I want to connect to my Roku streaming media player. Not Roku TV, but a seperate device. One more question: This phone not having this function: Is it a hardware or software thing?

it could be both. because when i looked at the j7 prime it had smart view but the j3 prime didnt. i am unsure but you would need a good router and you may need root too. also don't use anything with a trial on it.
