Looking for someone to port PDroid over to ICS on the note N7000, has anyone done it yet? Im not perticular about which rom its ported to just looking for an ICS version, currently im on Stock LPY, i was speaking to the Dev on the ICS port thread and he said it was possible but i lack the technical knowledge to do the port myself. I know of at least 1 person who had it on GB 2.3.6 on the note but not ICS

Not exactly the answer you're after but PDroid works on CM9 using the linux patcher.

This is a port of of MIUI from Sensation with CM9.1 as base. i have not tested everything so if something doesnt work well......hopefully you have a fix..lol

yeah i did but it went out again like couple minutes after
did the auto select network and it came back
Well it looks like there are a few bugs....no super user and auto rotate is wierd apps force landscape mode but if you open the keyboard you can go to portrait if you flip the phone. I will see what I can do but if anyone knows a fix for these issues let me know
Haven't flashed the ROM yet but last I recall, Miui has its own version of Superuser to manage root access to apps. Are your apps not able to gain root access if required?
Correct. I think I have found fixes for these errors and I will try to release it today. The superuser fix seems pretty easy but the autorotate issue is a little more difficult. I need to decompile the android.policy.jar but I'm having trouble with it

I'm getting this phone in a few days so I wanna get MIUI. How is this rom compared to MikMiui. Which would be a good rom? I'll be using it as a daily driver. Thank you.

This is a port of MIUI.us V4 2.12.28 for the Blaze that I ported from the Official MIUI.us V4 2.12.28 for the galaxy SII-SGH-T989
Rom is very stable and I am using as a daily driver. Gapps are installed in this port because I had to work to find all the correct files
that would work with this port. With that said, feel free to try any others you may want but be warned that some may cause issues so keep
track of what you flash or change.. JB Control panel is installed. Also I left both the legacy camera and the miui camera installed and the
legacy gallery and miui gallery.. feel free to remove whichever you want or keep them all it's up to you..
I will start a thread in the Q&A forum for rom discussion and to post any non development related issues and questions...
as always make a backup before flashing..

i thought he changed his name to racing 19969...sorry,,,pardon me but now that i have your attention i am getting numerous fc with messages and miui.us laucher...dont wanna change the rom maybe i will wait to flash but i like the change as the roms though tweaked are still similar in alot of ways,,,,

agreed lol, but i remember a super stripped down sense miui for the sensation. hypermiui... the battery life on that rom was insane.

Now im using it.
Many bugs.
- Trying to select a trusted virus database ends up in a force close
- Top leftbar is misplaced
- USB Mount not working
- Internal Memory in About Phone not showing correctly
- There is no keybord when im trying to write a message.
Is it sense based ? Try opening the camera ?

Who want to test my ported carbon rom?i made that rom based on pac rom using the simplest method of porting custom rom and editing build.prop..i need tester to take logcat for that rom..i use it for about 2 weeks already..

see my signature to test carbon rom.. to port your own rom, take a base rom from our device and then take the desired rom that you want to port from other devices (ex from s2) and follow this guide.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1908008

Thank you so much for this porting, I just installed and works way better than stock jelly bean. I can't find someone talking about a couple of issues I found, one with games, I use only fruit ninja but it lags really much, expecially when touching the screen, and one with videos, with default video player and with vlc I can't see any video, but I can hear audio with no problems (youtube works like a charm). Probabily there's something related between the two issues, but I'm no developer so I can't tell it

I tried to port roms but when I used latest CM10.1 nightly,it was stuck in bootanimation. When I used your rom or 21/7 CM10.1 build as base,most of them were successfully ported. I tried many kind of roms and always like that. Can you figure it out?

By latest you mean 31/08 build? If yes, then I think you're gonna have to change the kernel (boot.img) because it caused some problems as stated by diego. Replace the boot.img with the one from 30/08 build.

Nope,I used 30/8 build and didn't successful. So I used Carbon rom as base and replace boot.img and some lib files for OMX issues from 30/8 build. After that I can successfully ported many roms and no glitches in UI,OMX is fixed. I don't know why I can't use the whole files of latest CM. Any solution? BTW thanks for your answer

twice already installed still no stk, then ask google, search xda, ,,, and voila!!!
stk appear on drawer by activation sim pin
