to flash the ARHD you need the 3.32 fw which is the ics one and then if you want warranty back you just need to run a RUU from your pc...there are a lot of guides out there that teach how to unroot....

When upgrading to ICS you need to update your firmware. There's a thread by mike1986 that'll help you. You can find it in developer thread.

Yes, you need a newer firmware that's running ICS correctly.
It as been updated to the latest firmware to run ICS but the lad I bought it off said then's when all the problems began. So I was thinking of trying to downgrading it back to gingerbread [stock or custom rom] to see if that would sort the problems out

Have you installed a Custom Firmware or a Stock-Rom from ICS?
What firmware has you installed yet?
it was already rooted with a custom ISC rom installed So it came straight from a stock gingerbread rom to a custom ISC rom
Hello Freddy!
Have you tried to install another custom rom or re-install the one you already have? My guess is that it's not ICS that's messing with you but rather the ROM/firmware is. My tip for a rom is Ordroid (You can find it in the developer section of the sensation forum).
I don't know how experienced you are with rooting/flashing roms etc but when you go from one ROM to the other it's recommended to format the different partions (except SD-card).
Also here is a thread about different firmwares and how to install them if you don't want to change rom and just try a different firmware to see if it gets any better
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1459767
Here you have an all-in-one thread linking to different guides and fixthreads etc as well
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1613295
How do you know if your downloading the right firmware [Unlocked UK sensation]
You can also download the latest ICS RUU. Then you will be completely stock, with the correct firmware. from there you can always try custom roms If you don't like the stock ones.
You can find the RUU's in the Pyramid Shipped Roms thread in de developers section

Hi
I decided to try and restore it to stock gingerbread rom put am not sure what rom and firmware I will need
You van download the RUU in the Shipped roms thread, If you run the RUU then everything will be installeren, firmware, radio, rom etc.
You can find the thread in the developers section. For europe you need the RUU with RUU_PYRAMID_1.50.401.2 in it's file name.

usually
go to the development section of htc sensation and look for virtuous or another ics and inside that same post, they will tell you which pyramid you can install, for your cellphone,
Flash a stock GB RUU so you will be putting the phone back to out of the box. Then start fresh reading all the tutorials available
am not sure which one i would need though
http://db.tt/1vf53aOI
This is a link for the 1.45 europe RUU. You can update it OTA to 1.50 to get the latest Gingerbread rom. Make sure you have the correct CID either HTC__001 or superCID.
If you want to flash the stock ICS rom then here's the RUU for that: http://db.tt/KLhJSmgk

CID... Is carrier identification.. It is to identify which model is linked to which carrier or whether it is unbranded.
A device with a particular cid.. Only receives update from that carrier only. (eg recently TMOBILE US ppl got ics)
If your cid is HTC__001 then your phone is Europe unbranded (not linked to any carrier) one
Now supercid is a unique cid (11111111)
That lifts carriers restrictions.. If you got supercid you can install official rom's (RUU) of any carrier and any country
Sent from my pyramid.. Through blazing fast sonic waves
Its unlocked to work with any network Is the supercid part of the rooting process

then you need a 3.32 firmware for ICS...go here and get whatever 3.32 you want, all will work after you super CID.

Check the Software version in About phone it'll probably be either 3.32.xxx or 3.33.xxx. That is assuming a reasonably recent OTA update. That'll be the firmware that most folks will refer to as it came from an official RUU.
You could also check your baseband, I'm on 3.33 firmware which has the 11.76A.xxxx baseband. IIRC 3.32 has 11.69.xxxx.
I just want to downgrade from 3.33 to 3.32 because it is causing me touchscreen issues.
When i try to install 3.32 RUU i get the error "Wrong Bootloader Version"
My present RUU is 3.33.401.6 Radio_11.76A.3504.00U_11.24A.3504.31
My HBOOT Version is 1.27
My device is all STOCK and unrooted

Hi, I have rooted s-off Hboot 1.27.1100 Sensation 3.6 ARHD 6.7.2 FW3.33 but i want to go back to ARHD 6.6.7 because i feel it was working better for me.
I want to also downgrade the firmware to 3.32 so i can flash the RAM+SD Hack Sense 3.6 3.32.zip because it made such a huge difference!
and this flash doesn't work on 3.33, it just makes the ph boot-loop.
I've tried manually editing that hack for 3.33 following these instructions (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1699591) with build.prop edit, uploading services.jar and then i got stuck at editing init.qcom.post_boot.sh
I just couldn't quite understand where to add the additional lines so i'm happy to just go back to what worked.
I haven't been able to find some clear instructions on downgrading this firmware but after searching it seemed all i needed was s-off and to just flash the 3.32 firmware.
So far i've superwiped, flashed 3.32 firmware and flashed ARHD 6.6.7 but once the ph is up and running, under settings/about ph, the firmware is still 3.33.
Any suggestions plz?

Hi,
I am not sure where you got your 3.32 firmware, but try using THIS ONE
Check the md5 checksum before flashing.
Make sure it completes.
It will say update complete.
I'm looking at reverting my Sensation from ARHD to a stock ROM just to check a few issues I'm having with a track recording app. Can I use this and still be able to flash back to the latest ARHD ROM after I have confirmed the app is faulty?

if you are S-OFF yes you can
flash first the appropriate fw for the stock rom and then flash the rom
for reverting back to ARHD ROM: just flash again the appropriate fw and then ARHD ROM
Check the md5 checksum before flashing
don't forget to rename the zip file as PG58IMG.zip

by using a ruu.exe you are returning to the completely stock situation of your device.no need the PG58IMG.zip file

Rather,it shows the the base of the ROM you are using.

its best that you dont update with the official RUU because it changes your bootloader. If you dont want S-OFF, read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1525100 or if you want be S-OFF (best choice): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1318919.
If you want be S-OFF update your HBOOT with one of this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1679338 or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1236890
And finally you can flash a custom rom in my opinion the best are Fallout (sense 4A), Virtuous (full sense 4) and ICE DS (sense 3.6). All of this roms are android 4 (Ice Cream Sandwich). I hope that i will explain well.
Happy flashing!!!!

If you want official RUU, read this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1858508 but is better a custom ICS ROM because you can overclocking and undervolting with amida's kernel and get more optimizations and tweaks. :good:
