I have only had this problem a few times, but it it's really annoying. I haven't yet noticed a pattern or any sort of particular trigger. It just seems to happen randomly.
The problem is that every once in a while, my phone will suddenly start to tell me ''shell has been granted superuser permissions'', and it will tell me every three seconds or so until I reboot the phone. Not a huge problem, just very annoying. Anyone else have this issue?

Try updating Superuser binary, should go away after that...

Awesome. Will do......tomorrow, lol
Is it after taking a screenshot? I believe its happened to me because I hit the volume up with power instead of volume DOWN. And it has happened to me...not alone. And updating binary might not be advisable on SCV7 if you are running that. Unless rdavisct had changed it but he has things set in an older binary for a reason (to me unknown) Just warning. But if your not, that suggestion would be most likely your answer.

All that would occur is losing the full supercharger script, not sure how much of a problem that would pose. You could also try a re-flash if you ARE running SCv7 and see if that clears it up...

Right, I get what you're saying. However, my point is that was essentially nothing more than a re-posting, and was politely calling your attention to it. Furthermore, who would Garnerj013 be reporting such a "bug" to, ChainSSD? If, in fact, Garnerj013 is on SCV7 and the problem is due to ROM build vs. su binary incompatibilities, reporting to CHAINSSD is inconsequential, as it would have nothing to do with ChainSSD's app, but rather everything to do with a ported ROM base issues, not su's. Also, rdavisct is already aware of the issues with current su binaries and SCv7, and no need to report the "bug" to him either. I've seen this before, and I've experienced it as well myself. If Garnerj013 isn't on SCv7, an updated binary would likely be the fix, and if he is, a re-flash or waiting for rdavisct to make the fixes to allow for current binaries in su to work properly alongside SCv7 would be the alternative. At any rate, I appreciate you trying to be helpful. No harm, no foul...

You could certainly give that a shot. Did you try updating su's binary? The only concern I'd have with your suggested approach would be Supersu's binary, and whether it too would need updating. But, try anyhow - worst that could happen is you'd just need to re-flash your ROM and wait for the fix (still assuming you're on SCv7)...

By "program" do you mean the app? If not, download the app from the market (Play Store).
Or, just fix permissions in ROM Manager. Works every time for me.
That's the issue I'm having is that rom manager/cwm isn't fixing permissions

Yup, needs busybox. Download the app and install it.
PS--When people say cwm on this site they mean cwm recovery, not rom manager. Not everyone uses the term correctly of course, but just thought I'd let ya know.

well ill take note of those differences aha thanks for the heads up, and im gonna try installing the 17b update and see if that fixes my issues
just a quick edit:
when i do go into busybox its the free version and it says "BusyBox null is installed" then "Busybox is installed to sh:<stdin>[1]:not found"
then gives me the option to install 1.20.1
so do i need to spend the money to upgrade to busy box pro?

why do we not have an RUU ? What about radios and such ?
I got it downloaded and installed. It's a developer build and a little buggy.
It's a little bit of an improvement, but not perfect. Sense 3.6 is kind of annoying. It's intriguing how they have attempted to keep the look of sense 2.1. It feels like they've combined the worse of GB and ICS.
I'm looking forward to what the AOSP community will do with this.

Keep the downloaded OTA on your /sdcard, but DO NOT INSTALL it! There is some dev work being done on the newest "leak", and I can tell you, things have changed. Avoid complications, and just sit back and hold tight to the OTA you found until we (erm... the devs) have tested this, and can get us back to stock.

Yes. The new leak is very much final ICS for us. And, as jim mentioned, it will lock us down even more with no way to return to GB. Unless that doesn't matter to you for some reason, I would stick with the first ICS leak found and posted in the general section. Then you may flash a ROM made from the new leak if you wish to experience what the newest leak has to offer. Or, you can decide for yourself what's best for you..
