Flashlight app which uses photo light - works great!

The app is available on the market. It's
caled FlashLightApp. It's a widget and works just perfectly.

I installed it but couldn't get it to open. The option didn't even exist.
However, I did find another such app called XPERIA Flashlight, that works like a charm.

x2! This is exactly what I wanted. Just click the widget to turn it on, click it again to turn it off. Even stays lit when the screen is off. Brilliant.

You won't find it in the app drawer. It's a widget only

Er, well it's in the app drawer on my x10! I've d/loaded them both.. to see which I like the best.

ok.. that didn't take long.. The FlashLightApp widget is easier to activate.. so I've plumped for that one.

Sorry, my bad. I was referring to the previous version of FlashLightApp. I've downloaded the update today and now it's in the drawer too.

XPERIA Flashlight has a one-click widget as well. I just noticed.

[Q] app to add to the homesceen?

I'm trying to customize the homescreen and i have a dock with a little "+" for add, but theres no app to assign to it that can open up the little box like when you press menu>> add or is there something I'm not seeing that i can assign that is like the menu>>add? or is there and app that can simulate the "add" thing where the box pops up showing widget, application, etc

Which launcher? I would try just dragging an app from the home screen onto the dock.

IIRC a long press on the + should give you what you want.

Is it possible to change the icons on bottom of the screen?

Yes...it is possible. go to app list, press menu (left soft key) and edit. Now you can change the bottom icons.

Wow, thx. Didn't know this was possible either.

If you want completely different icons from the default for each app, you can use Zeam Launcher together with Desktop Visualiser. That's how I get 6 round icons on the dock.

yea i funde this app before but i can't fix the sysbar.
but is there a alternativ?

Removable tiles

I'm sure it's planned, but when will we be able to remove tiles from the quick settings rather than just move them about?

It's already there. Just keep them pressed in edit mode and they'll disappear.
