downgrade from 3.33 to 3.32 firmware using RUU - HTC Sensation

I just want to downgrade from 3.33 to 3.32 because it is causing me touchscreen issues.
When i try to install 3.32 RUU i get the error "Wrong Bootloader Version"
My present RUU is 3.33.401.6 Radio_11.76A.3504.00U_11.24A.3504.31
My HBOOT Version is 1.27
My device is all STOCK and unrooted

if SON ..you cant downgrade even by using a RUU

Hi, I have rooted s-off Hboot 1.27.1100 Sensation 3.6 ARHD 6.7.2 FW3.33 but i want to go back to ARHD 6.6.7 because i feel it was working better for me.
I want to also downgrade the firmware to 3.32 so i can flash the RAM+SD Hack Sense 3.6 3.32.zip because it made such a huge difference!
and this flash doesn't work on 3.33, it just makes the ph boot-loop.
I've tried manually editing that hack for 3.33 following these instructions (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1699591) with build.prop edit, uploading services.jar and then i got stuck at editing init.qcom.post_boot.sh
I just couldn't quite understand where to add the additional lines so i'm happy to just go back to what worked.
I haven't been able to find some clear instructions on downgrading this firmware but after searching it seemed all i needed was s-off and to just flash the 3.32 firmware.
So far i've superwiped, flashed 3.32 firmware and flashed ARHD 6.6.7 but once the ph is up and running, under settings/about ph, the firmware is still 3.33.
Any suggestions plz?

Hi,
I am not sure where you got your 3.32 firmware, but try using THIS ONE
Check the md5 checksum before flashing.
Make sure it completes.
It will say update complete.

I'm looking at reverting my Sensation from ARHD to a stock ROM just to check a few issues I'm having with a track recording app. Can I use this and still be able to flash back to the latest ARHD ROM after I have confirmed the app is faulty?

if you are S-OFF yes you can
flash first the appropriate fw for the stock rom and then flash the rom
for reverting back to ARHD ROM: just flash again the appropriate fw and then ARHD ROM
Check the md5 checksum before flashing
don't forget to rename the zip file as PG58IMG.zip

maybe you have been confused a little bit
by using a ruu.exe you are returning to the completely stock situation of your device.no need the PG58IMG.zip file
but you can flash the rooted stock ics rom after flashing the PG58IMG.zip
i hope you understood what i mean

Hi,
That does not actually display the firmware.
Rather,it shows the the base of the ROM you are using.
Have you flashed the new ROM yet?
If you want to see the actual firmware version, use fastboot command:
Code:
fastboot getvar version-main

If you look in the ROM thread, the developer should mention which Firmware you need to use. 3.32 is the most stable right now, so I would assume that you should upgrade to that and then try again.
Regarding your CID#, you can change as mentioned in Step 4 here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192300
OR
You can add your CID# to the list as mentioned in the first post in the link that stringer posted

ok I superCID the phone changed the cidnum to 111111 before and put the Firmware from 3.32.401.x & 3.32.401.10x RUU but nothing happened maybe the one I put before was same version...I installed the coredroid 4.1 sense 3.6 and the phone looks ok but it turns of frequently and after a call it power's off don't understand...maybe anyone can suggest a stable ROM because for what all that started was to preserve battery life.... so I got stuck in that maybe should I restore from a backup that I made before???

[Q] HTC Sensation XE Stock RUU

Hi guys i have a sensation XE that has been running ARHD for about three months. A couple of my apps wont download from the market as it says not compatible with our device however they worked before i rooted and changed roms.
Now the ICS official update has been released by HTC i was hoping to return to stock And carry out the official htc ics update to see if that solves the problem with the aps If any knows how i do this please get in touch? i know i need an ruu but cant find one that works.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Those are test RUU not final release 3.32.401.5 (Sensation) and 3.32.401.105 (Sensation XE).
In order to get official OTA need to revert to stock GB rom with stock recovery and original CID. S-Off or S-On doesn't matter.
For the OP: if you are on a custom ICS rom and attempt to run a GB RUU will give you error.
You need to download the right RUU and extract rom.zip out of it. Rename rom.zip to PG58IMG.zip and flash it from bootloader.
If unbranded european, it should be RUU_Pyramid_LE_HTC_Europe_1.72.401.1

instead of going back to stock, why don't you go for the latest ARHD? Or even better the Viper with sense 4.
Both roms will offer you a better experience than stock.
Don't flash the RRU if you want to lose your S-off.

Yes, listen to the good advice - make an easy S-OFF first! :good:
Find an Android Forum in your own country and search there for a theme on "S-OFF HBOOT-1.18" and read in you own language. It is pretty easy! Trust me, you are quite lucky to have HBOOT-1.18 in these days. This is the easyest way to unlock your phone.:good:

If I remember right the 1.94 ruu wasn't a full stock rom, but an update to the original 1.73 ruu.
If you want stock back for warranty work or similar just download the 1.73 ruu and install it. If you want to use the stock 1.94 then install the 1.73 and just do an ota update to 1.94.

hi, i've read several tutorials in the Sensation section on how to S-off, root, etc.
im already S-off and trying to flash to CM10. i was able to flash it but the phone keeps restarting and its unuseable. So i restored back to original for now.

can someone show me the steps to upgrade to CM10 from where my phone is currently?
