Was just wondering if anyone can confirm whether we can run Ubunto on our tf700's or not?? Know that it will run on the tf101 and tf300, so figure it will on this. Wanted to know if someone was succesful or any problems??

Hey guys, just got home with my tab this evening and had a few questions for some of you guru's out there.....
Is anyone else having an issue with the asus email widget connecting to the msn/hotmail server?
Is there a fix for it?

Yeah I had an issue. Try changing your server to debug-m.hotmail.com

Thanks for the help, i couldnt get any of it to work. It seems the answer in the link you providd is working for everone else. I just cant seem to get it to work. Im curious if its because my email is a @MSN instead of a @HOTMAIL one

yeah i will... im about to unlock/root and flash a rom... and i dont think any of the roms have the asus widgets, but if i can find the .apk for just the widgets, and get them on the new rom, i will see if it works that way.
EDIT: Unlocked, Rooted and running CleanROM... still no msn email for me i guess i will have to ask around in the linked thread above.

I have this tf300 for like 2 months and never saw a rom that i liked so never got it rooted and now i saw one and i unlocked the pad already but dont know how to root it and i looked online and no clear steps how to do it ...

I just got my TF300 back from rma and found an app called TF300t touch tool installed which seems to be a configuration tool left on my pad. Anyone else see this?

Hey guys. My YouTube app keeps crashing. I dont know what the problem is. Its not rooted or unlocked. Everything is stock. Its running android version 4.1.1, build number JRO03C.US_epad-10.4.4.25-20121228. Anyone know of what could cause this?

Go into settings ->apps and clear youtube data, then reboot see if that help.

I've rooted all of my phones since the OG Evo on sprint......but when it comes to this tablet I'm at a loss and not sure where to begin. I'm running the most current firmware. Please someone point me in the right direction. I do not have a computer anymore. I rooted my s3 without one so I'm assuming it's possible with the asus .

Sorry mate, I think you're out of luck. You need a pc to root the TF300T. You'll have to wait until you can get your hands on a pc... or if Chainfire starts developing for the TF300T. If Only.
