[q] lg p500 optimus one display problem

Hey guys,
got the phone unbricked through lg service centre and i am facing display off problem
. The screen does not wake up but the lights goes on and everything else works. I am using
cm 7.2 on it....its a very irritating as i have to restart phone by taking out the battery...
.please guys help......needed help so badly.

Increase the minimum CPU Frequency to 245 or 320

What rom are you using .. is it a nightly cm7.2

i am using this stable build rom...
this problem occured to me even before i put cyanogenmod.......somebody told me its kernel problem...but i dont know what to do

Seems so to me too .. u can try to change the kernel to caf or ta-gb

Download the "v2.5.8-ta-vsync-20121129-signed.zip" .. its one from last in the download part ..
Save the downloaded zip to root of the sd card
Boot recovery ... and flash the kernel directly like u flash a rom ... but DONOT WIPE ANYTHING BEFORE FLASHING ....AFTER YOU HAVE FLASHED ... WIPE DALVIK-CACHE AND REBOOT ...
Go to settings-> about phone -> see kernal version

i tried to update to cm9 ics but the same problem and then i switch back to cm 7.2

Had same problem, service tried to fix it, but they didn't... Just when i got the phone from them and saw same problem, I took the phone back to them after 5 min... This time they fixed this by changing motherboard. I think service has some bug in their equipment

Hmm ... see if u can get hold of a froyo rom .. flash it .. no need for bb fix .. see if the problem persists .. if it does its h/w related ... if it dosent .. it s/w related

I think it is kinda software related but in something deeper LOL... I.E. in things that can be overwritten only by KDZ, LGMDP (forgot how to spell this ), JTAG. I know about this quite well, because i had my phone repaired for about 6-7 times because of problems like these

what should i do now......should i take the phone to service center.....i dont think its worth taking to service centre they will charge too much.....
what do you say...?

Oh... I thought you still have warranty... well, this problem can be solved with KDZ or LGMDP, but i wouldn't recommend these as i have hard bricked my device with these. Yesterday i just bought another p500 for 40$, waiting to get it tomorrow

Restore official gb rom with KDZ updater .. dont use LGDMP .. hard bricks are more possible ...
Search XDA for guide on using KDZ

Actually its other way round.With kdz,there is more probability of bricking the phone.

Wrong installing Samsung galaxy S5670

i have a problem when upgrading ....
when i install my galaxy S5670 with ODIN..
i forget to switch to Download Mode..
and now i cant use my galaxy fit any more...
when i try to switch to download mode..
it only displays blank screen..
but it on

I think Odin doesn't flash firmware unless the cellphone is connected in download mode

Dude u can't flash any firmware till u get a yellow coloured port indication...
So odin didn't harm ur phone..

Never swichoff your phone when it is connected to usb or connecting with charger....
Several day before i completly brick my phone. Motherboard brick.
Replace it paying..3000rs.

[Q] Hard Bricked My Galaxy Duos Lite What I Do Now ?

hey gys recently i root my phone and installing custom rom but after install it my phone bricked nothing show
phone not turn on thre buton for revocery also not working
so i decided i go to Samsung Service Center Tomorrow
i want to ask that samsung repair my bricked phone or not or its replace my phone ?
my phone in warranty

its hardbricked... goto service centre and play dumb.. dont reveal that u rooted it and flashed it... just say it wont turn on...

can u get to download mode?
if yes, then no need of service centre just reply and i'll help.. if no, then u have to go now...

That depends on how well you act there ... if you still have a valid warranty and you act well , then they might replace it under warranty ... Or else you have to shell of money for the replacement .. so finders crossed .. :fingers-crossed:

believe me.. if its really under warranty then its all free.. BUT if they ... by any means come to know that u rooted it or PLAYED with it... then u gonna pay well...

i dont actually know.. if they could.. (which is probably not possible) then they would repair it.. or if they come to know about root on your phone.. then u gonna pay.. or if they cant repair.. and dont find the actual problem.. the they MUST REPLACE IT.

They will probably just replace the whole board if it is really needed.

Its gone dude... Only a board replacement will get it to work...

Best is to Buy a usb jig andd then u will get download modee
Usb jig may cost 200 to 300 rs

That's right the motherboard needs to be changed and so let them change cuz you do not have to pay anything if you are still in warranty:highfive:

You're very lucky if they did take your phone for warranty. Flashing custom ROM actually void your warranty, and they won't fix it for free.

but in my case no one can find that ive flashed custom rom coz mobile doesn't start up

Believe me, they have all the specialised equipment to check every aspect of your phone, even if it's not turning on.

No bro they dnt even check believe me even my phone had dead dat person jus checked the motherboard using volta meter and he said there is and issue with the mother board there is a miss-communication between the charging port and the motherboard so will have to change the MB:laugh:
Samsung folks are dumb they dont do such a deep checking :highfive:

Yeah, when I gave my phone to them soft bricked, it was rooted and I was running modded sysui but they didn't got to know it and repaired for free ^^

[Q] help me plzzzzzzzzzzz

i just bought samsung galaxy core l8262, i tried to update a program but after that the phone just was shut down and any time i turned it on it just showed the logo and again shut down, after rooting the phone this problem was solved but the phone didnt recognized the network and so i cant call or text :crying:
i tried everything but didnt work,some said if i can find ntfs backup of this phone and use it the problem will be solved,can somebody plzzzz help me with this or the original problem?plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz:crying::crying::crying:

I guess you have the warranty papers? Just give it to SAMSUNG service center , they'll fix it in 2 days...
Or you can install ODIN in ure PC and flash stock rom. But in case you screw your phone, the warranty will get void.
