[MODEM] CWM flashable MTD modems - Samsung Infuse 4G

I have made a package to flash modems to infuse 4g MTD roms. I will be posting the CWM flashable zips on this thread. Any modems posted after uclb3 will not be personally tested by me. I think I got this process down and dont need to test them. If you find one that doesn't work let me know.
BTW: These should work on ANY of the mtd roms for Infuse4g

Sorry about the download confusion guys, hazard66 is correct go to file then click download, you should download zip file.
I can't vouche for performance of these. I only tested a few and just to see that they get signal lock. I have been running uckk1 for a good while now, it seems to perform as it did on ics.
I updated my UCLB3 package to include the exact same version that is in scott hart's cm10. Thanks go out to scott for allowing me to pull it from his rom. [ROM][JellyBean][4.1.1]Unofficial CM10 - Updated CM10 8/31 Butter - MTD - OC Kernel
The SGS 4G modems I pulled from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192436. They needed to be padded like the infuse modems and put in my installer pack.
I now realize that I might be stepping on toes rereleasing some of these. So, if you feel I owe you credit for one of these modems just PM me and I would gladly give you credit for your great good work. Although I had to change these modems so it doesn't resemble your modem much.
One more thing DO NOT try to flash these on any BML rom(Pre jellybean so far, Although I'm hearing that there may be MTD ICS soon). They will not work.
All of the Infuse modems above (besides UCKD5) I got from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1342978

Can't download. All I see are the files inside the zip. What am I doing wrong?

Upper left hand corner by modem name: File - download

Using the JB browser that menu doesn't come up. But, if you bring up it's options, you select Request Desktop, then the file menu shows up.

to dl from your phone tick "request desktop site" in whatever browser you are using

General suggestion and question:
Even though modem usage and efficiency vary per user, if possible, can general descriptions of each modem's attributes be included in the OP for newbs like me? Thanks!

I am at the same question Antonyvijai.
How can I put this on my phone (AT&T 2.2 KB1 Froyo + Root + Supercurio's KB1 + Voodoo + CWM Recovery)
If I need to deodex, a link to a how to would be awesome!
Question 2, does flashing this mod remove any themeing I have installed?

Absolutely. Having a guide will help us a lot. Last thing we need is an hard bricked captivate

Ok, I googled the phrase "deodex android".
It looks like the 3rd result is a HOW-TO (it is titled that anyway). So I am off to read this! I'll let you know what happens later.
I still need to know if flashing this mod will wipeout my matted blue theme!
Thanks!
UPDATE:
I read the link. I am going to try this, however, I do not have the time right now (have a "real" job I am late for already!) If anyone tries this, post here to let us know the result!

That I know / understand now! So, won't have that question anymore. In the adb shell command I see it is referring to ext3. I flashed voodoo lagfix injected kernel and somewhere I read it changes it to ext4 or something like that ..is it something I need to watch at least or it doesn't matter too! Wanting to rom my sgs4g

I'm a newbie on the board here, but anyway, I hear a lot of good things about changing the rom on your phone, but my question is what rom do I use? Can I use any custom samsung galaxy rom? Is there a difference?

Use roms only in the SGS4G Dev Section. Any others will brick.

Only things on the S 4G dev section can be used. Vibrant Roms will brick your phone.
Use Krylons CWM not Rom managers
Before you do anything.... if you brick your phone (e.g - bootloop, brick screen, etc.), DO NOT freak out. You will most likely be able to fix it. Just search for Odin and use that to get your phone back to normal.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1117554
Check out the Bible. I recommend you check out the Odin flashing guide, then pick out an Odin ROM from the Bible.
Once you have root, you can install CWM and then you can start trying out some of the CWM ROMs. Fun fun. Don't worry, if anything goes wrong you can always just post back. Don't forget to make a backup of anything you don't wanna lose (right now that'd be pretty much just your SD Card)
Thanks for the great info. One more question, is the i9000 the same as the galaxy s 4g?

Also sextons ext4 and many more like robbitt, blkphoenix and others all have a bevel of goodies to make ur phone a kick a$$ beast! Most of all read. As far as I know, there was really only one true CWM -flashable modem available, and I thought that was EC05 because it came with an official release. I think all the other 'leaked' modems have to be Odin'd, but I'm not 100% on that one.
I was able to see a a bunch of files listed yesterday. Now all I'm getting when selecting the categories is "Empty Directory" ("Noting available at this time").
Where the files removed or is this an issue with my app/connection?

Ok. Now I see items on the list again. But, I didn't see anything when I tried this morning up until about 5 minutes ago. Same thing happened yesterday (and the day before?).
"Install Theme" had no items listed. Neither did any other categories. Anyhow, it seems to be ok now, but just wondering if there are any issues with my app or connection that may be causing this.
Thanks.
Maybe it was being updated...

That's what I was thinking. Thanks John. Guess I'll post again if this happens more often.
If it's being updated, then it's being updated all the time. 9/10 times that I check for roms, kernels, modems etc etc etc it tells me nothing could be found. Just tried again, 15 seconds after I got an empty report and I see things.
Seems like a bug to me.

[MODEM][Odin + CWM] KJ3 Modem [2011-10-11]

I am not responsible if you brick your phone.
This is ONLY the modem, not a full ROM.
I take no credit for this, I only extracted the modem.bin from the KJ3 ROM leak and made it into an Odin and CWM package.
Here is the new KJ3 modem in Odin and CWM flashable form. Simply flash with Odin (in the PDA slot), or use the CWM package. Enjoy!

You're most welcome! Its the least I could do to give back to the devs who do so much for us (and our phones)!
I think the CWM link is down. Can we get a mirror? Or can someone confirm that they're getting this too?
Unable to load CWM link.

Cant load ODIN link either. Crappp. Got all excited when I saw that the wifi was at least a bit better XD
Something must be up with MediaFire, uploading to a mirror now.

Was just doing my rounds on the various forums I visit.
By the way, MegaUpload mirrors are up.

Thanks man! Can't wait to try this one out!
_______________ Edited Below_____________
Tested out the wifi a bit here between KI3 and KJ3, Here is what I got.
Using Wifi Analyzer I tested the connections in -dBm, so the higher number is best (Ex: -34 is better than -54)
I disconnected and reconnected 10 times, and took the numbers I got each time. Then Averaged them.
I am in my bedroom, and my router is in the living room, so I'm not far from it, but I'm not in the same room either (Small Apt)
Also all tests were done with the phone in the exact same spot on the corner of my desk.
Keep in mind results may vary, and these results really don't have THAT much of a difference...
KI3 averaged -69 dBm
HJ3 averaged -76 dBm
That's almost no difference, at least for me.

Enjoy!

Very nice contribution! Don't know why we didn't think of this earlier, bravo!
Also, may I recommend adding in the Blaze4G modem? I'll upload it for you if need be.

I did but the upload failed and I didn't have the time to do it again plus I think the original link for the blaze4g modem still works. But I will mirror it when I get the chance
