Is possible to use WP7 Roms on Nexus s? If yes, which rom?

Windows phone 7.x?
I guess never.
There is no driver for exynos(hummingbird).
Instead, you can theme..

I say there will NOT be a wp7 rom in the foreseeable future, since wp7 is closed source, and lisenced by microsoft. as the post above said, yes, you can theme it, but underneath it is still android. if you want the wp7 feel, try launcher 7, it works just like wp7. hope this helps

Am i the only one that would like to see a sense rom on our G2x? I think it would look pretty sick. I know we are early in the development stages, but do you guys think we will get one? If so what port or sense like rom would you LOVE to see on this device.
Sense was cool for a few days for me but i don't prefer it. Now i like the pure androidness But the g2x is pretty popular so i'm sure we'll have a sense rom.
There is a sense launcher

AFAIK Sense is built specifically for HTC hardware specs and there is no source code for it so porting it over would be extremely hard.
Just ordered the G2x , switching from blackberry
Hi,
I had enough of blackberry and enough of AT&T so im switching to Android . Soooo.. What is Sense rom and touchwiz?
Sense is the custom interface HTC puts on all their phones. Touchwiz is Samsungs UI. They do it to try and set their phones apart from one another in a market full of android phones. You dont have to use them though if you dont like them.

I'm pretty sure you can put the TouchWiz Launcher on any phone. I'm almost positive that I had installed it on my Nexus One but removed that crap within seconds.
I know for a fact I installed LG's launcher too.
Most of that stuff isn't anything but a bunch of fluff. While I prefer Stock, I do know that Sense is actually built into the rom more ways then one and you have to have the whole rom built around it.

Didn't they release a sense sdk and make it open source? Or did they just give devs tools/apis to develop for it?

i think they jsut gave out an sdk to make apps that will only work on sense devices.
if you like sense try out go launcher. it has much of what sense does without the lag. the weather app and live wallpaper is as awesome as sense(maybe not as the new weather animations) dont know but they are pretty good.
kinda a mix betwen muiu/apple and sense. its a really good launcher and has all accompaning apps to go with it.
Not another freaking thread about sense rom's... (trolling moment)

+1 for the idea
Its very possible, as long as you have lawyers on par with microsofts
Will any one even be attempting a port?
I wouldn't bet on it. It would have to be completely written from the ground up besides being a closed source OS.

Are there developers to making miui rom?
I don't think MiUi would work on a tablet. I maybe wrong but i haven't seen it anywhere except on the 7" ones as they can be used in portrait

I ever seen on youtube. On Nexus 7, KindleFire, and HP Touch pad. But, the UI becomes Phone UI. Indeed, MIUI ROM does not fit on the tablet. And I hope to miui developers to change it into a tablet ui.
I'm sorry with my bad english grammar!

Ah but they're all 7 inch... Except the TouchPad. I don't think the devs will do it. However its pretty simple to do if you have AOSP ICS

Actually. I was gonna say use AOSP and there's a guide in Android General of how to port MiUi to your device.

I have a Nexus 5 32 GB and I was wondering if it is possible to put HTC Sense 6 on the Nexus 5. I really like Blinkfeed and I cannot find any applications that mimic the functionality of blinkfeed. Does anybody know of a ROM I can flash or any applications that mimic the functionality of blinkfeed.
you can not, and no.

HTC Sense is NOT open source. It's proprietary.

android is open source, sense is not. sense is owned and controlled by htc, and needs htc's framework to run it. since sense isnt open source, you have no access to its code. porting it is very time consuming, and is always partially and imperfect(if you can get it to run at all). its so time consuming and difficult, that for 99.9999% of people its not worth wasting their time trying to port it.

Oh OK sounds right. Do you know of any apps that can mimic the functionality of blinkfeed.
I've not seen any yet to be honest. Just keep an eye on the "android apps and games" forum on xda as most cool new apps end up there.
