Hi Guys,
have you solved you issue?
I do face the same problem.
Since there is no way to put H800 in a kind of pairing mode but only set it to middle position, the Note 2 does not find it at all.
If you found out something I would be very grateful.
Thanks

AND suddendly I found this and it works:
To pair your wireless headset with a Bluetooth device:
1.Set the slider switch to the Bluetooth icon.
2.Slide the track switch to "Next" and hold, and press and hold the "Volume up" button at the same time, until the link LED indicator blinks rapidly.
NOTE: For initial Bluetooth setup, your headset will automatically be in pairing mode.
3.Make sure Bluetooth is active on your device and then select "H800 Logitech Headset" in the Bluetooth devices list (see your Bluetooth device's documentation for more help).

Thanks! What a random way to have to access the headset. I wonder how many people just assume it is defective and return it. Bad move logitech.
I ****ing love you! Thank you!

I did it as you advised
By following your advice I eventually could link my h800 headset to my windows 7 laptop. However when going one step further, I could not connect the headset to the PC. An error message comes out "Error connecting to the earphones.Try again"
Can you help?
Had been wrestling with this on and off for three days. THANK YOU
Serious props man.

Does anybody read instructions these days?
Seriously no offence but this info ,(slide next song selector up and hold volume up button), is in the original instructions and online manual that come with this H800 headset and obviously no one bothered to read it. It was even stated at one point "I wonder how many people just assume it is defective and return it. Bad move Logitech." by Gmaninvan. Only people who never bothered to read the instructions would try and return it, at which point the Logitech rep should and would say something like "did you you put the head phones in the pairing mode as described in the instructions?".
I know this an old thread but couldn't help saying something.

You saved me, I had almost trashed it out of pure frustration... THANKS!!
I am unable to pair the H800 Logitech Headset with any Bluetooth device except the computer. Even though it shows up on the "Available devices" list it says "Make sure H800 Logitech Headset is ready to pair." The headphones are rapidly flashing green which is supposed to mean they are ready to pair.

Hi,
I have a question about bluetooth on my Cruise. I have a bluetooth Headset "Logitech Mobile Freedom Headset" (bluetooth 1.2 and no a2dp).
My problem is that it is not detected by my phone.
Is there a way to do it works ?
Thanks
I need a little bit more details:
What have you already done? Have you ever had a running bluetooth port?
Normal procedure should look like:
Is your bluetooth device set to receive signal?
On mobile go to settings - connections - bluetooth. Folder devices: Is the device already visible? Otherwise type in Add new device. Now you should see the new device. Do your headset require a password? Type in the same as given in the manual. Connection is established.
probably you have to put headset in pairing mode, otherwise your phone cannot detect it....
Hi,
Thanks for your responses.
stefan1959: my device is not visible by my phone, even I add new device.
my bluetooth is active and my headset is on. I have another phone (Samsung D500) and my headset is detected by it.
But I have paired it a long time ago, and it is already known by my phone (D500).
I will look at the manual (if I find it !) if there is a special thing to do to put the headset in pairing mode (thanks nushuth).
I'll post here when I did it.
Thanks

There usually is special procedure. Headsets do not operate in discovery/pairing mode all the time, so your problem solution should be there.
Ok thanks everybody. It works with paring mode.
I forgot it because I have another headset and there is no need to do that.
Thanks again.
Hi ppl,
I'm having issues with bluetooth on mytouch4g phone.
To connect it to hands free set I have to every time turn off and then turn on bluetooth on my phone.
Anyone have similar issue?
Is there a setting somewhere to set default device?
Thanks
Do you mean "Hands free mode" or do you mean pairing a stereo BT headset?
With the stock OS -- "Hands free mode" can be set by either 1) starting the Car Dock application, or 2) Using the BT headset phone button or the Genius button to enable speech commands, and saying "Hands Free On" once the phone is ready.
With the stock OS -- pairing of the phone occurs automatically whether the phone or headset is powered up first. Pairing of media (for stereo headsets) will only occur automatically with any degree of regularity -- from experimentation and observation by others, reported on forums like this -- if the phone's BT is powered up =after= the headset. One can manually disable and enable media connectivity after long pressing on the device in the BT settings window, and that will establish the media connection -- but it is probably easier to have a BT power toggle on your home page somewhere.
If neither of these answers the question you were asking, please rephrase it. And of course, for a custom ROM (non-stock OS), ask in the appropriate ROM's thread in the development subforum.
I mean bluetooth at car. I'm able to pair my phone with car and connect with no issues.
If I get into the car with my phone and bt on - it will not establish connection. I have to turn off bt on the phone and turn it back on. Then it will establish connection. It works fine with my old Fuze.

Hi Pirateghost
I'm trying to Pair my 'Bluetooth Headset (Plantronics Explorer 210)' with the HTC Inspire ..This device is not even detected by HTC when I do the 'scan for devices' from the Phone...but,I see the Bluetooth symbol dispalyed onteh phone...
Also this Bluetooth Headset is properly 'pairing' with my another Nokia Phone...
Further my HTC also 'pairs' properly with my Laptop'...
But the HTC doesn't detect the 'Bluetooth Planatronics' Headset!
it's Plantronics Explorer 210 Bluetooth Headset
....But this headset pairs properly with my 'Old Nokia phone'..but refuses to pair with the new HTC Inspire
But,the HTC Inspire pairs properly with my 'Laptop computer'...I'm reallyconfused..what's wrong...Appreciate your thoughts on this
I asked you earlier if you put the bluetooth in pairing mode before trying to pair with it? Not the same thing as pairing your phone to a laptop or using it with a phone that it is already paired to. First time you turn on bluetooth it goes in auto pairing till it is paired with a device. After it is paired with a device you must do something special to get it paired again with a new device. Again I only bring this point back up because this sounds like the only reason your phone cannot see the bluetooth.
How to Pair Your Headset if it Has Been Previously Paired
With Another Device
1 Turn the headset off.
Press and hold the call control button until the indicator turns red
and then turns off.
2 Turn the headset on.
Press and hold the call control button until the indicator light
continues to flash red and blue. The headset is now in pairing mode.
3 Use the commands on your phone to locate your headset.
For most phones, select Settings/Tools > Connections > Bluetooth
> Search > 2XXPlantronics. See your phone’s user guide for more
information.
4 When prompted for the passkey, enter 0000.
Pairing is successful when the indicator on your headset flashes
blue. Your headset is now connected and ready to use.

I was searching for this solution for some time, which was buried in a 13 page thread on the subject. Taken from this page (https://www.reddit.com/r/hwatch/com...ooth_headset_profile/?st=j6ocsof4&sh=983466ba), this has worked 100% of the time for me. It only took about 5 minutes to program in my bed--without having any previous knowledge of Automagic. I was initially deterred because of its reference to Tasker but I did find it easier than Tasker--which I still don't use or really like. Here is a copy/paste from the thread w/ a few tweaks that had me confused.
Since we got the Marshmallow update, I've had the issue where if I'm connected to my cars bluetooth speaker when I make a call or it comes in, would go to my watch. Workaround was having to remove the call audio from the watch and then switch it back on, pretty annoying. I tried using Tasker as a previous person made a post about it but couldn't get it working. Using Automagic, I got it working!
This is basically like Tasker but easier to use and not to mention I couldn't get Tasker working. The app costs $3.90 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ch.gridvision.ppam.androidautomagic&hl=en
You can download a free trial via their website http://automagic4android.com/en/evaluation
I got it working with 2 flows (Flow = profile). If you install the free trial, you can only use 3 flows at a time so when I installed the trial I deleted all the flows it came with. Basically what this does is whenever I connect to my car's BT it will disconnect the headset profile from my Huawei Watch and connect to my car BT headset profile. So when I make or receive a call, it'll go to my cars BT and not my watch. The watch still remains connected but just not the headset portion. When I disconnect from my cars BT connection it will reconnect the headset profile to my watch.
Create a new flow. I named it "Car BT connection".
Add a new trigger and choose "Bluetooth Device Connected"
-- To do this, click on the menu button, select new flow, click on the box, select the five lines, click on blue new at bottom, then select bluetooth device connected.
Click on specific device and choose your BT headset (In my case, I chose my cars BT)
-- After clicking on specific device, click on the three dots to the right of the space under bluetooth device addreses. If, like me, you may have two Ford Syncs listed (two Ford vehicles), you can figure out which is which by going to your phone's settings --> bluetooth --> gear icon --> delete the name of the device and select OK. This will then show the MAC address of that device. To figure out which one is which, do this while connected to vehicle and choose the one that says connected.
Click save
Click the plus icon and choose action
Select new and choose "Connect/Disconnect Bluetooth Device"
Bluetooth profile should be set to "Headset"
Bluetooth Device Address: Select your Huawei Watch
Choose "Disconnect" under Connect or Disconnect
Click Save
Click the plus icon and choose action
Select new and choose "Connect/Disconnect Bluetooth Device"
Bluetooth profile should be set to "Headset"
Bluetooth Device Address is your BT headset device (I chose my car)
Choose "Connect" under Connect or Disconnect
Click Save
Should look like this: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1J8Oay2yaZwb05WNzE2cVBRa1k
Click back arrow and create a new flow. I named mines "Car BT Disconnect"
Add a new trigger and choose "Bluetooth Device Disconnected"
Click on specific device and choose your BT headset (In my case, I chose my cars BT)
Click save
Click the plus icon and choose action
Select new and choose "Connect/Disconnect Bluetooth Device"
Bluetooth profile should be set to "Headset"
Bluetooth Device Address: Select your Huawei Watch
Choose "Connect" under Connect or Disconnect
Click Save
If you get a message stating something about if you want to reuse select yes and only for that location
Should look like this: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1J8Oay2yaZwWDUwN0dOS29KRm8

Hello:
I'm sorry to answer this thread after so long, but I bought the Huawei Watch 2 to use it to make calls with voice (via "ok google"), since my car bt does not carry.
I have done everything you say, but unfortunately, it does not work automatically. Manually executing the two flow, it works, but by itself it does not. Should we do more?
Thank you very much for this tutorial

Hi everyone,
when I'm playing music in the car by bluetooth, the music stutters every 10-30 secs for a short time (0,5s or something). I tried this with Spotify and Deezer. It also occurs when the display is on and the phone is charging. Am I the only one with this problem?
What I tried to solve this:
- allow high power consumption in background for Spotify (and Deezer when I had it)
- clear cache of bluetooth apps
- reinstall spotify
- uninstall Vivo apps like shown in this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/nex/how-to/guide-vivo-nex-s-apps-safe-to-uninstall-t3813308
Nothing helped.
I had the same issue with a LG G3, but never with a Nexus or a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
I think there is a solution for the problem with LG phones. You have to ignore optimizations for the bluetooth apps like shown here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4_hD1rEbRE
But I cant find this option at the Vivo Nex.
Thanks for helping.
Sometimes the problem is not the software nor the firmware but the silicon. It just happens! I've been a victim.

I dont use a case and also tried have it laying on the passenger seat. It's always the same in the car.
But it does not happen with my bluetooth headphones (Bose), so it might have to do something with compatibility, bluetooth codec etc?
I've tried to change the setting in the developer options, but when I reconnect with the car it always swaps back to the old/default options. Dont know if this is the right way to change this settings...

The setting the YouTube video shows is located in Settings\Battery\High background power consumption. Look for your app and select. Keep us informed of the outcome. Also, close all apps before you run your music streaming app. Turn off WiFi.
I did. But on the Nex S you cant do this setting for system apps like Bluetooth. Only for installed apps, like in this case Spotify.
WiFi was off, all other apps were closed.
Go to your friend's car and pair your device to his car radio Bluetooth. If no problem, then it could be your car radio Bluetooth compatibility. If you can duplicate what you want to do on another car radio with no problem, then you're halfway there.
Did not try this yet.
But the stutter happens only in the car and only with the Nex, not with the Samsung S7 Edge. Also when the music is downloaded. But no problem with the Nex and other bluetooth music boxes, headphones etc.
Could I try some kind of logging the BT communication to find out what disturbs the music transfer?
Is there a command for logcat that only observes the BT communication?
Don't know about logging Bluetooth. Perhaps someone here can help with that. Look in the Play Store for an app than can do that.
Yes, this is happening to me too. The car is a 2013 Kia Sportage if that helps.
It's happening to me every couple of minutes for 10 to 15 seconds, and is really annoying. I haven't tried anything yet.
I connect my NEX-S to my Pioneer aftermarket car radio via Bluetooth for Amazon Music and have no problems. Everything flows smoothly. I haven't made any changes to my Bluetooth settings.
It works fine in my girlfriend's 2013 Ford Fiesta, so it's just my car that's the problem. Has anyone had any joy with this?
It's been a couple of months, so I was wondering whether anyone else had experienced this.

Works great for me in an Skoda Octavia
Works as intended with a 2011 BMW. Only issue I have is that the nex seems to kill the music app service in the background after some time in pause and so the radio cannot call the play function again. I then have to reopen the app (even though allowed for high consumption and locking it in recent apps) and play 'manually'.
