One problem
Couldnt unlock SIM! Screen whent off after 10 segs. And asked me every time I turned it on..to put the pin again.
Then I put the SIM in another cellphone, removed pin...and that worked.
Weird.
yeah after some browsing i arrived at the same solution disabling pin in another cellphone i guess it has something to do with the network you´re using and what sim card they use but you should probably fix this, its very annoying

Really the only thing the ICS was the framework introduced here, although this has improved memory management and energy thus providing better performance, improved battery saving 3d and among others and remember this is only the beginning, the intention is to hold all features of ICS.
I am posting a rom already some changes among them my multilingual (22 languages, arabic - brazilian - Czech - Danish - Dutch - English - French - German - Greek - Hebrew - Hungarian - Italian - Korean - Persian - Polish - Portuguese - Russian - Slovenian - Spanish - Turkish - Vietnamese).
I can say that the rom is really excellent and among the highlights are the ability to play WAV and AVI natively.
Before you ask, no, she does not record in 720p, but I'm shooting with the 800x480 LGCam without crashing and with excellent quality.
It's a rom all Miuis as, detail is like never liked the look of this rom Miui use another launcher, but what good is the Miui continues as the player, ger. files, the notification bar, calls firewall, network firewall and proxy in addition to recording conversations natively and also native voip dial.

Graphical Installation Method:
1 - Download the ROM.
2.1-Copy the file downloaded in step 3 to the root of SD card Defy, done that, restart your smartphone and watch the LED NOTIFICATION.
2.2-When the notification LED turns blue, press the volume down, opens a screen with the name ANDROID boot menu, navigate to the volume key until the option Recovery + -> and select it using the button on / off.
2.3- # Recovery -> Select [Latest Recovery] (if any).
2.4-Navigate to the option Install from sdcard zip, open the screen to choose select zip from sdcard.
2.5-Navigate to the folder where the rom is downloaded.
3-Select the desired language for the installation (Warning!! Language is only for the installation, the ROM continues with multiple languages).
3.1-Select the installation method
The Standard, Installation predetermined by me, without too many questionnaires.
B-Custom, you choose various things like overclocking, color leds, Launcher, etc..
3.2-important settings such as:
Full wipe (not necessary if you use ics-miui-dsj then) and No Wipe (option to choose if you already use ics-miui-dsj).
If your phone is Defy or Defy +, etc..
With this installation method you install your new rom in the same way that you install an operating system on your PC, or choose which applications to install or not. So there is no need to install patches to change Launcher, etc.. With a single file you install the Rom way you want without being so bound to my will (or my taste).

Installed but cleaned from GO stuff before install because I had strange behaviors which was caused by GoLauncher... put Zeam instead.
Rom looks very good, it is much faster than miui-us. GPS also steps a category up in this rom.
Wifi is strong and stable, 3G works, BT looks working (not tested but paired).
Wifi tether does not work (tested on 2 defys) gives error after switch on. Usb tether works despite it says it is already connected.
The miui launcher you linked in post #2 to be flashed from recovery is also a no go for me. Gives installation aborted error message in recovery.
Could you look into the rom to fix wifi tether and if possible get a working miui launcher?
Ps: in settings the launcher settings gives FC but it is normal because there is no miui launcher.

Dude, since it does not contain miui launcher therefore the built-in launcher settings force closes normally. Do not touch it.
Did you try wifi tethering instead?
how about the camera and video recording? cmiui gime me choppy videos, keeps lagging and audio out of sync, wonder if this has the same bugs.

if you did the above procedure and not resolved, I recommend starting from scratch (step three of the tutorial instalção).

I've installed this ROM. Fast rom but for me not working data, screen rotation, screen brightness. But everything else is good. Menu fast and smooth, good battery drain. It will be good to see this ROM then the bugs will be fixed

You guys should stop making this kind of ROM. I already left MIUI for MoKeeOS, in now this one is tempting me again. Fortunately my USBs aren't working, so I can't do it in the urge right now, but I'll download it for testing, later.
this looks really nice and i'd like to try it but after flashing i just get a boot loop, i'm not really sure if i installed it incorrectly or what..... is there a specific SBF i should be using for this?

i tried it and i'm still in the same loop, i think the problem is that i cant wipe the dalvick cache. i choose to but when i click the power button the selection bar goes to the top of the screen without doing anything. or it could be that i previously had CM7 installed idk

i know you guys may think it looks like MIUI , but i assure you it's totally different ROM nor MIUI-based modification , and if you have time , please read first pages of all these kind people's reports and feelings about this ROM.
what i think is , every and any ROM is like child to all of us in Android community , and please don't think it is bad or ugly or whatever negative expression you can think of , because nothing is perfect , as MIUI , it is now 71 weeks old , and this one is only 3 weeks old, and for now , MIUI 4.0 does have problems and bugs as well as this one, it has some problems or bugs, but that's how all ROM start, right ?
we are just like bunch of daddies (mommies) here , to help developer to raise (improve) thier child (ROM) , they need you help and report!

watch it , after you decompile the APK file.
go folder ***/res , *** is name of APK file you decompiled
in /res folder you will see folder named "values" and "values-zh-rCN"
and in both folders , there is XML file "string.xml"
first folder contains english, second is for chinese , you have to created a new one names "values-de" in your case , "de" means germany.
and then translate english string.xml and save it into "values-de" folder and then recompile the APK file.
be careful you have to use something like "Notepad++" instead of regular windows's notepad , otherwise you will have encoding problem and it won't work properly.
my tutorial has all tools and how to de/recompile you need
but seriously .... there are over 70 apk files ... .... ...
but perhaps you can review and copy some already translated string from CM7

Power booster is now abe "auto-underclock" to extend stand-by time.

add power manage widget (toggles ?)
"must have apps" rename to "Appex", add classified page for "recommend", "Special", "Game" ...etc (yeah , this part still chinese only ...never mind )
System Optimization:
optimize homescreen dock switch , and free to put 3 to 5 icons. (no sure how to say it ...)
optimize weather widget , 3D scrolling effect
optimize power consumption list, easier way to manage power booster.

1. new status bar UI
2. new ring of bells more suitable to the ROM UI.
update:
1. solved the problem of folders can not be renamed
2. fix the bug in some certain situation, calls dial-in but can not unlock screen.
3. optimize lockscreen process logic, extend stand-by time
4. add un-answered calls count in lockscreen.
may or may not fix the OTA update always report failed.

update kernel (of course we all use 3rd part kernel ...)and improve UI make it more smooth and fast (i feel it much better then 04/01 version , specially turn off the "High quality drawing"), and fix some bugs.

Hi qtwrk in DX-Dialer section a wired bug is that MMI code and SSD code are not working any more, please fix in next version.
Issue: MMI or SSD codes like *123# or *123*1# are not working.

I ported this ROM to the HTC Glacier and it is doing pretty well. I hope to see newer versions of this baby in the future. It's so nice to run something different.
