Yep, 512x512 is the resolution of the images. I think I may actually use this bootanimation for a while.

I thought the resolution in desc.txt was supposed to be the phones resolution.

I tried this on SkyICS 4.2F but no change. Any help, please?
on my skyrocket i used root explorer to copy bootanimation.zip to /system/media/bootanimation.zip
there wasnt an old one to over write, is that correct?
mounted as read only and rebooted and still had the old animation.
tried renaming samsungboot.qmg to OLD and rebooting and my stock boot animation is gone now but still the new one doesnt work.
am i misinterpreting the directions?

Grab a logcat of the bootloop and put it in a pastebin it if you can. I flashed the same update in the first post and haven't had a single issue.

Thanks. Btw you indeed have done a great job on porting this, only thing needed fixing IMO was the pull down icons instead of the stock cm7 ones and a morph for the lockscreen. Cheers buddy and btw, I'll keep on running this till it's dev comes up with a better one

Try getting the data working with manual APN settings? Also, CM7 for this phone has a strange issue where call audio doesn't work unless GPS is on. Those issues identical being MIUI is a build of CM7, or is it something unique with this rom?

Yes tried doing that but the ROM would not hold the APN and the GPS trick doesnt seem to work.

This is a port using the miui from HTC Desire HD and the cm7 from the Tmobile SGS2
If this is the rom from the T-Mobile thread it frigging flies. Can't wait to see some progress on it

Fixed the errors you were having by comparing it to my own modified settings but you left some extra stuff in there that wasnt need idk if you want to wait for me to released mine on v3 or want me to send it back urs with fixes to compile
