Any one use it with N8000?
Encounter problem here for N8000.
Icons miss on the home screen flashing CHN firmware with mobile odin pro. No problem with desktop odin.
Kies can't recognize the device after flashing CHN or TGY firmware with mobile odin pro.
I'm with less posts to post in development sections.:crying:

Hi all
I have a Sim free Galaxy S6 running Android 6.0.1 BTU, I want to flash it with the Three firmware so I can use VOLTE and the 800mhz LTE. Every time I try to flash with Three firmware using odin I just get a fail.
Infact I was using Android 5.1 BTU and tried to flash Three 6.0 firmware using odin and that failed and soft bricked my phone, so I had to flash 6.0.1 BTU using odin, so I know I can flash my phone, it just doesn't seem to work with the Three firmware for some strange reason
Any help will be appreciated!
Edit: Just saw I posted this in general discussion :silly::silly: my apologies on that part
I have a Galaxy s6 SM-G920W8 which I originally bought from WindMobile in Canada. I switched Carriers to Koodo so when I did that I changed the CSC to Koodo's.
I have not yet received the OTA yet and I wanna get onto MM.
How can I do that, and after i do it will i still be able to receive OTA/Updates in the future?
My phone is not rooted.
Important thing: I DO NOT WANT TO LOSE ANY DATA ON THE PHONE. When I changed CSC's I didn't know it would wipe all my data, that was horrible.
Just download one of 6.0.1 firmware with your device's carrier, connect your phone to PC in download mode and flash the firmware via Odin3 v3.11.1
You can get Odin3 v3.11.1 here;

Your data won't be deleted.

Thanks I just did that, the video from sam mobile helped a lot.
Finally on marshmallow
I was attempting to rooted my G930A phone and failed. Now, I'm stuck at the screen telling you to utilize Smart Switch's Emergency Software Recovery. However, my Samsung Galaxy S7 is not supported. I am able to boot into download mode. What should I do?
Hello,
Welcome to XDA.
Try going to Sammobile .com or samsung-updates .com and find your stock firmware using your device model. Then flash it using Odin.
Good luck.
I wasn't able to find my model (SM-G930A) on either of those sites

any updates my phone is doing the same day.
You can always use samsung kies! And YES, i know it says phone not supported but if you do the firmware recovery it will pick up your s7 just fine and it will flash back your default firmware without a problem. The no support thing is just for the phone management but works for firmwares.
Try this

Hi
my G920F was 5.1.1 but OTA update after download 1.8gb of new firmware didn't finish update.
wifi work OK in 5.1.1
i used odin 3.12.3 and FIRMWARE XEO: G920FXXU5EQD7_G920FXEO5EQD1_G920FXXU5EQCD_HOME.tar.md5 after this phone powerON normally but can't enable wifi, it stuck on "enabling..." info but don't switchOFF just ...enabling..... and nothing more. Is switch off after 2minutes not faster like i saw on youtube videos.
i tried to use OTA but then phone said this update was made by: "unauthorized..bla bla... and USE: Smart Switch to download correct firmware"
i used smart swich tool which again download 7.0 firmware and upload it with ERASE option but nothing change still WiFi can't be enabled but bluetooth, network both work ok
wipe via recovery also done
now firmware flashed by smart switch is:
AP: G920FXXU5EQD7
CP: G920FXXU5EQCD
CSC: G920FXEO5EQD1
maybe i should use another firmware via odin with different modem?

Make times before a full wipe.
If that does not help, then load a 4tlg firmware with SamFirm down, which you also then with Odin flasht.
Example Picture:
Thanks for reply. I will test it but also could you give me a link to this samfirm tool which you used on screen shoot?

You had right, today (I left phone alone for weekend) I made hard reset again (via recovery) and wifi starts to work again. This is very strange I've never face such thing before.
Hi all,
I successfully rooted my S7 from Nougat using the guide below:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-s7-edge/how-to/heres-how-rooted-nougat-s7-edge-g935t-t3567502
But performance seems to be suffering since then. I'd like to unroot back to stock, but:
1. Can't find a stock firmware image of G930A to use with Odin
2. The newest version of Samsung Switch no longer has the "Device Initialization" tab as shown in the guide here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QhJngOuLQ4
3. I've tried with Samsung Kies as well, which seems to not properly recognize my device serial number.
Has anyone had success in finding an older version of Switch or other methods of unrooting the G930A?
Hi, same problem. Did you ever solve this? Thanks!
You checked both sammobile.com and updato.com?
If so try G930U firmware since it's just the unbranded firmware for US phones, works on all of them.

I did actually solve this a few days ago to unroot my Galaxy S7 G930A.
I used:
Odin V3.12.3 Patched
G930U Firmware (AP, BL, CP, and CSC files) from Updato (https://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?record=9CDE46F3EB8211E7A5F9FA163EE8F90B)
After doing this it honestly feels like I have a brand new phone. Huge performance jump compared to the rooted package.
