[Q] Playing ALAC via HTC Sense stock musicplayer???

Hi Guys.
I recently bought a HTC Desire S, and is pretty thrilled about it, meaning both the android OS, and the HTC Sense UI.
But - HTC Sense doesn't support ALAC (Apple Lossless Audio Codec), which sucks for me bigtime, as I think the Sense-music player is as good as it gets, pretty much. And, since much of my music is in that format.
I also use HTC Sync to put music on my device, which is pretty smooth because of the iTunes-playlist support.
I know there is a bunch of other players on the market (currently using poweramp), that could solve my problem, but I would prefer using the Sense-musicplayer, because of it's simplicity and smooth UI.
In other words, please don't just advise me to use another app, since I'm already aware they're available
My question is then;
Is there a way to get HTC Sense to support ALAC-playback??

Beats by Dr Dre

possible to include it on 2.3.5 / sense 3.5 ??
maybe someone could tell me compatibility ROM's ??
Sound experience !!
Don't think so, and it's not worth the hassle. Just use a decent media player that has an EQ in it and tweak it yourself
We'll just have to wait for a new 3.5 device with the beats audio in it, then when the ROM leaks, and a genius developer ports it to the sensation, then we would have it!

Please Import Acid Audio Technology .

Developers please try your level best to import this audio feature in our phone. It would be a great achievement like the rest u all did yet! :good: :good:
Please delete this thread or close, reply first for any future hope! :cyclops:
its already ported. i dont know where is a link, but rom tester realised It 2 month before
okay......i tested acid audio tech...
but the bass and treble felt way....way lighter ........not much punch in bass .....everthing felt VERY......light and soft.. bass wasnt strong enough...
imo dsp manager is the way to go..(personal opinion tho )
I found the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1893554&page=1
i use it whit cm9 and 10 and working only DSP manager need restart (only firs time)
I knw the links.....latest is version 5 in their official website.
but for samsung devices, they have Version 4 for now with basic features but still awesome (future? i don't know)
I just wanted to know if a Developer could try and import in one of the custom roms cm9 or cm10 as both are compatible with acid audio.

[Q] N5 Global Sound EQ

Hey Y'all.
A friend and I have severe hearing deficiencies. I have one hearing aid and my buddy has two. Not deaf, but close.
Unfortunately, we're also passionate about sound. But that's second. I'm really hoping this hasn't been covered somewhere I missed. I've searched and searched, but:
Primarily, I'm looking for a global sound EQ for android...but I need to be specific. 10 Bands is just enough to do change what I need to change. The main thing here is globally applicable settings and specific frequency adjusting.
Any pointers from me? I've played around in Android development, but not enough to implement my own graphical EQ.
Neutron is easily my favorite music player on android, but it's not global. All the equalizers I've seen on android so far have been like 5-band. Nice, but I need to be specific on the higher and lower registers for all audio output on the phone.
On this phone (N5) specifically, I'm completely stock and need to stay unrooted for a small while, but not so on my galaxy nexus.
Thanks guys.
I would want one too. Not for your reasons, but just for sound quality. I use viper4android now, but it only works in the music player app. I wish there was something that was global across all apps.
I also know only about viper audio and maybe another project has been covered on xda portal but I think that if you want eq on all apps you will need root at least.

Well root alone at least won't work as I've tried almost every thing. I want something to work across the board. I don't like sound of default video player. Perhaps it's bit flat.

HTC boombass and lineage 14.0

Hey.
I got my hands on a HTC boombass today.
The thing is I can't get it to work on my HTC One A9 whit lineage 14.0.
It connects fine whit Bluetooth but all the sound comes from the boombass and nothing from the phone.
Is there a fix for this?
Had the same issue before on a M7.
Think it should be possible to create an app that sends only the low freqs (bass ) to bluetooth device and play the other freqs on the phone, but I am not a coder and to busy atm to learn it
Maybe someone would like to do it? Increase of sound quality is quite big!
