A701 problem: unstoppable looping in Acer logo - Acer Iconia A700 and A510

Hi all, i need help.
My friend just buy a Iconia Tab A701. But after few minute playing, hang n restart, then continually looping in the startup process, cannot use at all!
I had try flash 2 different rom, sometime can normal get into system, but when turn off tab, start again, unstoppable looping in Acer logo.
I google n cannot find other rom for A701, n also cannot find the solution.
Should i send it back to Acer center for repair?

Yes. You should send it to the Acer Repair Centre. You said you flashed another ROM. If the default ROM is available, flash that one and send it back. If not, let's hope they don't find out. They probably don't, and if they do, just tell them that you were trying to fix it.

please help me guys, my dad will gonna .. ugh.. if he will find out what happens ((
im so stupid.. ugh.
I really shouldn't bother posting here because I answered this question a billion times..
It's dead, return it to the store and beg for a new one.
Your phone wasn't listed in ROM manager so you used an other flash which wasn't build for your phone, because of that it failed to boot and now it's unusable, very maybe you are able to restore it with Odin but I have no experience with that.
i have the same case as you , and send to repair center, it claims that my mother board spoil , and it change new one for me
Its happend to me ...
i send hem for repair...
go to private store and they fix yoy that..

[Q] Sumixe 7inch tablet

Hi all,
I have started this thread after not being able to find any information besides specs on my Sumixe 7inch tablet running 2.1 eclair on it.
I purchased the device from Chinavision (big mistake) and havent been able to get any info out of them regarding firmware.
In the insturction manual provided it shows you how to update the device, But because it was translated into very poor english it is like reading in brail (imposible if you don't know what your looking at). I tryed to follow there procedure to update my device. But this was unsuccesfull.
I then contacted chinavision to get the manufacturs details but they cannot provide me with them.
So i need some help trying to recover a bricked tablet.
First off all where can i get drivers for FWDN for a telechips 8900 arm 11 procersor?
Second can someone dump a copy of there original firmware online for me.
Third. Does anyone know how to get into get into recovery mode on this device after new firmware was installed.
The reason why i want this info is because chinavision want me to pay for shipment back to china which i think is rediculas as it was there crap translation that caused my device to brick.
I would also like to ask the devs to make this thread sticky as there is no info on the net regarding this device that can help. And i know that someone on XDA has a solution
Thanks in advance
Gazlufc
i came across this tablet on digg, and then wanted to find out more about this tablet and looked on google..i dont know much about it but i found a page where you can get some manufacturer details
http://www.eriktronica.com/sumixe-7-inch-android-tablet-with-wifi-and-camera..html
scroll down a little
about firmware you can try to manually flash same firmware you had before bricking.. or try(if there is such a way) to go to recovery mode factory reset it.
dont you have some sort of warranty?? to send it back or go to a service or something?
i hope this is useful for you, good luck with your tablet!

Hye pforlin,
Because i orderd my tablet from chinavision they want me to send it back. the cost of sending it back from the netherlands is 20% of the sale value. so not really worth it. I have tryed to do a factory reset, and tryed to get in to recovery mode but havent been succesfull.
I hope i can find someone who has had the same issue to try and get it resolved.
Thanks for your info and ill keep posting to let you know the update

I still cant fix it. No matter what I try I cant get it to show up with RKDevelopTool_v1.37 ,RKBatchTool, or withRK3xxx firmware tools. On the computer it will show android adb device pluged in at the control panel. But the programs will not show a device. i am screwed. I need a firmware to flash from sdcard in stock android recovery. But the AOC q70s15 is not on the AOC website.

Ok. It is not fixed. I can not turn off the tablet. If I do it will not turn back on. I have to put it back in to Mask Mode and reflash. It will not keep it. Anyone has any help or suggestions?
Strange ... it's not that old. I looked it up out of curiosity and it was being reviewed as something 'new' at the very end of 2013.
You mentioned not seeing a download (of any kind) for your tablet on the AOC web site, but you didn't mention whether or not you've phoned the company's '800' number, or if you've spoken with one of their service technicians.
Did you come across this page, headed Centros de Servicio, for Chile?
For some reason, the "Q-series" does not show on their web site, but perhaps if you can get to speak with a technician, you could explain your problem?

I have emailed Aoc 3 times asking for help and never received an answer. As for calling the number... No I haven't. I would have take the tablet back to the store but my wife bought it and lost the receipt.

Looking at the linked page, in addition to the company's '800' number, there are 13 AOC service centers in Chile, each with its own phone number and each with at least one technician? You don't need a warranty repair, just someone to tell you where to get flashing instructions.
If no luck in Chile, try contacting AOC in another country, where they may have better support for the 'Q series' of tablets.
AOC (Admiral Overseas Corporation International) isn't a 'shoestring operation'. The company dates back to its 1934 founding, in the US. Keep on trying, don't give up so easily.
I have also emailed AOC USA
Someone named 'Patricio' has a kernel for your tablet. You didn't say you needed that, but if they are working with your tablet at that level of complexity, this might be a source to find out why your ROM won't 'stick' after flashing.
There's also someone else, from Chile, working with your tablet's firmware. He also should know how to make your ROM flash 'stick'.
This may or may not apply to AOC tablets, but with the non-branded phone imports, it has been known for a manufacturer to keep the same model name but make hardware changes on later production runs. If you get an expert's flashing instructions and it still doesn't work, then look for internal identification numbers and see if that matches with the ROM's source.
As you may know, that match has to be 100% or the firmware won't work after flashing.
Yes Patricio has shared the stock images with me but when I tried to flash it it said that I need a rk3188loader.bin. I tried with a rk3188loader.bin from a ROM from Oma´s Pipo U8. It wouldn't go past the AOC Splash screen. So I flashed Oma´s Pipo U8 but it will not stay if I turn off the tablet. I don't know much about rk3xxx. I use too Samsung android. They are way different. The way the Roms are built and the way they flash.
???
I guess I need the rk3188loader for the stock ROM.
Does anyone know anything about flashing rockchip devices? Do I need a different rk3188loader.bin? Are they the same for all? I am trying to understand this.
Patricio gave me a different parameter.img than came in the KitKat ROM and I haven't installed any of the apps that came in the ROM. I don't know which one it is but I can reboot the phone or turn it off and it turns back on. I think it was me deleting the apps I don't use in the system like google+ mxplayer ( because I use mxplayer pro) but it works ? thanks to everyone for the help.

:good: luck to us all i love my rca voyager and now she is a shell dont break you kitkats ppl lol
saddly the only real answer i can give you is contact RCA repair and try to get a replacement in the mail free of charge and just say it suddenly died or firmware update or some crap
2-4 weeks youll get a replacement and return label to mail in defective device
one you log into your gmail everything will redownload
it kinda sucks but so far this is the only solution until we can either extract rom from device which is proving difficult or RCA releases the Rom for Flashing
you said it best when my tablet halfbricked i hard bricked it playingwith spflashtool

How unsupported is it though? I have a bootloop problem after I modified build.prop not even thinking it would cause a problem THIS serious (totally unrecoverable it seems). Was thinking maybe I could try dumping my system.img if I could get it working, mount it and replace/fix permissions on it and reflash... would this be possible? Or am I missing something obvious. I tried ADB on the constant RCA screen, and ofc, recovery only offers the ADB sideload.
The only way to repair or replace firmware is to get the tablet into fastboot mode.

I was finally able to get into recovery by plugging in usb. When it turns on press reset wait and when it turns on 2nd time press reset again. When you see the battery logo press volume up and power. when you see the rca logo let go of power. It should go into recovery. Also make sure you have at least 50% battery. Hope this helps.
Does anyone have the RCT6773W22 original stock ROM? I need to flash my RCA tablet, and I've been trying to put the

[Q] Cube Talk 7x u51gt-c8 brick after update

After official firmware update V1.06 (that has failed to update), the tablet doesn't work anymore.
There comes an error message: 'No command' and factory reset won't work.
How can I get my tablet in the state that he boots normally again?
*bump*
It's a urgent matter.
Should i buy the same one again under warranty? (because to send it back and wait is nothing for me) or are there methods to recovery it back to normal state?
Hay.
I have same problem, after OTA update somthing went wrong.
And my tablet saying "no command".
I don't know if other Cube users like you have the same problem with this tablet, because there is a chance that there is an defective/faulty stock with this problem.
I've contacted Cube and also the shop where i have bought the tablet about the problem. I think that is the only solution.
Hope we can get some solution to this problem.
Yes, I hope also.
Only solution i find thats working to put back stock rom.
And my tablet is live again
That is not something simple unfortunately.
I get answer later this week, so I'm curious.
Still in contact with the shop, I hope that there will be an solution soon.
Im afreid that you must put fresh rom.
This update is broken.
That is only possible if your computer has the connection with the tablet, otherwise that will not work.
My guess is, is that the update has wiped out the android files, so that there are no files to update.
Not exactly the same problem, but can't install update... It says: prob with build prop. I didn't change anything in it!
I tried twice, and the 1st time I had difficulty to reboot: I had to push on/off button during a log time to turn it off. After that the tablet started.
What kind of update manufactured Cube ?!
'The tablet can be refund or resend within a month if it has any quality problem. We have one year warranty for tablet repairment if your tablet has quality problem, but the damage by factitious factors is not included.'
That is their answer.
I thought on buying a new one, but I don't want to take the risk that this will happen again.
The alternative is not to update.
I don't know how the other cube tablets react on this update., but it seems fine on other models.
Here is the latest update for your tablets. I dont have one myself, I have the Cube T7, but the guy does it for all of them I think http://yun.baidu.com/share/home?uk=288410357#category/type=0

have anyone manage to download the updates from the site and care to share?
