Take off AD2SDX as it's not good with stock HBOOT due to it's small data partition. As the Dalvik grows over time the internal space will get filled up very quickly and lead to low memory errors

Ofcourse then custom hboot will be used and system will be shrunk down to increase data partition. So its still an option.
Thalamus custom hboot patcher works awesome so no issues creating custom partition.

I think I'll try it out on the weekend, cheers!

Amazing work here, truly impressed! One question though, is camera working for anyone? I try taking a picture and it just FC. Apart from that I'm in love with this ROM, so advanced man..And really fast, fluid, smooth and whatnot - I rarely say this about an ICS/JB rom...Thumbs up man, keep it going!
E: simple reboot solved the camera issue. Happy now ^^

So as per op a2sd must not be enabled, but I installed about 20 apps (nothing special, just the regular whatsapp, youtube etc..I mean no biggies) and I'm at 9mb internal storage atm. Any Ideas? Did full wipe prior to installation of course.

Only one little thing...
Only one little thing: Please, remove that SuperSU and put Superuser back! SuperSU is soooo damn slow and not always working. So please, bring the Superuser back! I dont understand why you changed it! Otherwise the ROM is awesome! Its even faster and smoother. Hope the battery life is better too as its very unefficiently compared to the Sense 3,5 ROMs.

With this ADDON I don't need to compile something, this makes it much easier to stay up to date. And it's really anoing to see miui rom flooded this forum with nearly no difference.

You're probably right about nearly no difference between the miui rom but the same thing can be said about sense rom too. The only difference between them is just theme and other applications you can find in the market.

quite true. and if i would have found a single miui rom having the two or three things i absolutly wanted i never had started to cook mine.
i never released it if i wasn't asked to from several people. but in the recent time there are indeed some new miui roms i can't tell the difference between them, or for some even between stock miui.
any feedback about the addon? ore suggestions to add/remove?
if you ask... snd3254 and the io patch (i guess you mean libsqlite.so) are since long time already in miui.
zipaligning system apps is useless as any rom cooked in dxda kitchen zipaligns apps by default. it just waste time on boot for chekcing/alignen apps that don't change.
i think this are enough comments from my side

thanks for your respond
snd will be deleted like mentioned before
i did not recognized the i/o patch in miui.. but you know what you are talking about so it will be deleted in future releases
about zipaligning system apps, i left it there because i often change my system apps manually, so its only for be sure it IS <<< will check boot time without it and will make a coice
[EDIT] Bootanimation will also be deleted untill the filesize is smaller... 10MB only for an animations is too much imho
if you change system apps often (what users of your adon most probably won't) you could run the script manually for you and only for the specific app. no need for another process doing stuff at boot time.
it is not a big thing but an useless one
and you can see that the io patch is already in miui by running quadrant. impossible to just jumpt through db writes without it
EDIT: who cares about the 10MB of the bootanimation considering that /system is nearly empty. miui roms are so damn small. i even thought about repartitioning my internal memory to spend the wasted free space to my /data partition.
EDIT2: i think i am now motivated to realize that
Cheers mate.. This is awesome
Just what I needed.. I always flash MIUI.US beta cause they are always first with the new release.. And there for I miss some stuff like this, and it´s always a hassel flashing another miui rom when the dev´s here get them out..
So great work.. This sure deserves a beer IMO.. PM you when it´s done
Cheers...
Edit: All respect to @a user, he know´s what he´s talking about(most of the times anyway ) but please don´t remove the zipalign thingy, cause I remove and change the system apps quite often and I don´t know how the script thing work´s (noob I know ) so a little longer boot time, who care´s, how often do you need to reboot anyway....
Or if you remove it, have it as a seccond addon if it´s possible..
Cheers..

[ROM][2.3.7][GWK74] CyanoCleanMod [04.06.2012][V1.2]

Hi everybody. I have been busy for a long time, but now I am finishing my things and start having some time. I am now working in CyanogenMod, which is, right now, the best android ROM. But there is a problem:
Miui - Very beautiful, but drains a lot of battery (v4 more than the gb one)
CM9 - Is still buggy. There are a few minor bugs, but the main problem is battery drain.
That's why I have choosed CM7 creating a rom similar to my cleanKpuRom (I didn't forget it. It is stopped but not finished) So u can deduce that my rom is soft, with a low battery drain, simple, with almost no added apps, but with the good part of CyanogenMod, which is the speed, bugfree etc...
CyanoCleanMod
FEATURES
- Based in TheFrankenstain work (MiniCM7) of CyanogenMod 7.1
- Some grafical things changed like bootanimation, wallpaper. I don't have a huge work here, because CM7 works like other, with themes, so theming is not the biggest aspect of the ROM.
- Build.prop edited with media, network, battery, gps, system tweaks
- Some system files have been modified to have better gps, pictures, battery drain...
- Google apps includedby default
- Whatsapp added
- Beats Audio Xloud and Bravia Engine MODS
- Mic in apps working
- modified Init.d
- VurrutKer v3 by default
- Fast installation and boot
- Very light rom
V1.1
- MIUI Camera--> amazing pictures
- SGS3 sounds added
- Dolphin HD browser by default (very fast)
V1.2
-VurrutKer v4_rc by default (sync fix)
-Init.d absolutely changed for a better battery life
-Solid explorer added as file explorer
WHAT DOESN'T WORK
Video recording. U can use videocam illusion from market
DOWNLOAD
V1.1 - Mediafire
V1.2 - Mediafire
HOW TO INSTALL (recomended guide)
1. Flash clean KPE with odin
2. Flash KPU with odin
3. Flash UNIVERSAL CF-ROOT
4. Wipe data, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache
5. Flash the ROM
6. Wipe cache

Hi there,
first I wanna thank you for your work
I am interested on init.d scrips, can you post here yours pls? My init.d folder is empty (guess because of upgrading in the past some buggy kernel...) so I'd like to try some good script for ram optimization.
Thank you again and long life to cm7! (untill a working cm9 comes! eheheh)
Cheers!
Hi,
First of all... thanks for your work!
Does battery last a lot?
I´m actually using Titanium Rom and I´m getting almost 2 days.
Are Bluetooth, wifi, tether and Gps working correctly?
Does it have the 14 toggle, because in the screenshots I haven´t seen it.
Thanks again!
Thanks for your hard work, looks great...
This is a CM rom. Battery life is not as good as stock roms one... I must add that Titanium Kernel saves a lot of battery, so I can't fight with that.
There are a lot of init.d scripts, download the rom (1.1 soon) and check them in etc.
14 toogles, as other theming things are not included in cyanogenmod because that aspect work with themes.
Thank u all, ur reports would be very helpful for me
Awesome ROM, you are great
Version 1.1 Avaliable. Post UPDATED
How about Battery compare to CM9
what about the battery drain compare to CM9.
What I have seen in CM9 is the battery drain during sleep Hours is so so so good, and I mean it, It is allmost 0-2 % in around 8-9 Hours of sleep.
But when the phone is in use like normal uses also such as music, browsing, normal gaming, messing with settings....etc, then the battery drain is very high.
And does HW acceleration is there in this ROM ??

[ROM][CM7.2] KEvolution v1.1

Hi everyone!
I made my own ROM and want to share it with G3 community

- Multiboot
- Overclock up to 1,2 GHz
- Governors: lagfree, conservative, ondemand, userspace, powersave and performance
- Voodoo v10
- Hybrid Data2SD (it works like apps2sd script, available on first boot if you have SD card partitioned)
Zipaligned
2 launchers: Holo and TW
Custom theme (ICS by achep)
Custom bootanimation (CM9 bootanimation)
Removed some useless apps: Gallery3D, Voice Dialer, Development, Spare Parts, Protips, RomManager, Sound Recorder, Download Provider, Html viewer, Latin Ime Tutorial, Livewallpapers
Added apps: QuickPic, ES File Explorer, SuperSU, Terminal Emulator, XDA, Voodoo Control

Then Update.zip->Select .zip from Sdcard and choose KEvoultion vx.x.zip. Wait and then Go Back, Reboot and use.

Everyone who makes a ROM seems to make the quickpic mistake @dev, you need to extract the quickpic apk and move the lib file to /system/lib.
rom flashing
How to flash this rom??there is no.tar file here
@up There is no tar you flash it via recovery. If you are on CM7 you can flash it trough recovery immediately, but if you are on froyo first flash a CM7 rom via Odin(for example Kyrillos 10.6 it has a tar file) and then flash this via recovery.
So yeah, I think we are at a point when I'll need your help!
I don't have any further ideas how to improve this ROM. Everything is working fine and updating just for changing look isn't the best idea. Please post your ideas for improvements, what you want to have in your ROM of dreams etc.
And now my plans!
I just started my winter holidays and I will have a lot of free time so I'm planning to compile my own kernel and make a wide search for new features I will be able to include in the next version of ROM.
Still waiting for feedback!

So I looked around and found that this ROM has floating windows. I can't test now since I'm driving home (another 5 hours), but I was wondering if these windows are resizable?

Hopefully you can enjoy it on here too. The window should scale a little so it isn't as huge on your device but so it's still usable

If you use 4ext check the md5 against the md5 on the download site, I'll just go and do the same...
Edit: just noticed the XFS doesn't like md5 files

This is not a theme, this is a custom rom light and fast based on cyanogenmod 10.1 i changed color because Inverting the ROM reduces battery consumption anyway thank you for your comments

yep, it's a theme zipped together with the whole CM10.1. Since anyone can download CM10, in my opinion there is no reason in merging these 2, lol.
Removing a couple of apps will NOT improve the performance, nor affect the stability of original CM ROM. Not to offend you, but all you could possibly fix there is a graphical glitches (not saying that there are any) created by your own theming, since the unaltered ROM (besides theme) you posted here is being developed by other team with real developers and beta testers. Therefore, I can't see the purpose of this thread. I hope I'am being clear enough this time.

Ya I thought smogger was trolling but I get his point if this in fact just a repacked rom. Did you do any dev work other than mods then repack?
Edit: And thank you for making another ROM for our DHD, regardless of what level of experience your dev skills are, its nice to have choices.
