New home screen - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

I'm not sure if this goes in general or q&a, but could you at least try to help before shouting at me about it?
While going to connect my charger to my phone, I noticed it wouldn't charge despite how many cords and wall adapters I used. When it finally did charge, this is what popped up on the screen:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I got alarmed because I've never seen this on my phone. I restarted and unlocked the phone. After the media scanning finished, whenever I press the home button it brings me to that screen. I'm on stock everything, and I have no launchers or themes installed. Please help, because I can't access any of my apps unless I press the back button multiple times.

I'm not seeing the picture in my original post, but I hope this shows it, as this is my first time posting a picture I have no clue what I'm doing.

Update: it appears to have stopped after removing the battery, but I'd still like to know how that happened, so I'll try to get that picture.

I can't stop the programs from turning on every 30 mins?
Some people have had good success with a Android Market program called Autostarts. I am thinking about trying it. It is a $1.
If you try it, please post back your results. I want to know if it only works for programs or if you can control individual processes.
See its keeping my phone awake
I think most of those need to be running in backround for the phone to function properly. If its a user app and you dont use it often just uninstall it or freeze it with TB. Task killers dont work and will just result in the app restarting itself.

Mister Hat...out of curiosity what battery app are you running there in the screenshot?

Sorry, can you be more specific? I went to /system/framework/framework-res.apk and have been exploring the apk but...can't find it. Lots of images though, I might just need the specific image name that would need to be changed.

I may be wrong but I think silver is talking about extracting the apk. Like if you were theming you prolly wont find it unless you do that my friend.

It's because you're subscribed to the people doing the updates. For some reason it randomly subscribes you to new friends now. You have to go to that persons page to change it.

Really fun app to test everything. I read its what is used to test quality at factory.
Thought it would be fun to share

Interesting.... thanks for sharing. Maybe post the APK as well? Next time please post it in the proper forum, as it should be in Themes and Apps.
It appeared after a reboot? I've not seen it. I've rebooted multiple times. I reboot after every full charge cycle. Moto is starting to scare me. Anyone else have this?
Edit: its in the system app folder but I have no way to launch it. Weird.
I will figure it out once my upgraded shows up.

haha damnit. Well back in GB to me looked like a battery with a check mark. I thought it was battery saving or widget thing. I've never used the alarm on android until recently.
