Any problems with leaving hidden menus enabled? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

I was reviewing the thread to enable the SG3 to be a world phone and came across a way to enable hidden menus ( *#22745927 to enable hidden menus). Is there any problem with leaving hidden menus enabled?

Hahaha.. agree.. There is still one more app, but i don't know if its necessary to make or not. Is the other one which you open by keying certain number in dialpad.
Last time i remember, there is nothing much you can do with it, and SparePart app already covers most of them.
Nice! Thanks
Much appreciated!
Thanks mate....
Can you add "Secure Shell" and "Unsecure Shell"?
Cheers
you have that in x10root from 1.6

Hey, no need, you can use this:
Long press on Home Screen > Short Cut > Activities > Scroll down and find Sevice Menu. Choose it and you have short cut on your home screen. But if you want it place in App drawer, use that apk.

Yes, if you are in the app drawer and click on the menu button, it gives you the option to edit apps. You can then drag and drop a new app to the dock.

Where are emojis in AOSP messaging?

So I've used the mods, the roms with AOSP messaging built in and I can't find where I add the actual emojis. I enabled the setting in settings but I can't find now, where I actually add them in a message. Any help?

You also have to enable them, in the messaging settings.

Removable tiles

I'm sure it's planned, but when will we be able to remove tiles from the quick settings rather than just move them about?

It's already there. Just keep them pressed in edit mode and they'll disappear.

[Q] How to remove AT&T carrier text

Is there any way to remove the AT&T carrier text from the top left?
I use xposed framework with the G3 tweaksbox module and you can remove the carrier text with that.

There's another way to do it without xposed. Simply download build.prop editor and change "ro.build.target_operator" from ATT to OPEN.

It gets rid of a lot of changes ATT has done to the software. It gets rid of the annoying AT&T text on the status bar and enables the option to change between LTE, 3g, 2g for mobile data. Also enables brightness and volume slider and much more.

Are you using Straight Talk? In my experience, that is what comes up as the carrier text when using ST. Either of the two methods mentioned here should remove that.

Thanks, I was able to remove HOME icon, yes I am using ST.
Just a heads up: I removed the AT&T logo via build prop editor as previously discussed today and lost the ability to access the dialer hidden menu. As soon as I went back and put AT&T as the carrier, saved the changes to the build prop and rebooted, the logo is back but now I can once again use the dialer hidden menu.

What is the dialer hidden menu? I am not too crazy about the two sliders being permanently displayed and occupying 30% of the notification pull-down.
The dialer hidden menu is accessed by dialing 3845#*850#
