Can someone please help me with the issues
1) Is there any way to port samsung mini apps to CM10 (especially the mini task manager which opens on long pressing home button)
2) Which task manager are you using?
3) Is your MX player working with Hardware acceleration in CM10...If not, which player are you using?
4) Which launcher are you using with CM10...My go launcher HD doesn't work properly on it (probably because of TabletUI patch)
5)which music player are you using with CM10...
also can somebody please upload the google music player apk found on stock rom..

1- I think their is muiu launcher that could be installed in any rom
2-android assistant and go task manager
3- yes, try dice player (recommended) or bs player or vlc player
4-go launcher hd try nova or apex or holo launcher
5-google music player from market and walkman sony music player from forum

Can I use the original music player when using Launcher Pro?
I don't talk about the original Android music player but the custom music players made by the phonecompanies for there phones.
E.g. will the music player on the Optimus 2x work if I install Launcher Pro when I get the phone?

Yes you can. The launcher should make no difference.

Google play Music has received good reviews, and if you like a great looking player that is fast, easy to use, you can go for Doubbletwist or Uber music

I have [Port][GPL][Aroma][Daily Use] MIUIV4 ICS 3.2.22 Caspian Series installed
and I choose to install minimum ... so it didnt install music player
so can you suggest me some music player or give me the one that it is in miuiv4 ics ?
because i set up everything and i cant reinstall because of music player

I personally don't like Miui music player.
For something lightweight try Music player
For looks and features TTPOD is hands down the best one
Ty for fast answer. I reinstalled anyway cause I deleted that Theme.apk and i wanted it back so I saw that as destiny xD

There is torch.apk but i cant find it in system/app ? Under what name torch hides there ?
and in data/app?

TTPOD music player is the best!!! best sound quality nice effects and EQ, automatically downloads Lyrics and displays as floating lyrics, automatically downloads album arts too

In the past i used mxplayer for playing video from my browser (chrome/dolphin).
Now, with android 5.1.1 i'm not able to choose mxplayer for streaming online video.
I did these things without any luck:
-full wipe
-change rom (slimlp, cm12..)
-look into app manager for change default app
-use default app manager (from play store) for select mxplayer as default video player. Videos continue to open on stock browser player.
My device: oneplus one, root, broken os rom, boeffla kernel.
Please help, have a good day.

Many browsers has implemented their own players using mediaplayer api.
If you have stock browser try that. It may work.

Is possible to disable this mediaplayer api ? currently on my setup i don't have stock browser, in the future i will try with stock browser.
For now i solved some of my problems doing this: dolphin browser+jetpack+flash player always on (+flash player apk).

Were you able to install flash player apk on latest Android 5.1.1 or did you fetch some modded apk?
I have just obtained flash player apk from http://androidpicks.com/adobe-flash-player-latest-apk-download/ as this site claims it can be used on Android 5.0 and later. The same apks are also available on Adobe's archive pages. Seems like these can be used on later versions as well although these were developed for Android 4.0 and previous versions. The pathetic thing is Adobe has abandoned flash for android. And it seems like they are going to abandon it for Windows as well.
Besides, you should also try UC Browser as that still gives option to play videos with external player. Otherwise, it's builtin player is also no less than MX.

Click the button on the upper right corner of Jetpack and then select mxplayer from the list. If it still doesn't work, you can send an email to [email protected]. That's what I always do.
Am I missing the default music app somewhere? All I see is Google Play Music. What is everyone using? VLC? Poweramp?

I don't see any... I'm using light app Vanilla from playstore...
I'm using PowerAmp. Been using it for years.
USB Audio Player Pro last 4 phones.
It's a pretty clean phone other than Netflix. I disabled most of their stock apps. It comes with play music I think and you could use their file manager. I use Black music player and have enjoyed it for quite a bit now
Player Pro FTW. And it has an insane DSP addon
