Where is the email sync peak/off peak settings with what days of the week and times? - Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE

I just moved from a Samsung Epic 4G phone to the Photon Q 4G LTE phone and can't find where the settings are to set PEAK/OFF-PEAK email sync settings days of the week and times. It's on this phone somewhere right?

All I've seen so far is the frequency with which you check email. I have mine at to every 4hrs.

Probably thinking of smart actions, pull it up in the app drawer. You can set sync & various other actions depending on location, time of day, battery level, etc...

Ahh..getting closer. I see how you can setup ALL data to stop syncing at certain times using the smart actions app. I just wish you can set a specific email account to stop syncing at certain times on certain days like I could on the stock EPIC 4G

Do you know if the LED lights go back to full brightness after I turn on my screen?

No they don't. They stay at the setting in the app. Paul put it out its quality
Edit: this should be in the Q&A section

If your using the app, yes the service MUST run. If its built into the kernel\ROM like CM7, then you dont even need the app
You shouldn't be running a task killer anyway. Android manages its services by itself killing system apps on a regular basis can make apps that need to be running in the back ground start again wasting battery. Plus your phone will act strange after awhile. You shouldn't use them.
Again this belongs in Q&A

Moved to proper forum.
Too bad I didn't read this thread earlier, I figured this out on my own today, doing the same thing, I changed my brightness to 1 (the lowest it would stay lit) , I do think this would definitely help out on battery life.

The Touch Key Lights app DOES NOT works properly with
1) Cyan 7 mod
I am using stock Android now, it works like a charm
One touch, and the program changes the value FOREVER (even after reboots, after I re-insert the battery...)

Turn off 3G data, bluetooth, GPS, and wifi when not using it.
Try charging to 100% with tab switch on, once at 100% pull charge lead out and power down tab, then with tab switch off plug charger in again and charge to 100% once thats done unplug charger then boot and use tab as normal.
On my tab witch is rooted and using custom rom i find 3G Data eats my battery very fast but with it off my tab lasts a lot lot longer.
3g is a huge battery hog. I don't use it very often. I get 2-3 days poor of mine which includes 10+ hours of stereo Bluetooth per day and then 3 hours of 3g internet browsing. Also, having the screen off most of the time helps lol.

Sell it ?
You must have a rogue Tab or doing something wrong.
As I'm typing this, I'm at 60% left and Tab has been unplugged for 57 hours according to Battery Indicator Pro, and I never turn off wifi, set sleep policy to "never", cause I have Gmail, calendar, Email app and other stuff like Google+, seesmic and so forth syncing automatically. Ofcourse 3g is turned off, don't have a plan yet.
Battery life on this thing is amazing.

Hi Try updating to Gingerbread
Use the bellow link and resources -

You Battery life will improve lot.
Have a Good Time.

How much data does auto refresh on a weather widget use?

When you have a weather widget set to auto refresh, how much internet data does that use exactly each time it refreshes?
I've been trying to find a nice weather/clock widget with custom skins that usual a manual refresher instead of an auto refresh but all the best one seem to use an auto refresh system.
I only get 500mb each month, how much would an auto refresh widget use out of that?
Get 3g watch dog off the market. Since it'll be text info to be parsed by the widget, probably around 1 to 2Kb.
3g watchdog I'd pretty good almost

No, how would it do that?
Its a monitor for data traffic...
When my phone isnt moving and isnt getting used id like to see what its firing up the 3g to send out data to.
Sent from my PG06100 using XDA App
Get yourself a firewall to monitor what accesses the net. No experience with those, though. You can also use juice defender to turn off data when you're not using the phone.

Power Save app and Timer & Clock widgets

There is a link to download: http://www.xperiablog.net/
just extract the rar and install each apk.
thanzzzzz for share
Power save app from Xperia Ray is easiest way to turn on/of power save mode.
The timer would be a good app if it alerted you at the end of the countdown
Uninstalled! Clock...Uninstalled! Gonna try the powersave app tonite and see how that works out.
i can't get into the link...can somebody post a direct link to the file please..
nvm..i got it already from here

Well I gave the powersave app a go last nite and its really nothing different than what ive been doing, but it does it all in one shot so im keeping it.
It turns off background data/wifi/animations/gps/bluetooth as well as turns brightness down to 0. I would normally do all that stuff manually (except for animations, which ive always left on) and my battery life is excellent! 2 days on a single charge easy, 3 days once.

How so? I tried it two ways, once with the screen not locked....all it did was flash the start/stop button green, didn't make any audible sound.
Once with the screen locked, it didn't even turn the screen on, make a sound, nothing.

Long-press on the comment. There is no visual, audible, or haptic feedback but it will open a context menu letting you delete or edit it.

That it is definitely not. Any errors will be due to the Facebook app.
It doesn't happen all the time but yeah in Facebook when I focus a comment field sometimes the keyboard appears and then immediately disappears. Another major gripe I have with Facebook on this phone is that the graphic assets seem to be made for a lower res than this phone and so aren't as crisp as they should be. Especially the app icon in GEL. [/OT]
wake lock on Facebook is not good.

FB app is a hog. I've had to tweak it to disable a couple of the services and also the startups so it doesn't kill battery. So far it does pretty good. I use Xposed and use BootManager to have it not load on startup, as well as ReceiverStop and kill a couple Receivers (appwidget_update and connectivity_change) so it just kills background stuff, not the actual app functions.

My facebook app doesnt drain at all weirdly, I set it to refresh every hour, notifications and messages always on, and sync turned off. Often appearing as the last or second last app on my battery stats at the end of the say with about 3% total usage, and yes I do use it, alot!
