Looks good. A friendly suggestion - one thing that I think would be potentially useful would be to include more links. For example in the list of phones, if you clicked on a phone in the phone list, it would take you to that phone's XDA thread.

Update Released 4.10.11 V9.5.5 / B9
I am glad to hear it. I have the latest update an added two patches: 1 HDMI LCD Density just app it's optional for those who hook-up the KYROS to their HDTV. 2. Gallery Patch if you feel Gallery not working for you for those with 7015 and not 7015A you may be able to use it. But if you'll set then you don't need to use Gallery Patch. Again the Gallery Replacement apps are included in the Main ROM. Try those out first. I see that some of you are okay. I might have the Gallery in place already. With so much testing and patching everything might be there. From 12:30pm SAT to 6:00am SUN can take it's told. But this is how I use to program games for MS all 67 of them and today those games can work under all the OS for MSW. Long hours do pay off but the key is debugging your work.
Anyway always backup your ROM first.. Enjoy!
See first post to get to the link too download!
Graphic Patch V3 Released Today 4.12.11
Today I completed the new task bar to a translucent black look which is more in line to what you see on HoneyComb OS 3.0. This will also help reduce battery drain to increase battery life! Volume Buttons are HC3 they do glow (lite blue amber) when you press them. Also added the words Google to the task bar to the far left. All task icons have now been replaced to match the translucent black more gray/on black. Again first will take you to the patch also when you get there scroll down too ******3RD PATCH
Enjoy!
Awesome! Thanks for all the hard work!
Does this also work on 2GB nand versions of this tablet? It's the same one as the corby, only the nand differs.
Anyway, thanks for your effort to this tablet!

You have 7015 with 2GB NAND?
B10-Full and B10-Lite Released
Two packages where made for those who requested it.
B10-L (Lite removes all Live Wallpaper, some games and some apps)
B10-F (Full package everything is included)
Both are currently available right now! See first post and enjoy!
Note: Tested on both 7015 and 7015A KYROS.
Yes and no, it's the same as the corby wth 2GB, altough it's a Chinese clone (Corby has just put their name onto it). It's also known as EM71, telepad 7", Herotab G701 and Lonpad D7.
B12L has been released this morning. Much more stable now. The Tweaks apps were causing FC-Errors and ES File Manager has glitch in it too so I removed that. AndExplorer or Root Explorer are much more stable to use. ES FM was using a lot of system resources.. Tweak apps are gone. Replaced both with Advanced Task Killer Pro (don't update this one) aCCleaner and Cachmate Pro no issues so they're still there. I've removed all the games too and some apps that were causing other problems. I've added My Settings App Pro if you need addition tweaks. Change the backlight to reduce drain on the battery also some major add-ons for OS 2.1 to improve the system to use HW instead of SW base. Boost OpenGL also. Increase dalv-cache from VM24 to VM38 and yes there are no white boxes in Angry Birds Rio or any other type of games like Basketball Shot 3D, and Drag Racing.
Enjoy! (see first post to grab the app) B12F will follow soon!
B12F Patch has been released!
This is a patch! You'll need to have installed the Full Lite Version first prior to installing this patch. There was some changes to the docker appearance to make it look better. So again this one has all the Live Wallpaper, Newer version of Launcher Pro Plus so you can have those fancy Widgets. 4x Extra Tools were added. I've tested everything out for couple of hours now there are not FCs. I was going to implement Ginger Keyboard, Mobo Player and Power AMP but those gave off too may FCs. Power AMP couldn't find the SDcard. Mobo Player lost Audio. Best to install these apps from Market this way Mobo Player will detect your tablet requirements and then push the the right version for it. After that it works as a good replacement for Meridian Player. If you don't want to use Mobo Player don't upgrade the Meridian Player otherwise it will give you FCs.
Unlike B10F, B12F you now have HW Engine turned on and tuned for B12L to turbo charge your tablet. With this patch B12L will be converted to B12F. You'll lose about 10-20MB of RAM using the B12F has more overhead under Launcher Pro Plus. If you use my Launcher Pro Plus you gain back 10MB so around 84MB. Use the Home Switcher to switch between to the two Home Screens.
Enjoy and happy holidays!
HCV10.0 Build 14L was released this morning...
I've been working on this one, well not on Easter but that's was my day off to get some needed grub. Anyway so now you have Build 14L for those of you who had Build 10L and Build 12L you can keep your settings and just install the update. Note since this changes alot of prior settings the update will reboot on the first go and recycle the boot animation again. So just be aware of that. After that it loads so fast you won't expect it! Anyway it's late here so I heading off to bed so that's why the 3 other packages haven't yet been posted. I had worked on this as soon as I came back from Easter dinner. I was showing off the COBY to the family trying get it in their heads what you can do with the COBY and look at the nice HONEYCOMB UI. Of course none of them had a clue of what I was talking about. They seem to like the game called DRAG CAR racing it was really quick on Build 12L which was loaded. I wasn't finished with Build 14L yet. On the way back the wife did the driving and I had the COBY in WiFi Analyzer mode. I was able to pick up all sorts of WiFi networks from DunkinFreeWiFi (passing a Dunkin Donut at 10pm) COBY with my improvements can now pick up all sorts of hotel and etc.. WiFi hot spot and I was more than 1000 FT from those places. Not bad.. I can see how far my own WiFi is from the road.
Anyway see ya later.. Oh yes I did change the Boot Animation to my liking and fixed it too. There is boot audio but I guess the COBY doesn't support it also added more audio features again the COBY doesn't support it oh well, can't say I didn't try!
4x Packages have been released see first post. Choose your package wisely. Those with patches need prior releases for them to work. Full Update and Lite Update are the main package those are install using differently. Patches can be started in HC under docker then select quick boot app. Instructions are included in the main zip. Yes Zip is used instead of 7z to me it's better for me to use Zip.
Now I do recommend ClockWork Recovery Mod Backup first before you do anything. Make sure you have 8GB or higher microSDcard and you need space for your backup. Just follow the directions on the main post. If you new you need to read how to install clockwork mod it also shows you how to root your Coby 7015/7015A.
Okay.. Tested okay but I've been working on this one as a standby. It's needed because of a defective module for GPU. It seems when you reach level 2 under Angry Birds Rio you start to see white boxes again. Now I didn't notice this until I got to level 3-4. Wow! So I've fixed it 2-ways thus also fixing improvements in memory resources should be higher now. Other stuff I was working on are now included in this small patch. You still need to install B14 either Lite or Full then use Quick Boot under Dock to do a recovery then select the update.zip to install. This one also has the new boot-animation. Note the one I wanted to add but the runner up version. Much better then the one in B14 as you'll load-up and see.
Make sure you run Cachemate
Newest Release Released!
New packages:
Xtreme gives you over 100MB free but you don't have Market, Gmail, Maps, Voice, No Live Wallpaper
Lite no Live Wallpaper
Full Live Wallpaper (everything)
Multi-Patch For B15 or B16 to keep your prior settings.
Changes are as follows the tablet will be programmed now to use the 256MB and part of it will be use a full speed I/O Buffering Correctly You see this more under games like Angry Birds and Angry Birds RIO. Make sure you turn off WiFi to get the best performance since adverts will slow you down. Memory is higher I had maxed out at 96MB even with WiFi on.
Xtreme Package is for those who don't want Google Apps and Voice is removed. You'll give over 100MB free. Full package you'll see like 89MB free or 90MB free. Depends on what you have configured. More focus was done on the memory side this time to improve the the tablet over all. VM is set correctly now prior settings and theories were based on the limited memory in Smart phones. Now that we have tablets I figured it out what was the issue.
Enjoy!
Help 7015a colors washed out after HC 2.1 ROM install
Please help me after installing this HC ROM the darker colors on my tablet are all washed out like its displaying in negative film mode or something. Youtube videos look dark. I have tried going back to the watery ROM that was on there previously when the colors were ok but that did not help. Seems to me this color issue is permanent no matter which ROM I use. I downloaded the stock update.zip from the cobyusa website but it errored out when trying to install it from Clockwork Mod. When trying to search on this all I have found was to return it to Coby
Please help!

Claystone Beta 3- 3D Android home screen replacement, launcher, and media player

Claystone is a new 3D Android home screen replacement, media player, and launcher. We currently distributing developer preview betas to improve the product and get valuable feedback from the developer community. We are looking for feedback about the UI, stability, and overall functionality before we launch on Android Market.
What is unique about this home screen replacement is a 3D user interface with embedded viewers for video, photos, file browsing, web browser, YouTube, contacts, RSS news feeds, and more. The UI was designed for browsing content while you are viewing content.
Feature Summary
- Android 2.1 and higher home screen replacement
- Smart phone optimized
- 3D interface taking advantage of OpenGL
- Integrated media viewer apps for video, file browser, YouTube, web browser, photos, contacts, RSS reader, with more to come…
- Viewer apps bring functionality to the home screen and extending what you can do directly from your home screen in Android
- Claystone reduces the dependence on starting separate app for each media content type and our goal is to provide a more convenient and integrated experience
Widgets
- The Beta 3 widget experience will be replaced with a more standard widget implementation in Beta 4
Getting Started Tips
- Use the swipe left-right gesture to move through the stacked 3D panels
- The following items on the Home panel allow integrated viewing of content in the 3D interface: YouTube, Video, Photos, Contacts, File Browser, Web Browser, RSS Feeds
- Use the press-and-hold gesture throughout Claystone to access additional functions and options
Claystone is Now Available in Android Market
- Claystone is now available in Android Market
- Search for the keyword "Claystone"
Sounds sweet. I hope it won't force me to use popups for anything?
On my phone HTC HD2 (Android 2.3) will work?

Claystone launches Android Apps full screen and the panels load in a 3D stack that you can scroll through using a left-right finger swipe.
Great, worth a try then thanks!

Android 2.1 and higher are supported so Android 2.3 should pose no issues.
We have tested on HTC devices and the screen resolution is also ideal for claystone.
Let us know if you have any issues.
Doesn't display well on HVGA screen...LG P500
> Doesn't display well on HVGA screen...LG P500
We've been working on getting a bunch more devices to test on. Stay tuned!
Hi. On my Original Droid when a screen is enlarged, it is off to my left and never 100% visible. Also, it was very slow. This may be due to my phone being rooted, but I had to uninstall.

+1 I can confirm that. The dock icons are huge and the widgets misaligned.
Anyone tried this on a Droid X?
I'm gonna give it a try this evening. I think I tried the earlier beta a few days ago and it had issues as if the screen was off to the left etc. I attributed it to possibly a bad install or something.. I'll give beta 3 a go and report. Screenshot anomolies, etc.
Always a fan of new UI development.
Seems smoother, apps scoll much better-still not fluid yet. Widget screen is bigger. Will give overall in a little while. Limited widgets. Missing recent box-I liked that
On the right track though...
Love the concept of this launcher, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get portrait mode working. Using HD2 on 2.3.3 and it is always in landscape, and has no bottom bar.
Try it on the hd2 with cm7 and it work good I would make the 3d windows or what they are called a little bigger and maybe customizable options but other then that good work
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA Premium App
Added Widgets gone after a reboot to be never seen again. <-beta 2 retained these
Still sluggish
Would be nice to be able to resize/move panels
No picture/video bar across top on tablet
SD card (sd2) still not being seen only main storage
You tube still unstable, but better than beta 2
cannot see/launch launchbar
Keep up the good work-it's getting there
unfortunately, I still cannot use this as my daily launcher.
I think you will have more customers if you made a fully customizable one of these...

On my phone, the window isn't centered, its too far right and down.
Also the dock is huge.
Nevertheless, this is a fresh idea and I see some potential.
Sent from my HTC Legend
It looks nice maybe i will try this on my sgs
Looks a bit like the palm os with the cards. Works fine at all, but it would be nice if the stacks were a little bigger. Maybe it would be possible that the cards go fullscreen when they get focus, and with the homebutton you can make them smaller to see them like its now in standard view.
But thats just a little idea.
Glad to see where this is going.

Beta 3
Still off to the left somewhat but better centered. Complicated to figure out. Videos are small and do not play in landscape and it's difficult to tell which windows are open esp difference between home, app..............Editing launcher bar is nice. Is there a settings (not the one for the phone or info for contact available via the app?

====================================================
i know you guys may think it looks like MIUI , but i assure you it's totally different ROM nor MIUI-based modification , and if you have time , please read first pages of all these kind people's reports and feelings about this ROM.
what i think is , every and any ROM is like child to all of us in Android community , and please don't think it is bad or ugly or whatever negative expression you can think of , because nothing is perfect , as MIUI , it is now 71 weeks old , and this one is only 3 weeks old, and for now , MIUI 4.0 does have problems and bugs as well as this one, it has some problems or bugs, but that's how all ROM start, right ?
we are just like bunch of daddies (mommies) here , to help developer to raise (improve) thier child (ROM) , they need you help and report!

DX ROM introduction translated as requested (this translation almost got me killed -_-!!! be honest , i don't know what i am saying now...)
点心 (Dian Xin) in chinese, when put these 2 words together it means small food like cake or snack , in this case related with Android (cupcake, donut, eclair, froyo, gingerbread, honeycomb and ice cream sandwich), but , when separates them , the first word means "target" or "aim" , and second means "heart"

}
and put them together also can be explained "aimed/targeted your heart" (don't get me wrong , doesn't mean wanna shoot you )
it means design and make ROM to do/be what you want, what you prefer.
Based on ASOP 2.3.7 (4.0.3 for Nexus S)
Seek high quality, make it an useful, utility ROM
Take account of both users experience and performance, let users joy using thier device.

i can't say about that ... even so , need help for translation to other languages
I don't know how, but I would like to translate to German^^
Sent from my Desire HD using xda premium
click me signature , there is theme tutorial
watch it , after you decompile the APK file.
go folder ***/res , *** is name of APK file you decompiled
in /res folder you will see folder named "values" and "values-zh-rCN"
and in both folders , there is XML file "string.xml"
first folder contains english, second is for chinese , you have to created a new one names "values-de" in your case , "de" means germany.
and then translate english string.xml and save it into "values-de" folder and then recompile the APK file.
be careful you have to use something like "Notepad++" instead of regular windows's notepad , otherwise you will have encoding problem and it won't work properly.
my tutorial has all tools and how to de/recompile you need
but seriously .... there are over 70 apk files ... .... ...
but perhaps you can review and copy some already translated string from CM7
Thanks, I do my best

Inspire support also?
You've stopped me playing Minecraft
Is this ext3 or 4, or doesn't it matter?
Thanks in advance.
Hmm let's see how this works out. Will edit post in about an hour when I abuse it.
Glad to see something new and fresh. It looks similar to miui but what i like is that it has a app drawer something that miui does not have and i like that. im downloading as we speak eager to try it out
Thinking of trying this one. Maybe even would start translating it to Russian

Any better replacements for Ex Dialler
Any better replacements for Ex Dialler? I was not impressed by it as it adds very little functionality to what is already there. Is there something similar to touchwiz dialler?

I found that Sony default dialler is as good as ex dialler. I need something with the functionality of Touchwiz dialler.
1. I can blacklist a number directly from the log by longpressing the number and selecting to add to the blacklist
2. I can select a contact and send part of the number or all of the number as an SMS (instead of sending it as a vcf - which is an mms) and so on..

Thanks. Will try to those..
Thank you so much for this list of apps for this amazing handset. Having come from iOS I'm completely lost when it comes to decent apps that add great functionality so this is exactly what I need :good:

Seeing as I already have an Apple TV connected to my TV I thought I would try the "Apple TV Media" App.
Unfortunately it does not work for me. Despite scanning many times it simply can not find the Apple TV.
Has anyone tried the App and if so what did they find?

2GB RAM and quad 2,2 GHz - are you shure that you need memory booster?
sorry noobie here, just wanted the best performance for my z1,
Nubia Camera - great alternative to the stock camera
Business Calendar - simply the best calendar there is
Google Keep - Note! Synced? job done
Co-pilot - first app i ever bought, best sat nav ever made.
Tube map (if you live in london)
Foldermount (if you need more than the 16 youre given)
ShowBox - DLNA out movies on the fly, superb app, won't last forever.
XBMC - Basically if you've got sky movies, you won't after you've learnt how to use this.
Meme Generator - Make memes.
Fotmob - rock solid footy app
Rolle Youtube. - stable advertless you tube downloader.
Root explorer - the original and the best.
MX Player - A household name, just like VLC for PC's
Zedge - Vast array of tunes, not's and WP's
Deezer - slightly better spotify player.
titanium - need i say anything
Wifikill - i like this app
I can't do without these apps, if i did it wouldn't feel like anrdoid
Oh and CRT as a mod, once i'd used it i couldn't go back, plus the menu system on some AOSP apps with WAVE (LEFT) it's just sublime, shame it can't be implemented.
BEST LAUNCHER - honestly i don't agree about Nova Launcher. I loved it till i had the Xperia Arc.
But on the Z1, while it's still fast and with good graphic effects, it has millions of issues. One for all, as i wrote to the developer, you can NOT see the sony widgets and use them on the nova desktops.
So for example, no clock/alarm, no weather, no power controls (the very useful widget with on/off buttons for gps, wifi, 3g, brightness and so on...) widgets.
You have to use POWER CONTROLS because of this, while they are there from sony!
After a lot of tries, so far i stay with the sony stock one, as per now.
BEST VIDEO PLAYER - for me it's still Moboplayer.
BEST FILE MANAGER - for me it's Total Commander
About Showbox, because of copyrights infringements, it's not on google play or xda anymore. I don't trust too much other sources.
About I See You, it doesn't really work with last Android 4.3 firmware (waiting for something by Sony about this, also because of needing to work properly with Stamina)

[APP][4.1+] Kiwi Browser? Chromium + Adblock + CAF + Night Mode 2021-07-29|Active

Hi,
*** Join the Kiwi development Discord @ https://discord.gg/XyMppQq ***
I've been an official developer on the Chromium project and WebKit in 2007 and 2008 (paid by Google as part of Google Summer of Code).
Since the feedback has been positive, I'd like to interact with the XDA community to get feedback, ideas, or just give help.
I'm a big fan of CAF Browsers, but unfortunately, they are not updated anymore and this is one of the biggest reason I've started the work.
This is *not* a variant of an existing project. The codebase varies significantly but it's conceptually inspired by CAF.
The browser is still very much work-in-progress, so I really appreciate feedback and ideas. I'm working 4 hours per day on the browser and I use it myself every day so decent stability is expected.
This is a hobby project, and I'm looking for feedback here, so I'm cool with any kind of critics.
I can only answer outside of daytime (Europe timezone) as I have to work during the day to buy food for my cats.

Kiwi Browser
What is Kiwi Browser ?
- Kiwi Browser is a Chromium Canary that includes performance improvements and adblock.
- What's this browser for ?
Imagine a grumpy grand-pa, and that's how the browser should be. The browser should be forgotten and not go in your way.
No flashing stuff, no annoyances, Fast & Quiet.
If you want to add a search engine, just go on the search engine website, then the search engine will appear by itself in settings.
Features:
* Support for Chrome Extensions
* Speed improvements
I've added lot of crazy hacks inside WebKit (Blink) to get it running faster.
* Night mode
* Move address bar to the bottom
* Cookie acceptance
Automatically accepts lots of "Please this is GDPR, and cookie, and blablabla" messages.
It's not perfect yet, as many websites have added GDPR messages lately.
* Notifications blocker
Blocks notifications.
* Cryptojacking blocker
Saving battery and prevents phone from heating.
Try it on http://www.coinhive.com (you can re-enable cryptomining in chrome://flags if you really like it for some reason )
* Extensions support
Supports real Google Chrome extensions.
* Popup-blocker
This is not the usual popup blocker, there is an heuristic inside to browser to determine whether the new window should be opened or not.
* Adblock & Tracking protection
The browser offers much better privacy protection than Chrome and Brave. It blocks also lot of ads. Not really because ads are bad, but mostly to make the browsing fast.
* Android 4.1+ support for both ARM and X86
Note: On certain Android versions, when you uninstall an app, Android also removes your downloads.
Keep it in mind if you manipulate Kiwi (to backup bookmarks file) or transfer to another device.
Important things to know about privacy:
- No tracking SDK
https://reports.exodus-privacy.eu.org/en/reports/search/com.kiwibrowser.browser/
- No in-app tracking / metrics
- No history collection
- Self-funded

Release notes
Version Quadea (October 07, 2019)
This version improves stability and add 2 new functionalities, in Main Menu, Settings, Accessibility:
- Always Desktop.
Useful if you are a tablet user, and you prefer Desktop version of websites.
- Toolbar always on screen
If you have a large screen, and want to keep the address bar always handy without having to scroll.
The toolbar is always on by default if you have Accessibility services. You can change that using this option.
Version Lena (September 28, 2019)
This version contains new speed optimizations and fixes minor issues.
The support of shortcuts (special keywords with the exclamation mark symbol) is now extended to all countries and to all search engines. Type: !bangs in the address bar to learn more.

Remember to activate Hide annoying ads in the main menu if you want faster browsing.
Version Eden (May 26, 2019)
This version resolves issue of extensions unloading.
On some devices (in particular Xiaomi), extensions may be unloaded by the system when the device wants to optimize memory.
During the optimization, the device (Android) chooses what processes to disable.
In this new release of Kiwi: Kiwi indicates to Android that if Android wants more memory, it should try to avoid disabling the current active tab and the extensions.
If the extensions are disabled by Android, Kiwi will try to reload them.
Version Deneb (May 23, 2019)
This version includes very significant performance improvements (especially when scrolling, pinching, zooming) and minor fixes.
On some older devices the difference can be very visible.

Version Pollux (May 8, 2019)
The bad news: Background play is now disabled on YouTube (request of Google).
XDA users are smart and may find better software for this in these forums and the most technical may even find way to mod the browser but I won't provide any support or help for this.
The good news:
- This version has better performance
- New content filters
- Better extensions support
- Introduces a Diamond Black theme and the homepage is compatible with Dark Reader.
Version Phi (April 19, 2019)

List of HTTP queries used in the browser:
- search.kiwibrowser.com tells you what is the closest google.com server (google.fr/google.de/google.it)
http://search.kiwibrowser.com/searchdomaincheck?format=domain&type=chrome
This is a speed reason, if you go directly to google.fr rather than google.com and then google.fr it's faster, and the browser caches this information
- update.kiwibrowser.com is to download the ad blocking list ( http://update.kiwibrowser.com/service/update2 ), yes it needs to download it from somewhere.
Brave downloads it from AWS for example. I do have the same: a text file with a list of filters
- suggest.kiwibrowser.com is a 302 to Google autocomplete (and DuckDuckGo for some users who are beta-testing Bang support)
If you change your search engine, even to the baked Google one, you won't get connected to suggest.kiwibrowser.com at all as far as I know.
At the end of the day, I need to send the query somewhere, there is no choice.
Whether Google, or DuckDuckDuck if you want Suggest, it *has* to ask a server somewhere.
You can turn Suggest off, or send Suggest to your favorite search provider by adding or selecting it.
- chromecontentsuggestions-pa is to download news - http://chromecontentsuggestions-pa.kiwibrowser.com/v1/
Hello !
I'm not reporting any issue, it's just a comment to let you know that I just downloaded and tested the app on 2 different phones, and it works very well !
There is a bit less animations compared to Brave Browser or Chromium (or maybe they're faster), but it is a bit faster on a Honor 5C.
But it seems that the big difference appears on low end devices : on an old KitKat device, it is way smoother than Brave Browser in scrolling...
Otherwise, thanks for this awesome app ! The night mode is very convenient.
Would it be possible to keep it activated after closing the app ?
I mean, the app remembering that the night mode was on for next time you use it ?
Hello,
Thanks for the nice words about the speed :victory:
I totally see what you mean about the night mode.
The night mode resets on relaunch in order to avoid incoherence (half is in night mode, half is in day mode and that looks quite ugly)
I'm sure there is a way to improve that, once it's improved, then I can remove the reset
I'll ping you on progress,
Just tested it for a few minutes on my most visited sites. With adblocking on, theverge.com doesn't show it's site logo and navigation bar. Hope you could fix that. Thanks. Nice and fast browser.
Noted, I'll fix theverge.com during the week and update you (and also remove this horrible cookie box )
Hello, Google fvcked up full screen video on canary. It doesn't work correctly since months on multiple roms. It just fails to hide the nav bar and status bar. This issue is also there on ur browser and even though it's not ur fvck up, I'd like to ask, if u can try to fix it. I have a OnePlus One currently on LOS 15.1 Oreo. The screenshot is from the video that popped up first when I launched YouTube.com but it is like that on any website.
To get even more crazy, is there anyway to bring back the URL bar at the bottom?
I think I know what it is,
Can you go to chrome://flags in the address bar
and set "New Media Controls" (#enable-new-media-controls) to "Disabled" ?
If that works, then I know what to change by default
I closely followed development of these new media controls (I am working on gestures for media playing), and they seem to be very buggy so I wouldn't be surprised if they were the cause of the fullscreen not ok.
Note: maybe it's not related to media controls, but I strongly suspect it.
Let me know if this solves the problem,
Btw, yes of course I want to fix it that's a major thing
The more I read the answer, the less I'm sure it's the cause
Let me know, I'm very curious on that one if disabling the modern media controls solves it.
Otherwise I'll find a way to reproduce.
Extremely fast and nice :good:
I don't know if it's possible, but any way to bring this kind of tabs?
extension support like yandex will benefit
Nice to see another Chromium fork, especially from my own country! ?
I have some suggestions though:
1) Please consider open-sourcing the browser for trustworthiness and copying (the more forks we have, the better they get)
2) Do consider enabling the flags in chrome://flags instead of target arguments, that would bring an easy overview of what is already enabled and what isn't.
3) I'm not sure how much you changed the ad blocking compared to the built-in one, but the menu has an option "Hide annoying ads" - would it be possible to hide all ads instead?
Is there any way to hide the status bar.. As shown in the screenshots of the browser??
I can't begin to express how much I love this browsers. It is fast, really really fast, like puffin fast. I don't know what you did but its too damn good. I have struggled to get a good browsers which offers the perfect blend of speed adblocking and ui and kiwi provides just that. It didn't took 10 min to make me fall in love with it. The adblocking works as charm. I do have adaway for ads but the cosmetic filtering is what i wanted for ages. Really keep up the good work.

Click to collapse
3) hide annoying ads is probably cosmetic filtering, it hides the blocked ad banner its per site option like in brave. Not sure what you mean, are u asking to rename?

I don't think so, its mostly rom feature called expanded desktop.

If it really is what you claim it to be, yes, a rename would make sense too. For example, "hide ad placeholders".
Otherwise I expected it to be Adblock Plus-style where some ads are whitelisted.

fvck yeah
I'm working on that at the moment (along with Speed Dial and tons of fixes).
The main reason why it's not done yet is that during the switch from Chrome Home to Chrome Duplex, Google moved the code all over the place and refactored almost everything, so it's not just "reviving" the feature, but really to reimplement it.
It's planned, I have a very big (and slippery) phone, and I broke it because of no Omnibox at the bottom (my phone is more slippery than a soap bar).

I have tried, it doesn't render well because the space taken is huge, but it is on the list.
I'll upload some screenshots next week I guess
