If your referring to AOKP base on ICS, it's been out for like 9 months -- my current rom.

I think he's referring to JellyBean because the closest thing we have to AOKP,which is AOKP/CM10 combined is BlackBean

Which is a great ROM. Just surprised not to see standard AOKP.

I am surprised also. Seemed to be a popular ROM. I keep checking the forum everyday thinking "maybe today is the day the will release a Kang'd JB for my NS4G" but there doesn't seem to be any word. I'll just keep checking.

I'm using V2 on my i9020A and loving it. I flashed Koush's 1st rom too but it didn't have wifi 3g or SMS I also flashed koushs second release and everything except camcorder works but the SMS apk he added was off (the icon is too big) or maybe I should say that its bigger than the rest of the icons. All in all I'd say that V2 is the most stable. But Koush is a hell of a dev so I'd say his will be looking good in the next couple releases

cm10 nightlies

Hello all. This is compiled from cm10 sources. I will be posting new builds as I feel. My captivate's micro usb port does not work and my battery charger stopped working. So I won't be working on this at all, just gonna be compiling straight from cyanogenmods sources. If I can get another captivate or another battery charger. I will be working on this more. But for now just nightllies.

The date in the build is incorrect. It should be 20120718
Great. I know it would be much stable as soon as Nexus S OTA released tomorrow, and I hope you keep updating this thread. Thanks for supporting cappy community.

Clean ROM.

I guess it depends on what your definition of "stock" is. If you prefer the so called "pure android experience" then I suggest trying CM10.

I agree, CM is squeaky clean!

If want TouchWiz stock either Scott's Cleanrom or Beans totally stock deodexed. While waiting on Synergy I'm currently running Beans w/Kindacrap mods and Ziggy's latest kernel @1.72/384. Smooth stable and everything works. With all the inverted apps and Moto's International theme it looks good and Quads @ 6500.
Yeah I was liking for a pure experience like on my nexus 7.

Go for it. You get same experience with better hardware. Can you tell the difference. Only you can tell.
I agree. I am running a nightly of cm 10.1 and everything seems to be Woking fine that I have noticed.

That is why we have hundreds of borked CM10.1 phones in the Q&A that belong in the CM10.1 rom thread.

Anyone have a cm9 rom?

i never tried out cm9 and i was wondering does anyone have a cm9 rom i can download? I'm quite aware that it's no where near as fast as 4.2.2 roms but i used it alot in my inc2 days and wanna go back to it for a little bit
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
pretty certain cm9 never came to the S3. at least on this forum. there might be other builds elsewhere though.
I thought it did because I saw a thing on droid-life about it awhile back
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
Why do you want to try cm9. I used it on a nook tablet and droid incredible and hated it. Always seemed like a huge battery drain. I honestly don't remember seeing a cm9 build for the Verizon s3.

Uses the kexec method that we were using before the unlocked bootloader. Most peripherals probably do not work. Flash at your own risk.

Don't know what everyone else is talking about but I ran CM9 fine, specifically AOKP based on it.

Going to have to do some reading, XDA is not a support site, please go over to the dev threads and read and learn.
