Not quite sure what settings I am supposed to select on the PC. The benchmark always goes full screen regardless of the "windowed" tick box setting.
Also what graphic quality setting should be set on the PC to match the mobile? Default appears to be "Fantastic".
Anyway my results :
International Galaxy S3 Quad Core :
Average FPS : 18.8531
PC :
Intel i7 975 Extreme Edition @ 4GHz (Quad core with Hyperthreading)
12GB Triple Channel DDR3 RAM @ 1866MHz
Nvidia GeForce 295 GTX (2 x SLI GPUs on one card)
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
Edit... Didn't realise there was such a significant difference between 3DC-BMV-v1.00-Beta2.zip and 3DC-B-V1.00-Beta.zip :
Average FPS : 71.05304 (3DC-B-V1.00-Beta.zip)
Average FPS : 401.7200 (3DC-BMV-v1.00-Beta2.zip)

I would buy a new graphic card if you need your system for something media/3D rendering related.
I have a i7 2600K
8GB RAM
GTX660TI
and get 190FPS average.
While watching TopGear at the same time on the second monitor.

I got pink trees in the distance on my Optimus 2X

Yeah I know I use it for gaming and my graphics card upgrade is long overdue. Probably going for the 690 GTX but was holding out to see if there would be an 8GB version.
Not sure if my results are frame rate limited or something (v-sync?). My desktop is running at 5120x1600 so not sure if that might affect the results.Probably just my aging gfx card though.

beta2.apk not working on my gnex 4.1.1, opens black screen, rotate, rotate back and exit

Intel 3770K at 4.4GHz, nVidia 660GTi, 16GB Ram = 163fps.
Altering the resolution and/or quality indeed doesn't change anything...

There seems to be a problem IMHO. Even though those are fairly old GPU's they still shouldn't be that slow, even with 5120x1600 Resolution.
Here's my rig and results.
i5 2500k
16GB Corsair Vengeance (4x4)
2x GTX 580 Hydro Copper 2 3GB
Windows 7 Ultimate
I average out to about 466 FPS. Settings appear to be broken.
My Verizon Galaxy S3 seems to be unable to run the Benchmark. I have the .apk installed, but it will crash the moment I try and open up the app. Running Unofficial CM10

Laptop : HP Envy 15, Intel Core i7 720QM 1.6 Ghz, Ati Radeon Mobility HD4830 1 Gb DDR3, 10 Gb DDR3 Ram, Windows 7 Home Premium X64 SP1
PC Version Average FPS : 38
Mobile Version Average FPS : 168
Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-i9100 - Stock ICS 4.0.3 Vodafone RO, no OC, no root etc.
Average FPS : 15

PC: AMD Sempron 3200+ 1.8Ghz Single Core(or something like that)
1GB RAM
Not sure about graphic, all i know is that its ati with 256mb video ram
42fps
Android:
HTC Evo 3d
CPU - 1.7Ghz
GPU(Adreno 220) - 320Mhz(overclocked)
9fps

Here are my results,
Intel E8400 @ 3.85ghz
Nvidia GTX 260 216p 896mb SLI
4GB 800mhz RAM
Pretty old spec but still runs games decently

ok guys here is my result

with sony xperia s got 9,4 average fps /stock kernel and stock ics rom
with ainol aurora2 got 12,4 average fps /latest cm9 rom from christian troy

Same as the gnex user black screen and then nothing.

[Q] Possible to install Windows Embedded 8/Windows RT on Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 GT-P5110?

Hi
I'm thinking about if it would be possible to put any ARM Version of Windows Embedded 8 / Embedded Compact 2013 / Windows RT on my Galaxy Tab 2. I love Android, but sometimes i want to try something new and I know even when it's Windows it won't run normal Windows x86 Applications.
...The specs of the OMAP4430 Chipset:
Processor:
TI’s OMAP4430 applications processor (dual ARM® Cortex™-A9 cores running at 1 GHz each)
Graphics Accelerator – PowerVR SGX540 3D hardware accelerator
Video Performance – 720p stereoscopic 3D
Multimedia Accelerator – IVA 3 (1080p encode/decode)
Imaging Performance – 20 MP/s and 5 MP/s (dual cameras)
Memory:
up to 1 GB LPDDR2 RAM
Other I/O
1x USB 2.0 High-Speed Host
1x OTG
1x ULPI for connectivity to an external USB Phy
4x UARTS / 1 x RS-232
3x I2C / 1x I2S / 2x SPI
Operating Systems – Linux, Windows Embedded Compact 7, Android-ready
The Device itself has following specs:
PLS TFT capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors
Size 800 x 1280 pixels, 10.1 inches (~149 ppi pixel density)
16 GB internal storage
1 GB LPDDR2 RAM
WiFi (can't find any infos about it)
I have access to Windows Embedded from Microsoft DreamSpark, but i think they're only the x86 versions. Are there any chances to get Windows running on this tablet or is this simply not possible because of the bootloader or other limitations (like partitions, drivers etc..)?
If Windows RT can run on an old HTC HD2, why not on a tablet with a bit better specifications? (yes, i know the HTC HD2 was a Windows Mobile Device

There is no possible way to install any version of Windows on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. Windows is not open-source and can not be manipulated in such a way so it can install on any Android based devices. If they were to open the source code, I'm sure within a week or two it would be available, but I'm afraid it's under the control of Microsoft for now.
Sorry..
-RespawnedEvil
Okay i understand
Then I'll have to keep this tablet with Android, but there are ARM-Versions of Ubuntu and other Linux Distributions, should be able to install this native to the flash storage without running android in foreground and connecting to the Linux using VNC, but the problem should be that i have to find drivers for every single device like WiFi, touchscreen, etc.

I have my hands on this unit now and the build quality is good, there are few creaks and noises around the other trim when the top and bottom halves meet. The screen is as bright as my X98 Air 3G's and the audio is the same volume and no doubt the exact same speakers as the Air 3G.
Here is a unboxing and quick hands on video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8gvo9UtgUs
Touch response is good and smooth, my unit has a Hynix eMMC which reads at around 150mb/s and writes at 50mb/s. Cameras are the correct way up in both Android and Windows 8.1. 60hz screen in Windows. The battery life on my unit seems to read incorrectly, as Windows only reports the capacity of one battery cell of the two. I will see if a full discharge and recharge will fix this issue.
Windows seems to take advantage of the 2560 x 1600 display more and looks sharper and the metro titles and scaled well. Scaling is set at 250% on stock, but looks good.
Android: Play store is BROKEN! Not good at all, I have tried looking for an OTA, I think there is one. But I cannot download it. Maybe others might have some luck? Try here: http://www.teclast.com/tools/pad/pad.php My ID code is M6K6. I see files for the Windows 8.1 image and Android files, but I can't download them!
Edit: 30 minutes of Real Racing 3 and no crashes! Looks like my Z3736F is a good one.

Hi Hendrickson, thanks for your effort!
Can you make a video showing windows usage with 250% scaling?
Do you think lower resolution in x16hd model would be better for windows usage?
Thanks

Yes, more games tested would be more exhaustive.
Is there any performance drop in games? Can you check fps both in games and animations/transitions?

Asphalt 8 runs surprising well, a few drops frames, I'll have a video of it in the Win 8 hands on video I'm uploading. I honestly expected it run be super laggy and choppy and 2560 x 1600.

What's the price for the Teclast X10HD 3G tablet?
WIFI performances
Is there any way to have some informations about the WIFI performances of this tablet, for example when close to a 802.11n (or 802.11ac) WIFI access point ?
I've got a Chuwi V89 Atom chinese Windows tablet and despite its 802.11n compatibility I can only reach 72mbps and about 4-5MB/sec while transfering files, and I'm considering changing it for a more performant tablet

Play Store is broken. No OTA update to fix it as of yet.

HW for smooth Android Studio

Hi,
I am considering buying desktop pc and main purpose of it will be programming in Android studio. I was wondering about what is the most important part of HW ( because I will be built PC from part - not buying whole at all ). I know that AS is very sensitive to RAM ( and if RAM is not satifactory it concerns of HDD) but what about processor ? I am stuck between Intel i3 ( with 2 cores - 4 virtual) and AMD (with 6 cores - 6 virtual) - I read that power is almost the same in normal usage but what about AS - does it take advantage of more cores ?
REST HW will be :
16GB RAM DDR3
250GB SSD DISC
old graphics nVidia 9600 GT 1GB
old supply 500W
and some motherboard (besides of processor - aroud 100$)

Why Macbook Air won't open after installation

Hello,
MacBook air late 2008 model PC Bliss OS v11.10 64 bit uefi installation I do not open, black screen on the console # menu remains.
Ubuntu 19.04 version of Macbook air 2008 works very well.
This PC is also running Remix OS 3 installation. Remix OS is up to Android 6, I don't like android 6. I want him to install Android 9 for Bliss OS.
Remix OS dual boot UEFI as I did the installation.
I changed the boot menu to DATA = INSTALL = 1 DPI = XXX.
What should I do if I want to install Bliss OS?
My opinion is that the Nvidia Video card does not come with relevant display.
