[Q] Can't find a working SuperOneClick v2.3.3

hello,
i have tried lots and lots of downloads for the SuperOneClick and none of them work i keep getting this message when the download box appears. Please help

When it has .part on the end of the file name it means it did not finish downloading. Have you gone to shortfuse's website for a direct download link?

yes i want to root my phone here are the specs
firmware is 2.3.6
phone samsung galaxy s 4g (t mobile)
kernel 2.6.35.7 kj6
build number Gingerbread kj6
all of this is came on the phone when i bought it from tmobile.
i went to shortfuse to get the direct download took me to deposit files and download box appeared and i got this message

I am using firefox idk if that has anything to do with it.
im new to this whole thing and want to root the phone so i can start doing things with it.

Oops... I uploaded the older version. It will still work but I will go ahead and upload 2.3.3 for you.

Same Error Message.

Then restart your computer. If that doesn't work. Try Internet Explorer or Chrome. Something is wrong on your end. That is my personal dropbox folder. I know it works.

Just a quick suggestion. Try disabling the virus scan on downloads in Firefox then try downloading it. I seem to recall having a similar problem a while ago with something I was downloading.
Don't forget to re-enable it after though lol

thanks for the suggestions guys but i guess its not ment for me to root nothing has worked.
* couldn't download to the pc so i went on the web on my phone and downloaded the file then transfered it to my pc. back in business*

Or... You can flash a custom ROM/kernel, that would get you root

I rooted my Galaxy S 4g with SuperOne Click. I will give you the link to download it later im at school. Not sure if its really 2.3.3. But it should still work and if it works you will get a new app called superuser.

He was able to download and root.

[Q] Galacy Ace Advance GT-s6800 ( root)

Hi evryone , i bought a samsung galaxy Ace Advance . S6800
I have tried to root the phone but have failed everytime.. I used the latest universal rootv25 and tried some other root.zip but nothing worked..
Says aborting operation everytime..
I think the device is not supported yet, seeing as its fairly new.
and also the phone is not on xda device list..
Can anyone help me with rooting the device and also how can I upgrade Gingerbread 2.3.6 on the phone to Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0
I and found very little info from the net on this device...

Google AceGingerRoot.zip and click the result by 4shared (the one with Capitals. there are two) :good:

The only way i was able to mod the gone for now is by using xposed framework for gingerbread ,til i get time to download all the tools needed to build a rom

Hi, my SGS4G is running Froyo 2.2.1 at this link, now I want to flash Barebone SGS4G KJ6 ROM but I have no idea to do that, anybody can help me?

You're gonna have to upgrade to gingerbread, then you can flash barebones. Follow the guide.

I can upgrade to stock GB 2.3.5 and root it. Is it avalable if I get started from here?

Thanks, I did it, and all links I found are forwarded to dropbox link of AntonX, I can't access that link.

Since you don't have the GB bootloaders it's recommended you follow this guide. This will allow you to install any GB/ICS/JB roms that are available for the SGS4G.

also you can try searching custom recoveries like TWRP or CWM... if you find that for your device, you are able to root

lg tribute 2

I know the phone is fairly new and all but is there anyone out there with a stock ROM for the lg tribute 2? I rooted with kinguser and was attempting to flash twrp recovery on it and i bricked it up unfortunately. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How did you root it?
If you rooted it with the LG One click tool than there's a way to unbrick it very easily

No I used Kingroot sadly...probably was a bad idea

How? I bricked my phone trying to root it with the lg one click

i also soft bricked my lg tribute ls665 while rooting with kingo root
its on boot looping with lg logo with authentication fail error 9
needed a stock rom to fix the issue

Good news guys. There appears to be a solution. This helped me unbrick mine: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-how-to-root-lgls770-5-1-1-t3184649 (Note that it's for another phone entirely, but it DOES work with the Tribute 2 (LS665))

I've tried it a few times and it didn't work..I'll try again though

If we can get the TOT file or a KDZ it will be easy to fix but until then looks like we are stuck, unless someone has a working phone they can pull it from if so let me know and i'll help them get the files off the phone we need.

What kind of file is this, is it a .img, .tot, .tar.md5. Would like to know before i try and flash it

Will only work if the devices was bricked the first time with the One click for kitkat and 5.0.1
If it was bricked with kingroot then you're in deep trouble...
