Grab a logcat of the bootloop and put it in a pastebin it if you can. I flashed the same update in the first post and haven't had a single issue.
Figured it out.my stupidity.thanks again I'm downloading it now.

I was afraid of that.... lol
I tried to grab the logcat but me and my noobness has no idea where it stored the dump at. As soon as one of these kind people tells me where to look for it, I will be more than happy to send that your way.
I have been checking Rom Manager for an Evo Shift ClockworkMod recovery from time to time and this morning it was there. Seems to work well, it handles backup restores a lot better.
Sorry if this is old news. I didn't see it before.
The install is through the official Rom Manager application which is in the Android Market.

Preludedrews cwm 3.0 can flash every rom available on xda.
Its themes, etc that are problematic.

Hello my name is Master&Slave over from the Tmobile Galaxy S II Community and im just wondering if anyone would like to port my ROMs over to the SKYROCKET
I know you can just flash with the conversion package thing in which I have never tried but it may perform better from a complete port.
Here they are Tuesday & Paradox II.
I do my own themes so if you want to port without my theme on it, feel free I dont mind at all, just trying to offer more ROM choices.

Definitely would be nice if someone could port these over. I've run different 989 roms for weeks at a time, they're basically fully functional yet not the same as device specific. I for one appreciate the offer M&S, always wondered why more devs haven't "cross ported" in order to further expand your portfolios.

Don't own the device, technically I do with the Tmo version but you know what I mean. Never flashed a SkyRocket ROM ever nor looked at the framework or internal files.
Should I just put these in the Dev section here? Since you guys can just flash with the conversation package?

There's also the lack of framework for LTE support

If you use 727 rom as a base you can get rid of the heavily reported "2d lag" noted so often in 989 forums. (just a thought)

This is the bootanimation from the 4.1 ota system of the Galaxy Nexus.
Download HERE -------------- > bootanimation.zip
- move to /system/media/bootanimation.zip
- you can test by connecting to adb and and running

Yep, 512x512 is the resolution of the images. I think I may actually use this bootanimation for a while.

on my skyrocket i used root explorer to copy bootanimation.zip to /system/media/bootanimation.zip
there wasnt an old one to over write, is that correct?
mounted as read only and rebooted and still had the old animation.
tried renaming samsungboot.qmg to OLD and rebooting and my stock boot animation is gone now but still the new one doesnt work.
am i misinterpreting the directions?
If you screw up and post in the wrong section report yourself so we can help (also posting in OP helps not being trolled). Moved to themes and apps.
