MHL adapter - HTC Sensation

Hi friends, I hope to buy a MHL adapter. I have a hTC sensation. But my large display's resolution is only 1366*768.. but my phone output's 1920*1080 resolution through this MHL adapter. can I use this adapter+cable to my low resolution large display? If not, must I use this adapter to a 1920*1080 Full HD resolution display?
My large display - LG monitor, 1366*768, VGA port(on monitor)
tools - MHL adapter, HDMI to VGA cable
Can I do this? I hope your support.. thanks

Hi man,
I don't think the output is 1080p when using the mhl adapter.
you will still have the qHD (960 x 540).
you shall try.

Well It will ONLY show you 1080p content when it is a VIDEO. The everything else would be the phones native resolution : /

hdmi to vga cable will not work.

[Q] Transformer mirroring to multiple monitors

Just some background info first. I am planning on purchasing an Asus Transformer to be used as a car media dock. I have 2 flip down monitors for my car that I wish the display to be mirrored to as well. Transformer up front, 15inch screen in the middle, and the 22inch in the back. Neither of these tv's have hdmi, but both have composite rca hookups (r/w/y). I THINK if I can get the transformer to mirror image from the hdmi splitter > composite, I should be ok. Except I forgot the aspect ratios and resolution... So this is the main question.
The transformer's resolution is 1280×800 and aspect ratio is 16:10.
15 inch tv resolution is 800x600 with a 4:3 aspect ratio.
22 inch tv resolution is 1440x900 with 16:9 aspect ratio.
Will it be physically possible to display to 2 different monitors running different res/aspect ratio while still displaying video on the transformer itself, all while on a hdmi > composite adapter.
Any help on this issue will be greatly appreciated.

MHL adapter bad quality?

Anybody with a mhl adapter get good quality with theirs?
When I try to play games through it its super jaggy and blurry...
I tried on both a 720p and 1080p tv and they looked about the same.

HDMI video glasses with Android phone

Thought i would shoot this question out there while still continuing to search for the solution.. Has anyone had any luck with using HDMI video glasses with an Android phone using HDMI mirroring? I have a EVO 4G running Cyan 7, HDMWin for mirroring, Crazyremote for remote access to my pc, and now just looking for video glasses to use as a portable monitor for the HDMI mirroring. Resolutions less than 720p would be fine too if there is a portable way of converting the resolution to something lower.
Thanks.

Slimport Poor Quality

I have a Nexus 7 2nd gen/2013 with an unbranded Slimport connector connected to a 40" 1080p TV via HDMI. Sadly, the quality is terrible, with poor anti-aliasing and what seems to be JPEG artifacting on images - sometimes making images look like they've had an oil painting filter applied!
The quality is almost identical to Miracast quality, which makes suspect that it's not Slimport per se, but is how the Slimport transmitter inside the Nexus is wired up. Perhaps the Slimport transmitter (ANX7814?) is connected to a software video device?
I've rooted the device and tried different resolutions and DPI to no avail.
My only comparison is a Tesco Hudl 2, which has a proper HDMI output and the output quality is perfect. (I'm only moving away from the Hudl because it's a PITA to root)
Is this common to all Slimport and MHL devices or is it particular to the way some manufactures wire up the Slimport and MHL transmitters?
I don't have enough reputation to post images of the problem

Can we output Samsung Dex with 4K resolution on 4k output with wireless connection ?

I am looking to buy a new 4K TV and already own note 20 ultra. I observe that max screen resolution on phone is 3088*1440 that is QHD. Now if i want to play 4k HDR Movie via DEX on my 4K TV what will be the maximum resolution output ? Also will it support 60fps videos on monitor it surely does on phone and looks amazing (GEMINI MAN 2019 4K HDR 60FPS) looks smooth !!
I would also like to know if there will be any differences while connecting wirelessly or other via HDMI cable ???
4K at the moment is only avaible if you root your phone and dig a while. Wireless will always go 1080p and wired up to 2k.

Do you have some details, like a link to a howto? For example, is this 4K resolution real or just scaled 2K?
