Yup! It won't let you flash unsigned ROMs.
I didn't try to flash anything yet.
The only thing I have done is rooted the tablet.
Isn't the hardware almost completely the same as the xoom 2 10"?
I can open it up to see, but some tips on how to proceed are always welcome.
queria uma rom CyanogenMod para ele

The hope that we can have, is with an international update for a phone that allows unlocked bootloaders. It took 4-6 months for the Atrix to get that. We will have to wait for more International versions of the Atrix 2 to be released so that we can find that "one" version with an unlocked bootloader, it is a one in a thousand kind of a chance, at this point.
We don't need an unlocked bootloader for great things on this phone, really the only thing we CAN'T do is overclock, but there might be ways around that too, I have a way, but it has softbricked 2 devices so far, so if we can get an sbf (which is the real key to all of our happiness), we will really be in business.
Even with an sbf or an fxz file, we can have ROMs, we just need a few ROM developers to want to work on this phone.
Hi,
I was wondering how to root my Asus tf300t WW (build number JRO03C.WW_epad-10.4.2.13-20120907), Android 4.1.1? All those that I found was on with US type firmware.

Ya... Is essentially the same steps as I found. I have manage to unlock. Will try to flash recovery and root later. Wish me luck... :fingers-crossed:
What I have understood so far, the steps are affecting the recovery and install su into the /system partition (no wipe). It does not affect the kernel nor Android itself. So, technically, it should be generic for all build.

Maybe this has what you're looking for..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=31790244
It doesn't require an unlocked bootloader, just have to be rooted with ICS installed, whether its Leak#1 or Leak#2/OTA, with either bootstrap or bootmenu custom recovery installed.
The A2 has no guide for unlocking the bootloader, because it hasn't been done yet. There is a thread for Bootloader unlock bounty that you can donate to if you wish to help with that..
Edit: Also post all questions in Q&A, but not before searching and reading for related issues.

So what version of ICS are you on? Leak 1 or OTA? And if you're using bootmenu or bootstrap, you install from SD card through custom recovery. Not as a backup.

You'll need RSD lite, as well as the correct Drivers installed from the Beginners guide here..http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1396650
If you're on 2.3.6 grab the proper fxz here..
http://sbf.droid-developers.org/edison/InlineFlashing_edison_5.5.175.25_cfc_p3_APBP.xml.zip (BEFORE you use RSD, be sure you have USB Debugging enabled)
Once on stock 2.3.6, don't set up your Google account or anything yet..
Then, follow Jim's method to get on the first ICS leak and install bootmenu/safestrap/bootstrap cwm, then flash any ICS ROM. It will work on the first leak.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1779968
The official OTA/leak 2 is nothing but a headache it seems, and if you was to softbrick you'd have a way out, but not nearly as easy as if you was on the first leak.
Also once on the first leak, ONLY use the fxz from Jim for to ICS to GB. OTA ICS has no fxz at the moment
Let me know if this helps.

You have to be running ICS 4.0.4 to use the ROM. If you're phone is an AT&T US MB865 Atrix2, you can RSD with the file I sent, then get onto ICS with the link to Jim's thread, THEN you can flash the multilingual ROM. If all you're looking for is language support, then search for a ROM for 2.3.6 that's got multilingual support, if there is one. I just know that this works.

Not at all, in fact it's not compatible with flashing any rom after ICS, else you're sure to soft-brick. It's much older and unmaintained so it's virtually the last recovery we'd need for anything new.
Aside from that, I haven't done much about Safestrap since the last time. I've had a pretty busy week this week, and lately have been attending other matters so no sense in being impatient.

What about converting RAZR new safestrap to atrix 2? We could then flash rsdlite back to stock, install new safestrap, and port a 5.0 rom and flash? Suppose its obviously not that simple but an idea since 5.0 roms dont seem to work with bmm
