Hello guys,
I try neoficial Cyanogenmod 10 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1821398 with my Tablet OndaVi10 v2.
Tablet crash and I had to use Livesuit and install any firmware. I do not know if the correct version.
From the second tablet (same type-original without modifications) I did that backup (use ClockworkMod recovery) and recorded this backup to crash tablet.
Tablet running ok now, BUT I have a big problem with touch screen.
Touch screen senses the bad touch (in a horizontal position). I tap on the upper edge of the display, touch screen but it reacts in the lower edge of the display. In vertical position it works properly.
Where is a problem? Any idea how it fix? Another firmware?
Help me, please Thanks!

My sister just bought a Quantaray 7" Tablet from a co-worker. The biggest problem was that he forgot his pattern lock, so using the tablet was quite difficult. There was also a problem with it not wanting to DL directly from the marketplace. Screen was working perfectly.
In order to correct these problems, I did a factory reset and wiped cache via bootloader mode. That fixed the above problems, but made it so now the screen calibrations are inverted. Meaning that if I want to press the "1" button on the keyboard, I have to touch the "0", or touch "q" to register "p". In other words, (while being held vertically) I need to press the bottom right of the screen to hit a button on bottom left. I've tried completing the screen calibration during initial setup, but it won't allow me because its so far off.
Running; Android 2.1-Update1 and Kernel 2.6.29 root(at)localhost #154
TL;DR - Touch screen inverted after factory reset (touch on left to press button on right). Need solution.
sorry for the bump, but I'm hoping that someone could still help
Hi all,
i have a zopo zp980 but suddently the top area of screen became not sensible anymore at any type of touch.
A possible soluzion to me is disable this area and reduce the physical screen size but i have almost no idea how to achieve this.
The device is already rooted, bootloader is cwm
Anyone's suggestions ?
While trying to apply clock work recovery mode to my rooted MICROMAX CANVAS 4, stange graphics appeared on screen. So I panicked and applied factory reset. But now the touch response is strange. When i touch the lower end of the screen the upper end gets touched. If I swipe right then the screen swipes to left. THE Status Bar appears on swiping from bottom to top. Can't type, can't unlock. Using USB MOUSE AND KEYBOARD at present. CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP?? I am totally new to android rooting and such stuff. PLEASE HELP...
hi all,
i recently replaced my cracked screen with a new digitizer, which is running the latest katkiss 4.4.4 rom.
the installation went well, but as you can see from the paint test i did (hopefully the image attached ok), there is a dead spot (in landscape mode) between x=650 and x=750, all the way from top to bottom.
anyone have any ideas on what it could be?
thanks!

Hello,
I changed on my Shield the screen because i lost access to the touch screen.
So i took a screen coming from an old shield that was bricked by nvidia (battery problem), the screen was working before the brick.
I tried to make a system restore, i tried to install a new firmware from Nvidia server (the latest one) with fastboot and still no touch.
I wanted to know if someone had the same kind of problem and if the controller chip for the touch screen is on the MB or on the screen?
Do you have any advices?
Thank you.
