What other phone screen protectors can I use? I live in the land of no HTC accessories unless you have a One Series, iPhone, BB, or SGSIII, or even Nokia. Are there any other screen protectors made for different phones that will fit this one?

Just buy one on amazon.com
There's a good one from kwmobile or AtFolix
The best ive found is Skinomi techskin. Its a wet application so you cant use phone for a day but it fits well including edges. Takes about 3 or 4 days for all the bubbles to disappear but worth the wait

i got these couple of weeks ago. it fits very well and very nice. i wish it was anti-glare and anti-fingerprint. but thats what you get from a clear screen protector
Skinomi is by far the best protector out there! Great product great price!

I use the official HTC ones SP P450.
You can get them pretty cheap and if you heat them with a hair dryer before applying they are very easy to fit and stick down very well.
Had some cheap ebay ones and they were rubbish.

I never used screen protectors on my sensation. Dropped my phone face down a few times, but still there's not even a single, little problems with screen. Sensation has the best durable gorilla glass screen I have ever seen. No scratches..

SKINOMI is the best screen protector I've ever tried! Drys crystal clear, self healing, life time warentee, no yellowing, won't interfere with delicate touch screen, completely invisible! Simply awesome! Do a wet install and the next day it's like glass! I'll NEVER use anything else! Great price too! It's really different. It won't disappoint! You will love it! Bought one for my uncle's phone too and next day after install he called me up and couldn't believe how great it was! It looks like glass! I highly recommend it!

the TPU shell looks nice - hopefully there will be HTC accessories at the T-MO store when the phone is out~
If the phone has the same materials as the Nexus One, then, you probably don't need the shell

If the TPU case is as good as the one I have for the Desire HD, it should be quite nice
If the HTC Sensation has Gorilla glass, why are HTC selling official screen protectors? Seems a bit of a contradiction.

Although it is great solid glass, it's not completely fail proof, I have an SGS with GG and I managed to scratch the screen (more like slight pits on the screen portion) and a couple 1-2mm scratches by my Back touch button, when it fell out of my pocket onto a slabbed surface.

It's out on May 30th (next Monday). I've pre-ordered mine from play.com (£2 cheaper thank the links in the first post), together with the slip pouch and screen protectors. I'll take pics when I get them.
I'm not going to use the hard shell AND the pouch, but I'll choose when I get them. I'd prefer a "naked" phone once out of the slip pouch, but I'm nervous about dropping it, like I did with my HTC Desire a couple of times which knocked small chips off the top corners.

Official dock
Do somebody know something about official Dock for Sensation?
All online shops that showed the official HTC accessories as being out today (30th) are now just showing as out of stock. Was hoping to get them early this week.
Just got my official HTC screen protectors.
Not good news, I'm afraid.
- Each screen protector comes with one peel-able side, the other side is the face-up side and doesn't have a second bit to peel off once it's been applied to the phone.
- Each screen protector is EXACTLY the same shape and size of the screen, going to the very edge on all four sides, with rounded corners and a tiny cut-out for the proximity sensor.
- Each screen protector is completely flat, with no account taken of the bevelled edge.
- The surface of the screen protectors has quite a lot of friction. Rather than smooth movements, the screen protectors result in juddery movements.
- Whilst it is just about possible to get it to stick to the long edges of the screen, it is impossible to get it anywhere close to the top and bottom edges. See the third attached picture (ignore the bubbles!). You can see the strip about 8mm wide where it just won't stick down. It comes off almost straight away.
I really don't recommend these at all! I'm going to risk the Gorilla glass until (hopefully) some better screen protectors are available.
Hi Guys. I just want to share my experience with ZAGG. I just got it and I installed it myself it was really difficult specially this my first ZAGG. And this some pic for any one want to get ZAGG.
Thankyou for sharing your pics, it looks great.

I'm quite impressed with the screen protector part of the package (which I also purchased). Would you happen to have any tips for applying it as flawlessly as you did?
I won't be getting Zagg again. I went through a several of them on my Vibrant but I could never get one that didn't have vertical lines that turned into rainbows when the screen was on. Also, I couldn't get use to the 'rubber' feel of the screen and just took it off.
Once I got the "Realook" I never looked back. I hope they come out with a screen protector for the Sensation.
Looks pretty nice, good job on the install!
So zagg went with 3 pieces of film on the back, I wonder how that is going to hold up in regards to the film peeling after a few months of use.
I got the full body film from Phantom Skinz and they did a 1 piece film for the back cover. I think it might the install a bit harder, though.
If you want to compare and contrast, I put up some pics here:

The hardest part I couldn't do it and I throw it away the piece in top for the camera It was very tiny and it gave me a big headache. But I am happy with that. I got the maximum. It's almost 7 pieces.

Max protection is $24.99 but you can always get a discount. I only paid $22, shipping included.
I'll never buy or recommend this product. Too grippy and has the orange peel effect. I had the full coverage on my wildfire and it felt really cheap!
I'm really considering buying the ZAGG shield to but as already been said I'm afraid the back will peel since it's 3 seperate parts.
But I'm really happy with the ZAGG shield on my iPad!
Anybody already had the feeling the back isn't gonna stay on for long?
And how are the soft keys responding with a screen protector over it?

100 % nice work ..excellent
I am sure there is nothing wrong with the Zagg skin, but i had one whole body skin from Zagg on my HTC Desire, and after a while it starts to sweat out glue, and that made me not wanting it.. The screen protector works fine too, although in the beginning it is very 'rubbery', but as you use it it gets better to handle. Best feeling is always just glass!

Just order zagg film for my sensation!
I will report my experience too!
I used a Zagg shield for my Touch Pro 2. I love the shield but after a few months it does start peeling. I contacted Zagg and got a free replacement but I reckon the Sensation shield will start to peel, on the back pieces and the sides.
I think I'll get a TPU case and put a screen protector on.
Thanks for the pics though - I hope you have a better experience with your shield. You did a great application!

i use the one included on otterbox, its actually very good, still has not a single scratch since i bought it 2 months ago
Same goes for the protectors included with Case-Mate cases. They feel as smooth as the glass they protect which I think is important. The cheap ones just add friction, and are a pig to apply without fluff bubbles!
Case-mate ones can also be bought separately with out a case.

I tried the official htc ones and they both ended up in the bin! For some reason the type of film they use is different, as the act of peeling the backing off super-charges the thing up with static. Every dust particle in the room rushes to stick to it. Had no such problems with the several case mate ones I've applied.

Just waiting for the phone to arrive tommorow morning!!!
I bought the original HTC on ebay , very cheap about 5€ , in the shop they are 10€ !
This is a thick film , very scratch resistant !!! easy to apply , no air bubbles whatsoever, very clear film and me very happy.
Not using a film is looking for trouble, okay, it's gorilla glass , but i hear of people who managed to scratch this to, so spend a little money and keep the screen scratchfree !!

I have the invisible shield on my HTC Desire (Looking to get the Desire S in the next month or so), the invisible shield is good, but I have been sort of disappointed by it.
I had another phone in my pocket one night (Nokia 6300) and the camera part must have pressed against the screen and has left a permanent indentation on the invisible shield screen protector. It is a good protector, but also it is the most tedious protector I have ever applied, you really do have to "stretch" the protector when applying to get it to sit nicely.
Its your choice, but I would really think about it for a little while longer before you put your money down on an invisible shield protector.
As far as what I've read though, I've got a feeling my protection plan when it comes to the Desire S will involve a Case-Mate barely there case ... when they're in stock again from Australian suppliers.

Yeh, i have used the universal invisible shiel on my tg01 before (i custom cut it for the screen)
Had it on since september, has lasted very well, no peelings anywhere, but it has scratches on it
So i guess they aren't really 'indestructable, scratch proof' as claimed on their website!
But they still hold out very well compared to other standard screen protectors.
When you had it on your desire, was it still possible to use a case aswell? Did it add much thickness?
I wouldnt mind if there was another type of protector, mainly, i want to protect the back of the desire (aluminium casing etc) from scrathes.
The only manufacturer that offers a thin/screen protector is invible shield.
Are there any other manufacturers that make films/screen guards for the back of the desire s??
Thanks for your contribution!
Hey guys just bought my Triumph and waiting for it to come in the mail. I was wondering what the best screen protector would be for this phone. I'm considering the Rocketfish at best buy so I think I'm set on the case. I remember my friend had an iphone protector and it was a glossy look and feel rather than they smooth one. I really liked the feel of that one because my fingers never stuck to the screen. Well all opinions would be great thanks guys.

Personally I hate cases.I have seen the full body ZAGG on one phone and that was like 2+ years ago on i believe a voyager... I didn't think it was bad and If I would get a "case" for my phone that's what I would get. My girlfriend has the MT and she got her case at bestbuy for like 15 or 20 bucks. It's not a bad little case and it doesn't bother me when I use her phone. She also had a ZAGG on it which is the only screen protector I've ever used. But I messed up putting it on her phone and she took it off and threw it away. The ZAGG was only like 12 or so from bestbuy.
Here is the case that I bought. I love it. The silicone keeps it from slide no matter where I seem to place it.
Silicone Case
and then I got this screen protector.
Skinomi
I have used the Skinomi skins on many different products and I love them. The whole self healing thing is pretty amazing and works great.
ZAGG is the way to go for sure. I've tried a lot of cheaper ones and all of them messed with how the display looked or felt while using the touch screen. It's worth the money.
You know that Triumph comes with built in screen protector, don't you? Mine does not show any signs of wear after more then a month of active use and little regard to how my phone is handled.
Just saying...

Thats exactly what I was going to ask. I read that someone removed that factory screen protector and put a new one on because the response was delayed with the factory one and a new one. Anyone else deal with this?
You could always get a Best Skins Ever. It's exactly the same material as the Zagg shields, and it's much cheaper. I've tried both, and they're both fantastic.

Yeah I love the silicon case. Is there a privacy screen protector for the MT?

I just started using this phone, with no additional screen protector since it comes with one over the gorilla glass.
If I do get one I would look into Skinomi. I use it for my gtablet and it works great, I have had it on since the beginning of the year and traveling around with no problems so far.
I personally use ArmorSuit, much better response than stock with the same material as Zagg at half the cost.
The best screen protector I've had is no screen protector.
I dropped my phone and scratched the factory second film. After that, I've been naked
Sent from my Triumph using XDA
My best screen protector has been (for me) the cheapest one! You can find them dirt cheap (a dollar or two) if you search around. But if you constantly drop your phone, I would get a higher-end one, like Zagg or something.
Had my One S since last Wednesday and although I'm not in a hurry to get a case for this sexy beast I DO want to get a screen protector on it because it's a bit too glossy for me, I'd like something to tone it down just a bit and also protect it a little.
So, any recommendations? I've seen several good comments about the official HTC screen protectors but was wanting to get feedback from those who have actually purchased, received and are using a screen protector.
Thanks!
I am using the Zagg Dry (the ones that u don't have to spray stuff everywhere) protectors that come for a front and back protector. Seems to go very well and gives good grip.

I always go for HTC official protector, reason is very simple, it fits perfectly. I mean perfectly, literally, perfectly.
And they are very clear and not easily damaged.
Only down side I can think about is the installation. Cos it fits so perfectly, it makes the installation bot difficult, you have to be very patient to do it, but definitely possible.
BTW, yes, I have official one on my one s, and I love it.
And, no need to go to Expansys or other websites which are really expensive, eBay will just do, less than £5.

$30.00 Zagg dry for me. Watch out when you put the front protector on. It needs to be done withe the phone sitting upside down, your ear piece needs to be facing you. I recommend you do this with your phone off.
When I did mine and answered a txt while doing the front and ended up setting the phone down on the desk right side up. And now the front screen protector is on up side down. Still works though.

does the t-mobile screen protector offer a smooth surface to touch? I am used to SGP's screen protectors which smooth as hell. Right now I am deciding on the t-mobile ones or the Realook ones

I am also a fan of SGP. Very smooth and resists figure prints.
