Samsung Exhibit II 4G / T679 Official ROM

Hello all!
Seems a basic question and I did a search around, but didn't find a exact answer.
I have a Samsung Exhibit II 4G/T679 which came with carrier's ROM. So lots of undesired applications and some blocks (tethering, for example).
Instead of going to a modified ROM (which can be an alternative, of course), I'm wondering if there is available anywhere the official ROM release by Samsung for this model. Since there is the unlocked model from Samsung, I assume there is a official ROM from them (carrier independent).
Does anybody know where to download this official ROM?
Thanks!
If I am not mistaken, no. But we have some great Roms for this phone check them out. Trust me you don't want stock.

Thanks for your answer!
I wanted the stock mainly because some applications that I use explicitly say they don't run on "rooted or moded roms". So installing one of those customs roms would prevent me from using those applications. Maybe installing the stock one released by Samsung (on unlocked phones) the application would accept that.
Any idea or suggestion?
Seems obvious, but link was not so easy to find...
Here is the stock ROM for this model (attention: not carrier shipped, but manufactured shipped, rooted):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Samsung_Exhibit_II_4G#Flash_Back_to_Stock
In my case it's still not the right solution since I have a carrier-shipped ROM and I would need to have this ROM back if they need to provide any service.

How is it not the right solution?
What applications are you trying to keep on stock ROM that you're convinced won't work on a custom ROM

Because my phone has the carrier-custom ROM, not the clean manufacture one.
So if I have to send the phone back to carrier, they will notice the ROM was changed. This one I couldn't find...
I'm thinking about using CWM Recovery to backup the ROM. But... then the CWM will replace original Recovery System, so it's a signal that ROM was changed too...

It's my office app. Somehow they have explicit lock on custom or rooted phones (maybe for security). I already tried to install on another moded phone and it doesn't work. Only with factory or recognized ROMS.
I don't know how they identify that... but it happens!
I have an ODIN Stock ROM for the SE2, when thats flashed it takes away root and completly restores the phone to out of the box state.
want it?
The carrier is Tmobile.

Thank you very much. Did you produce this ROM? I was unable to find anywhere...
No I didnt.
Iv had it in my downloads folder foreverr and I use it alot for when I soft brick and need to use a jig.
Since the jig puts my phone into download/ODIN mode, Iv always saved that folder cause it is ODIN friendly.
Why don't you just flash to what ever you wont and not worry about it and then if you were to have to ship it back to to t-mobile just use the directions here http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Samsung_Exhibit_II_4G and flash back to stock. Because I am sure that is what he is uploading.

Bricked P-6200 Advice Please

The worst has happened and it's all my fault
Having not used my Galaxy Tab for some weeks (I've been using my SGS III) I updated to the latest Brazillian ICS firmware and for a stupid reason did a factory rest which has resulted in me bricking my Tab.
I am now getting a boot loop on the screen that states it's a Galaxy Tab Plus, I can get into download mode but not recovery.
Having read a number of posts of similar problems, have tried flashing a .pit file and firmware but still no joy. It seems that it may have to be a trip to the Samsung Service Centre. Thankfully in download mode it is still showing a stock firmware with a zero counter.
Would be interested for any experiences on people who have had to return it to a service centre and whether I may get any potential problems as it was bought off ebay around 6 months ago and is the P-6200L model.
Any help is appreciated :good:
I'm not sure about this but u may try to flash cm10.. firstly download pit file and Odin then u flash the pit file.. also download cwm and cm10 then flash cm using cwm.. then wait for the device to reboot.. it works for me.. ^_^

I had the same thing yesterday.... If I look at the article there is a link there to an article and if you read that I see the advise to flash the original firmware through Odin maybe you can give that a try? I haven't had the change yet... but will try this afternoon... If that doesn't work I will also try aorth's post and if that fails I going back to the service center....

Have tried flashing a variety of different firmwares for my P6200 even the .pit files but still no luck.
Have spoken to a pleasant customer services gentleman who's arranged for me to return it and have it repaired under warranty.
Must make mental note to self NOT to do a factory reset via the default recovery option ever again

I tried the ICS from samfirmware through Odin, but no luck... The last option is to try and "downgrade" to Honeycomb (through Odin) if that fails I will go back to service...

Tried using Heimdall earlier but can't get it to recognise my device, neither will Kies now...back to Samsung is my only chance now!!!
Dude I had the same Problem. Flashed I've again with odyn and wiped everything 4-5times
I've given up... device will be sent back to service desk today for repair. Hopefully under waranty as I didn't root yet nor flashed a custom rom... I did, however, install CWM 6.0.0.8, but I guess that is not an issue (can anybody confirm?)
U need to change to stock recovery, my waranty was void and need to pay $170 due to there change to the new board.

Did I Brick It??

I tried using Odin to install a version of 4.1.2 on my s3.. It failed on odin.. I apparently had the wrong file now I cant get into download or recovery mode.. It starts for a second saying loading recovery with the samsung logo then all goes black .. Has some vibrations to it but cant turn in on or connect or even show battery charge on the screen.. Any help to get into any screen would help...
It sounds like a download mode jig should work if you go out and buy one. I'm probably not the 100% best source though.
And that may be a misspell, but there are no 4.1.2 ROMs available to flash in Odin.

No you will just have to wait for the OTA which will be a while. Scratch that there a few custom ROMS runing 4.1.2 you will have to check the forums for them.
So, the reason for not needing a jtag was that it failed in odin?

Use my Titanium to hopefully bring back what I can.. if not no big deal at least my phone isn't bricked.. I can get back into my phone now but the recovery mode still won't work.. As long as he can at least get to download mode his phone can fix it. Odin can also unbrick phones as long as download mode is functioning. Jtag is just unbricking via hardware and it should only be used as a last resort(hard brick). Download jig should only be used if Odin doesn't work. Even samsung has a tutorial on how to unbrick your phone via hardware.

I think you're confused. Flash an international ROM in recovery and see how that turns out (JTAG). So it would stand to reason had the Odin of an international ROM succeeded you would get same results. So then it failing would seem to be why it's only soft bricked.

[Q] hard brick after twrp reboot

I hard bricked my schi535 after installing rootbox-JB-t0llt-x.x
I had tried a couple of rootbox roms they all did the same thing. I never got past the first screen. I could get back into twrp and flash my 4.1.1 rom. Last attempt was probably a wrong phone

No, a USB jig won't work in this case.
Mobile Tech Videos seems to be reliable. Other users have suggested an eBay source that was only $30. Just look around the forums and see if anything useful comes up.

If you can get into download mode you can try reflashing the stock firmware for the 4.4.2 OTA.
You can download that file with this link ---> http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2813348&d=1403524170
