Audio problem - Distored audio when recording video or voice recording? - Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G

Hi, I've had my Blaze for about a week and I'm having problem with garbled and distorted audio while recording video or using the voice recorder. I can barely hear the sound and when I do hear it, it seems as it drops out and sounds weird -- I'd best describe it like when you hear distorted audio with corrupted MP3's or videos. I've tried to troubleshoot but I can't figure out if I'm doing something wrong. I've changed the recording quality to a lower setting for video. I tried the same for the voice recording (from .amr to .3gp). I thought maybe the included SD card was too slow so I tried switching my old Class 6 SD card. I also tried recording to the phone instead of the SD card. I tried taking the back off to make sure the microphone isn't obstructed. I tried playing the files on my computer to make sure it was a recording problem and not a phone playback problem. Nothing changes.
I don't have any problems watching videos such as from YouTube. I don't think it's a hardware problem because I don't have problems on phone calls -- I assume it uses the same microphone? The video records fine -- no dropouts or framerate problems. It's just a problem with the audio. I've done the latest update and the problem's still there. My brother bought a phone at the same time I did and I tried his and it seems to have the same problem. I know I've seen videos recorded by the Blaze in reviews and on YouTube and they seem fine.
Any ideas? Thanks!

[Q] Galaxy S cannot record WAVs?

Hey all,
I've had my Captivate since launch... and I just noticed a weird problem. Can any of you get any WAV recording applications to work?
I've tried MicDroid and Hertz Wave Recorder... both generate WAVs that are significantly shortened and chopped up, and sometimes unreadable.
Voice Recorder records AMR's fine, and another Voice Recorder app I tried recorded 3gp audio OK. Just seems like recording uncompressed WAVs are a problem with Galaxy S devices (and my Captivate in particular).
Why is this? Does it work for anyone?

Bluetooth lag still present with Wifi turned off

I tried pairing the Infinity with my newly purchased LG HBS-700 headset.

The sound quality is fantastic, but unfortunately, the audio is siginificantly out of sync with any video. I first tried Youtube which resulted in delayed audio in all the videos. I read on here that people were having issues because Bluetooth and Wifi on this device share the same antenna. I then tried watching a 1080p mkv from a Class 10 microSD card using BS Player. This resulted in the same audio delay. I then turned off Wifi and reopened the movie file. The audio delay was the same. So it appears that the Bluetooth lag we are experiencing is independent of Wifi usage. I really hope this is fixable as I bought this headset with the Infinity in mind.
I should point out that I then tested the headset with my Galaxy Nexus. I streamed the same Youtube videos with good results. There might be some lag, but it is so small that I can hardly detect it.
For those of you with Bluetooth audio headsets or speakers, use this Youtube clip to gauge your audio lag.

With my Galaxy Nexus, the clap sound is around the 0 mark. With the Infinity, the clap sound is at +3 or +4.
Bump for anyone who can test this.
I just paired my LG HBS-700s to my Galaxy Tab 10.1. And guess what?
NO AUDIO LAG!
With my Galaxy Tab, Youtube audio is spot on as well. No problem with Wifi and Bluetooth running simultaneously. This tells me that this must be a software issue on the Infinity that needs fixing ASAP.
I have a Jam box and I can confirm that the audio is out of sync 1~2 secs on all apps (games, YouTube, Google music, etc).
Same apps with my Gnexus no lags.

[Q]External microphone while videorecording

I am thinking about buying an external microphone for the HTC sensation, mostly because the sound of our phone is ****ty while video recording.
I have done some research about the microphone but i haven't been able to find one that supports video recording.
Does anyone know which microphone works on android/sensation?

No audio output - only on standard phone calls

Hello all,
I have a very weird issue on my Mi4. There is no audio output from any app (Media player, Whats-app, Skype, Youtube, etc. )regardless if it's the phone's speaker or if there are headphones. There is simply no audio. But here is the crazy thing - the microphone works so i can send audio messages on whatsapp for example or record my voice but can't hear them back. Also the only audio output i get both from the loudspeaker and headset is from a standard phonecall. Anything else is simply mute. No sound at all.
I've tried scouring the internet for a problem like this but haven't found anything. I've tried a lot of things short of reflashing the rom. But if someone can come up with a better solution i'd be more than happy to try it.
Thanks
Update: I flashed another ROM and the problem persists.
