Dear all
thank god to finally find to some expertise, my problem sum-up in the Saudi Arabia firmware
after i bought the note i keep search for the learning hub & music hub and finally found that it's only supported in some country ( Euro country )
so is their is any way to change my firmware from Saudi Arabia to Europe Firmware ? and if it's applicable i need some explanation to replace it? and is it going to solve the previous problem?

IF this will help or not, I can't be certain. If it's a matter of an app store not letting you download something, wiping the app data and creating a login tied to another country may work.

Three days back I bought a Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi MZ606 from China, to mys surprise this doesn't has Market apps instead it has shop4apps which has everything in Chinese. Am stuck and frustrated with this handicapped device, they won't return it either. Can someone please help me as how to install custom Firmware or even US Firmware or Indian Firmware so that everything comes in English along with the Android Market application and google talk..........plz help
Wow that's a real bummer, I just purchased mine from Hong Kong, ans was worried I would end up with the same issue, thankfully I have no such problem mine is all English. I really hope you can get this fixed.

As long as it isn't a Hong Kong variant, you could flash the US wifi stock images. Get them from the General section or direct from Motodev. All wifi models have same hardware.

Hello friends, I'm trying to fix up a GT-N8000 for a friend, it's got ZCBLL5 firmware on it(he got it from china somehow). It did not come with the play store(or any google apps), and since he's an apple guy, he turned to me for help. As it's not my tablet, and i haven't messed much with samsung devices, i don';t want to brick it, so i'm turning to the xda community for a bit of help. We're located in canada, however i see there isn't a canadian firmwrae for this variant. Which would be the best region FW to install, and would it mess up the 3g ability, like would it mess up the IMEI or the CSC. Or would i be better off to root and sideload/flash GAPPS? And would the 3g still function here in canada with the chinese FW. Thanks in advance
Well the german firmware is the one which is updated first so I would advice either the German one or the Nordic one, once you do that you will stop receiving OTA and will have to manually update. I am from India and have installed german and Nordic ones cell services just work fine. The issue with IMEI getting messed to my knowledge will happen only with custom roms.
Once you install any of these roms you will get gapps automatically

I understand there is only 1 other G9200 dual sim sold and that is from Hong Kong. The beauty of the HK version is that it has Google.
I'm an amateur but can follow instructions well.
I simply want to change from standard Chinese firmware as shown above to standard Hong Kong firmware such as G9200 ZHU1BOGB or G9200ZZH1BOGB or G9200ZHU1BOGB so that I get Google etc. By the way, what is the difference between the 3 HK versions I've listed?

The best (and maybe the only) solution is to root and install GAPPS
Could you give me some guidance on how to do that? I have never rooted a phone, so I would like to be careful. It is also the first smart phone I am using.
- I understand PingPong root does not work with Android 5.1.1.
- Is there a tutorial that would work for this specific phone and configuration (see original post)?
- Should I use ODIN?
- What will be the consequences (tripping KNOX, loss of features, risks, ...)?
- Can I go back to the original state of the phone after rooting? If yes, is there something special to do so that it is possible to go back?
- Should I replace G9200ZCU1BOH2 with G9200ZHU1BOH2 or one in the original post?

I have this phone Samsung GT-S3802 and its locked. I dont have pin. I dont know how to do a hard reset to factory settings. On another site I found instructions on how to upload the firmware but can not find the firmware for this phone download. I need czech version firmware. Does anyone know the solution or give me a tip where to download the firmware? Thanks for answers.

If you search on google you`ll find plenty of fake websites , be careful , I would suggest you to contact the seller

But anyway, I'm from Ecuador and someone sold me a Samsung A505F double sim from Pakistan (also Malaysia and United Arab Emirates), not from america so my question is:
Is it safe to install a firmware from another country? Besides erasing my data and configuration will I lose anything? Can I still use my local network and stuff? What happens if I try another version? Please, let me know ASAP. I don't care wiping my phone's data so that isn't a problem for me at all.
The reason I want to change it is because I have a camera issue and SAMSUNG STORE told me that my version isn't sold in here and I have to go to the store from where I got it. They don't look at rooted devices, etc. They just look at firmware's country and the hardware condition.

If the model number is the same it should fine. I've done it in the past to get updates faster.
