Has anyone seen anywhere when the TF700T is supposed to be officially getting the JB update from ASUS?
I've been watching our dev. section and it seems the development has kind of stalled out for JB ROMs and I'm assuming it's because of an immanent release of JB from ASUS?
ASUS will post on Facebook/Twitter when their official OTA comes out. They are very vocal about their new software and even their new hardware on social media.

Far as I or anyone else can tell JB for Infinity is like an area 51 secret.
You can see where it might be stored, yet you can't get close enough to photograph it.
Lol thanks guys. And what makes you think it'll be here mid-this month?

Probably something to ask in the development forum. I think one of the managers of CyanogenMod actually got one of these things and they're planning on fully supporting it.

No problems there . It is just annoying how upset some people get over these things. I will still mess with it. I am starting with compiling for my phone since I don't have to unlock it and know the hardware is working.
So back to the actual topic. Would it be easiest to base cm10 off of the one for the tf201 and use the kernel from asus for the tf700? Or would that not work?

That's my plan. We will have to mess around with the nvidia prop files to see what works best. Unfortunately, I can't unlock my TF700 atm due to the bug that many others are experiencing. So, I can't do much until that is fixed.

Too bad, sorry for that .I can't wait to see a CM on the Infinity and this damn bug or whatever it is is keeping us from have it.I've seen a lot of guys in the TF300T forum having the same issue (my wife's tf300t unlocked just fine and hope my tf700 will do it too) and some said that doing a factory restor and starting the tablet without any account did the trick, others said that doesn't worked for them and who tried to contact Asus for this got this answer " they do not support any issues that customers are having with the unlock tool" .Sandly seems that the only way for now is to ask a replacement because the device doesn't receive OTA updates (also it seems that who is affected by the bootloader unlock also doesn't receive OTAs) and hope you will get a new one that works.
i don't mean to rush the CM team, but is there any word of anyone working on a port for this device?

I did this and would not recommend it to anyone :
1.On the ft300t jellybean the brightness is always 100 % and there is no way of turning it down ( store apps can only mask it)
2.Due to the screen brightness thing and not beeing optimized for the 700t jb burns through the battery like crazy (30-40 % per hour)
3. While not completely impossible ( I did it) going back to ics is a pain in the ass and has the risk of hardbricking the device
4. as far as i can tell we have an AOSP alpha release imminent

Totally agree with you. Asus will come through with an upgrade for the TF700T just as they said they would. There may be a few bugs in the release as there has been with each release of an upgrade with the TF101 and TF201 but thats to be expected. I for one am waiting for the official release. No since in getting over worked up about a tablet upgrade considering every thing else thats going on in our world.

+1. I'd much rather they do a fully qualified version that is mostly solid and addresses a lot of the issues with ICS (i.e. a few bugs but no show stoppers), I'm tired of stuff with major flaws. There aren't really any JB specific things I simply must have right now that would make an unstable release (or wedging a version for different device onto it LOL) worth it for me.

I don't think there is any news regarding the JB update for the tf700. To me, this is actually a good news, because ASUS can take time to ensure that the update works properly. After reading all the complaints after the JB update for the tf300 (it breaks so many things on the tf300), I can only thank God for not having this kind of early update on my tf700. For now, I am very happy with ICS and don't mind waiting, especially when my tf700 is already very good.

Asus Sweden just announced that Jelly Bean is out for TF201, what about TF700? anyone heard anything?
Google translate
"ASUS Sweden
Finally it's time for all Transformer Prime TF201 users to get their beloved flat upgraded to the latest version of Android, namely Version 4.1 aka Jellybean.
To think about the upgrade: Adobe Flash removed and this is Google's decision. You will not be able to find Adobe Flash in Google Play market.
However, it is still possible to download flash from elsewhere: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
If you had flash intallerat before firmware update will support flash remain.
WiFi Direct is also removed.
No TF201 users will be forced to update to Jellybean."
"ASUS Sverige

i think it's bullcrap our Infinity's aka "flagship" is last to receive. you would think we would be first.
There is two ways to this
Be first but its more probable to be buggy and a subpar build
Or be last and let the others be the testers and hope to get a higher quality build from what they learned

I don't believe the TF201 was clocked at 1.6Ghz to begin with. That said, this is the TF700 forum, so you may find more specific answers on your devices forum. In the Index, its just referred to as the prime.

The Prime was clocked at 1.4GHz stock, but with the release of EZOverclock it could be boosted up to 1.6GHz, as it was in the kernel code but was disabled by Asus. The kernel was updated in JB and they likely removed the 1.5GHz and 1.6GHz modes which is why you can't use those speeds anymore.
I know some other people already answered this but I just wanted to give a bit more background info on it.
