Need Kno app from Note 10.1 WiFi - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone have the "Kno" application from the Galaxy Note 10.1 WiFi version? I have the 3G version and the app is not included and would like to install it on my Note 10.1 3G. I have looked for the app, but seems they have it for iPad, Windows other to install from Kno website. Thanks.

Search is your friend:

I haven't tried it yet, waiting for JB to root.

Thanks, I did see this, was hoping to find a way to install without rooting or changing build prop.

You can get it from 1Mobile. It's like the play store and amazon marketplace. I tested the app on an ATT Galaxy Note, a Captivate, and a Tmobile Galaxy SII all running CM9 and it works perfectly including the cameras.

What is an OMAP4430 Driver and what are its functions?

I was nervous to post this but then again, better to at least ask and to know than to let fear keep me in the dark (so to speak). So, the thing is this. i am trying to root my samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 wifi only which is 4.1.1 (GT-P3113) UECLK7 but i stumbled on a problem. Yes, huge thanks to Mr. Chainfire for giving us CF-Auto_Root, but when i put my tab in download mode, there was no blue status bar showing any progress, but it ended up saying
1. that i dont have OMAP4430 Driver installed and
2. that i dont have samsung usb driver installed.
i dont understand why and was wondering if anyone could please tell me how to fix this? and where can i find this OMAP4430 driver and samsung usb driver too? ive searced through google so much looking for this OMAP4430 driver till my eyes started burning. i really would appreciate the help. sincerely.

Hi, I am having the same problem with a Samsung Tab 2 7.0 GT-P3110 (wi-fi only). Could you please let me know where you were able to find the right driver?
Same, I can't get it to connect.

Install Samsung Kies, which will install the drivers for you. Then you can uninstall Kies unless you think you'll use it.
Sorry if i seem a bit curious but what was it after all, because you didn't cleared that up and what was it that it dose in the Android OS?! I ask this because i recently switched to Android 4.1 on tablet. Also why do you need to root a Samsung Tab? I know they have enough internal memory and if not an SD card will solve it.

Except if you want to use the external for apps one would need to be rooted. It is also good for using bloatware blockers and many other apps which require root access. It gives one more control over his/her device. Which is most of the fun of having an android device, IMO.

True, on a rooted device you can install non-market apps and if you have enough knowledge in Android modding and courage you can put more customized ROM-s.
The drawback : loose the client warantee from the producer.

UCCW not compatible?

DELETED...incorrect info--can't find a delete option!
Did you find a way to install the latest version on the Note 10.1? I've been trying to figure this out for an hour, but just can't find anything...
No. I thought i had installed it in the first one i had (replaced) but turns out i was wrong. Its confusing because i saw references to it in a Galaxy forum. I'm wondering if it is a Jelly Bean incompatibility since it appears to have been used on the Note before.

It's strange I've also found posts that seem to indicate users on Note 10.1. My Nexus 7 running JB is compatible so it's not that. I might try to send an e-mail to the developer.
I got it working...it wasn't available on the market so i pulled it off my phone.... one more step but it s worth it

[Q] Has anybody got Sky Go working on the 7.7?

Has anyone (in the UK) managed to get Sky Go working on the 7.7?
I have JB installed, and tried a recent release of the sky go apk (3.3) - but still could not get past the 'this device is not supported' error.
Has anyone successfully used rooting / spoof software to circumvent the error?
Or know of any other way?
thanks
I don't use Sky Go, but the SGS3 users has used my (SGS3) zip to enable access Sky Go with some success.
Here is a download link to my CWM flashable Superuser/BusyBox installer :
P6800 version http://d-h.st/xuQ
If you have a P6810 model, you may have to open the zip and change the updater-script (open & edit with device text editor) or PC "notepad++" program to correct system mount and save.
Just flash in CWM or TWRP recovery. This should remove Superuser and BusyBox. If Superuser remains after flash, uninstall manually.
If you need root access again, just download/install Superuser and BusyBox from Play Store.
Ref to SGS3 thread here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1788900

UITA

I still haven't had any success in getting Sky Go to work on the Samsung Galaxy tab 7.7 (3g version).
Has anyone else managed to?

Am I the only 7.7 owner who cares about being able to get sky go working on their tablet?
It might be no one else using it.

I find that hard to believe
The 7.7 still has superior specs over all the recent tablet releases
Surely there's some clever techy out there in android world that has a work around for this
here's hoping

You can't install a software from another device/model on yours. It'll brick it. I think your friend is lying as well? My apologies if its legitimate but I just checked and found no software for s5 working on the note 2
5S rom

Its beside that possible to install a look a like rom
For note 2 see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dU6g2UfjVx8
For S3 See: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/development/rom-blekota-s5-lite-beta-4-5-1-t2752331
This Called searching
If you find an individual APK to install, you might not brick your phone. I've been trying to find the S5 camera app for my S2. It didn't work, but it didn't brick it.
@jorandobnl
I did. I searched for many look a like roms but i wanted the same thing..not just a theme or a really close one..
Thanks for the help anyways

Apparently Kitkat OTAs for the Galaxy S3 include the S5 theme
You just need to edit your device name in the build.prop file
