Btw, is the kernel secured or not?

I was (wrongfully) under the impression that euroskank roms were similar in style to aospX roms, instead of being a cherrypicked kang of CM10. Either way, still a great rom, center clock works, 1080p video recording, ffc videorecording, basically the whole show. I can't find any real bugs. Plus In a bit of second grade tomfoolery "ville skank".
Please excuse my ignorance, but what in the Queen's attic is Euroskank? Thanks for the share, but if anyone could just simply word it; thank you!
I guesse this is another derivat of cyanogenmod and thus is for one s with s4 processor only? It should be in the title so that some happy s3 user won't brick his phone.

sorry, no changelogs will be posted. I'd never find enough time to keep it updated. as in my other threads, I advise to watch gerrit for changes and all my picks will be listed on Euroskank daily. a more formal thread will be made soon by Euroskank. This is just to let everyone know the builds are out there
So, running Skank build for 3 hours now. Everything is great. Even camcorder works and has 1080p recording. o_0... But... Google Now always FC's when trying to access setting or tap on the search field. Does anyone has the same? Or am i the only one?
Thanks for the share then. I am DL'ing it now. Will report back with my findings; in main regards to batter, camera quality, and other stuff. Love to see development poppin' like it is on the One S!

The strange thing is that i can't find any changes in CM gerrit about camera for Ville. And, the second is that i do not underestand why Google Now FC's.

I installed updated Google Now to system. And before today everything was fine. Anyway, i've just fix this issue. Just delete all folders from android/data that may contain data from google search/goofle ears, also deleted .nomedia file from the same location. and then deleted all folders for same apps from /cache/dalvik-cache and /data/data. Then reboot.
I've gotten into the habit of asking this, so not one to break tradition....
Does call audio work via the headset on these builds? Currently broke on the CM nightlies, last time it worked was on xkonni's CM build.

READ.
READ. READ. READ.
Read over the offical CM7 thread in infuse development. Read it twice. Read it three times. Use google. You'll know exactly where to find the gapps for CM7.
The problem with a build like this is who supports it? LB certainly won't. It's the reason he has a build only philosophy right now.

Wondering the same thing. I know they fixed it for some others phones that had this issue. Have not heard of a fix for our phone yet.
Mentioned in other threads, by people more knowledgeable than i, i'm just relaying the info. May not be entirely accurate, but in effect, our bt chipset is a ***** to deal with and is completely unique to our phone. Basically it could be done but it's all audio routing and no one wants to bother because they'll be able to pull it from the att gb dump when it cones. Bide your time, patience is a virtue
Derpin on my infuse
Yes, there is still an issue with BT. Yes, it's true that the Infuse has a completely different chip used for BT communication. Yes, it's a ***** to deal with, and yes, there are some issues with routing. However, nothing from ATT will help this get done. The stock Samsung roms use a completely different bluetooth stack that is proprietary. CM7 uses the open source bluez stack. Nothing can really be used from the stock rom to get this working.
if i build from the dev source is it cm7.1 final with Android 2.3.7?
Definitely looking forward to checking this out. I'm considering getting an Infuse. Coming from a Cappy I'd definitely miss not having CM7.

The port of a port is working better than a compiled version for the 800
I am testing a PA compiled version but it boots up with no nav bar and just able to use the pie controls. Can't find option to turn nav bar on, is there suppose to be on?
After some more testing the compiled version needs some work. Some reboot issues and lock ups. Seems like the ports are working better now as vertigo gets the device tree straight. If the compiled version was working there is really very little to no difference from compiled version to the "port" version.

It's really minor, but I really like the option to change the number of tiles in each row of quick toggles to 4. If you could incorporate that, and maybe the option to disable pie on the keyboard like I've seen in slim bean and other tons for my previous device in the past, I'd be all set

Hi guys,
First I must begin by saying that I am not a developer. However, using this: (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1908008) thread, I have managed to "port" Android L to the One, though I have no clue if it even boots. There are a few problems that need to be discussed:
1) AOSP ROMs are around 400 mb? This one is 900+ mb.
2) When I was zipping the ROM, I saw Prism.apk was also in it, and a heck lot of other HTC related things.
3) Will the current kernel for KitKat work smoothly on L?
Anyway, this is my first step to being a potential developer and hope you all get excited for this. I do have one request though, if I can get a few devs to work with me on this, we can get to new heights on our One.
You can download the zip I created here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4JA1Kc3xlxiZUw2XzNzM1NKMVU/edit?usp=sharing

Can you attach the Build.prop file?
If you're going to post it at least try it yourself first man, this could brick everyone's device.

Did you miss the [Dev-Only] in the title? Every flash on your device could brick it if you aren't careful, nothing unique with this build. If you don't want to risk it, don't flash. Simple as that.

Sure: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4JA1Kc3xlxiWHJOV1JnS3FCRzg/edit?usp=sharing
But as far as I remember, I did not do anything to it. The base ROM that I used was a stock deodexed Sense 6 ROM and the port ROM I used was the system dump from Android L, if that helps.

Okay fine, all I'm saying is there's already a thread on this in the general section so its almost pointless to post something else if it hasn't even been tested or is just like the other. There's already work being done on this...

Im not a dev just a general user but I don't think we should be creating these types of threads if you don't know what you're doing. Let the real devs do their work if it was as easy as following a copy/pasting port guide every device would already have a l build. Just be patient and eventually a nice dev will maybe make some magic happen for us.

This ROM will not work, period. The reason is because you did not follow step 1 of the guide which states quite clearly:
"Take any clean CM9, AOSP, CM7, CM10, CM11 ROM which is running on your device as Base ROM."
Now, don't know about you but I do not think a stock deodexed Sense 6 ROM counts as any of those mentioned in step 1... that is why you are seeing HTC things in the ROM.

Ah. Thanks for pointing that out. I will update the zip file today.

It will not work just by using that guide; The bases are just too different.

no man, you can not do this because we have not a base for L! so it should be ported compiling source and fixing bug and issues...is not a thing that you find in a guide

I think your best bet would be to download the Nexus 5 sources and then do some "patchwork" with HTC One libs and whatnot, when needed. The good thing is that they are both at the same resolution and have similar specs.
And after you're done with that, you should be able to build with a couple of adjustments to various build-related things.
EDIT: Also, there will probably be issues with kernels? so you'll have to work through that also.

You can't be patching and copy/pasting libs. No zip modding when it comes to porting big base changes
You'll need to decompile and redo your ramdisk etc. And like jonny said you can't be using sense and gpe parts

Android L Keyboard in Play Store
I just wanted to note that there's a third-party application "Android L Keyboard" by Shen Le in the Play Store which I've been using on the latest CM11 nightlies that works great.
I understand that's not the point of this project but I just wanted to make sure other users are aware. Also, it's kind of scary to have to trust that a keyboard from the Play Store isn't logging and reporting your keystrokes but that's another issue entirely... anyways I added a screenshot, good luck with the project!
:good:
