So i was usiing the infinity, n i do miss samsung especiiallly the touch wiz.wiz.. i want to o get the one that doesn't get outdated even when the windows tablet comes out. Which one should i get

THE Question: Now since the oversized NOTE it's running on ICS, couldn't that be ported to our NOTE in GB flavor or in a ICS one?

Don't care what it works for, its awesome and our Note deserves it. Any love the ATT Note and new 10.1 Note get in terms of TW or SPen, I'd like to see that filter down to us. We are the original Note and Sammy looks like they will be pushing the SPen tech from here on out.
Basically if my Note does not see these type of updates, why should I buy the next gen Sammy hardware with SPen? I specifically do not buy Apple for this type of practice

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Sammy threw in new SPen features with the official ICS release for the Note. Perhaps this was one of many reasons its been a slow start on leaks. One can hope

So I currently own an Arc s and my girlfriend owns a nexus 7 tablet. I've been looking at getting a tablet for a while now but nothing has ticked all the right boxes for me. I really like the nexus 7, but the lack of Hdmi support in particular (as well as no micro-sd slot) kind of ruins it for me...
Iv been waiting for something to come along for a while now but I cant help but think i'll always be waiting because ill always want to wait to see what the next best thing will be. I've also been looking at maybe getting a phablet lately, so I can get rid of my arc s and have the best of both worlds...
The main thing I want to use the device for is:
- Gaming
- Browsing
- Netflix (connected to tv)
- Probably rooting/custom roms (AOSP) etc
Since im kind of a tech-head, i of course want a quad-core device etc... But like i said above, i just can't choose between whats already out and i feel like the moment i buy something the next best thing will be released lol...
Heres what iv narrowed it down to recently:
Galaxy s3
Galaxy note 2
htc one x
Does anyone have any reccomendations/suggestions?

Hey guys, so im an android lover and i now own an android phone and tablet.
I have an asus prime with samsung galaxy s 3
I would love to be able to completely integrate them both. I think it would be cool if my tablet recognized my phone in range and synced all files and they worked in conjunction with each other.
So far the best i can figure out how to do is use tablet talk to sync sms which is cool.
I'm wondering if anyone here knows of a way i can use my phone as like an electronic keyfob. As soon as my phone is within say 1m of my tablet i no longer have to enter a passcode?
Also when i say i would like to see the phone and tablet its hard to explain what exactly i would like to see but the best ive seen to describe what id love to see is what ubuntu are describing on their ubuntu.com/devices page
if anyone has any ideas on how i could set this up i would appreciate it.

sell them both and get an ASUS Padfone or even better and ASUS Padfone 2.. job done!
You could make a small app that uses nfc to accomplish this most likely. You may even be able to do so using the app Taskr

Just so you know; The Padfone, only becomes a Tablet, when the Phone is in the back of the device.
Once you remove the Phone, the Table part no longer functions... Its not 2 Separate Devices.
So if you want to look something up real quick on your "tablet" but you have the phone to your ear and in the middle of a call, you can't... unless you put the phone is the back compartment of the "big screen"..
Ok, so what's your take on a phablet v phone and tablet?
I have a nexus 5 and 7 (2012). I'm wondering if having one device would be better?
I have to make an effort to use the n7. I really only grab it for reading books..., but when I do use it, I love the extra screen space. Got me thinking about a phablet, but I hated tw on my gs3, I love the google experience on my nexus 5. I don't mind using custom roms, but i don't find them as nice as google's stock version of AOSP..
What do y'all think?

ok so this is my first time on here and i decided to make a thread because I simply cant find anything on this. (could also be that I'm slow and just didn't see it in front of my face) Anyways in the past week I have gotten ahold of over 10 phones. main purpose? unlock bootloader, root device, and play Pokémon go official app on the device, of course their are other things i want it for but this is my main reason. but every device I've gotten my hands on have been a complete fail and its driving me insane!! so I'm just looking at my options what can I do? I really want to get a Samsung galaxy tab s6 lite but honestly I don't wanna waste my money and not be able to root. I really need something that that is gonna work either a high end tab or a high-end phone that can be rooted. would be even better if I could just by a pre rooted phone or tab somewhere. please just, any help would be appreciated.
