This is done on a Xoom 2 ME(mz608)
I had bricked my xoom and tryed to revive it.
During the process I hoped to have booted an alternative boot img, but without success.
Next I got the "ap fastboot flash mode s flash failure" after each reboot.
To remove this error I dit the following:
I downloaded the right sbf file(1.6.0M-272.12_MZ608_p2HW_BlurRegion02_CFC1FF_fastboot_signed_latam.xml.zip) for my xoom from http://sbf.droid-developers.org/xoom2/list.php
I extracted it.
Then through fastboot I flashed the preinstall image: fastboot flash preinstall preinstall
After this the error was gone.
However I still have a brick an would need a system partition.
CAUTION: Do not use the sbf to flash your xoom if you don't have the latin america version.
You will brick it

Hi peeps. ..
Really need someone to help here. I've sold my xoom and need to delete all my info off it. I've tried to do it the the normal way of just wipe data but when it reboots into recovery mode it just says..
Entering Android Recovery Mode
Reading ODM fuse: 1
And thats it, its just stuck there.
Now I bought it second hand and was told it had been rooted and flashed with a kernel that allowed you to alter the CPU.
My question is how do I get rid of my data and get it booting into this recovey mode?
I've installed Rom Manger from the market and tried installing CWM but it just gets stuck again on the dual core screen.
Mine is a UK 3G model.
Any advice, suggestions would be most welcome. It does boot fine into android 3.01.
I need to get this posted out today, hence the wipe.
Thanks,
Steve
Get the UK img files and reflash it back to stock through fastboot.
Grab the stock images here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1049485
Extract the images and run these commands:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase userdata
My Xoom has had an odd problem. When I got it new, I unlocked the bootloader and rooted.
However, any pushed updates from Moto such as HLK55 caused my Xoom to boot and show the unhappy !Android icon. I had to shut down cold, and reboot. In other words, it never updated properly.
Now that ICS is out, I have Kang 1/15 running but have some non-crash issues. I'd like to flash to try to update to the factory ICS push file but fear that my XOOM won't complete as well.
Any ideas?
So long as you flash back to complete stock using the Motorola files you should be able to upgrade your way up to ICS (via 3.1 and 3.2).
Get the files from http://developer.motorola.com/products/software/
And as on that page, get ADB running and make sure it detects your device then run these commands.
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot oem lock
Make sure you get the right version for your device.
Hello
I have a Motorola Xoom from Verizon, and this is the issue.
When I turn on, the tablet it's stuck in M logo screen, I already read almost any information about this issue, but still I can't use my xoom.
I already done this: the bootloader is already unlock
a) Files From MZ600 HRI39
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot erase cache
b) used RSD method
c) used recovery method too
I had used every method on this forum to recover my Xoom, and nothing seems to work, at this time I don't know what else do.
adb commands doesn't work for me, only with fastboot and RSD is visible my device.
At this time I accept any sugestions, Since apply a factory reset, or install a new Android version
Hi guys,
Im from the UK and I have a Moto G XT1032 device which was running Cyanogenmod 12 up until yesterday when I decided to re-install the stock rom. Unfortunately, I have well and truly botched it. The current situation is that I have TWRP set up as the recovery image, so I can get into 'AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S)' OR into TWRP.
I accidentally wiped the 'system' via TWRP which seems to have caused most of my problems. I have tried to install the stock rom using a flashable zip (which failed) and I have also tried around 10 times to install the stock rom using the fastboot commands:
fastboot flash partition gpt.bin
fastboot flash motoboot motoboot.img
fastboot flash logo logo.bin
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.0
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.1
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.2
#fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.3
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot reboot
When I try to do a basic wipe using TWRP, this is what shows up: hxxps://s27.postimg.org/r1dax21mb/falcon.jpg (change xx for tt, I don't yet have 10 posts so I cannot post links)
I just cannot seem to get the stock rom installed and booting no matter what I try. Can someone please work with me to get this sorted?
I would very, very much appreciate the help.
Thank you
Ok so i've managed to fix the 'unable to mount storage' issue via TWRP. I changed 'data' to EXT4 and I don't get any errors now.
But the problem is, for whatever reason, I am just unable to install a stock rom. I've used tutorials and still cannot seem to get a stock rom to load/work.
I used fastboot to install the rom files is this zip: XT1032_FALCON_TESCOGBSL_5.1_LPBS23.13-56-2_cid7_CFC.xml.zip
When I do a normal boot it gets stuck on 'Warning bootloader unlocked'
When I go to 'recovery', it boots up to a dead android which says 'no command'
When I go to factory restore, it gets stuck on the 'Warning bootloader unlocked' screen
What am I doing wrong?
edit: I even tried sideloading cyanogenmod and it said it was successful, but then it boots up to TWRP. Totally confused! In desperate need of help.
EDIT: I have now made progress. Here are my basic instructions:
put all the files from the zip file in a folder
put mfastboot.exe files into the same folder
install TWRP, erase
run bat file (add/remove sparse depending on files)
reboot and wait. Should work
I have managed to install the OS but wifi isn't working. And i'm now learning about a file called persist that I need to look into regarding wifi.
