CyanogenMod 10 Flashing a 4.0.3 ROM - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

I've been using CyanogenMod 10 for a couple weeks now, still having some issues. One being not having LTE... I saw h8rift said to flash a 4.0.3 ROM before CM but don't see where I can find one to flash. If someone could guide me in the right direction I would appreciate it!

Hmm, I'm in the same boat mate, want to flash the latest nightly, but if I'd like to flash 4.0.3 first...

its not needed anymore. You can flash straight to nightly and lte should work

Yup, with latest nightly you shouldn't need to. I've tested flashing 4.0.4 -> CM10 myself and LTE worked ok. Make sure to do full wipe.

Doh! I need to remove that from my FAQs.

Official Rogers ICS upgrade to Skyrocket has arrived - I just got it!

This morning I plugged my phone into Kies and was informed a firmware upgrade was available. I proceeded with the upgrade and how have ice cream sandwich on my phone. I have taken some pictures, which I will try to attach.
Here are a couple of pictures to prove it.

sorry if this is wrong but, how do we root this.
Just took the update too
Edit: I believe this is how to root ICS
Just flash cwm or twrp and then install superuser.zip to root.

Make sure you have the latest superuser.zip and you have to flash it a few times.
I am in Kies and my current firmware is PDA:KJ7/PHONE:LE2/CSC:KJ7 (RWC) and if I click on Firmware Upgrade and Initialization I get a message saying SGH-I727R does not support initializing.
Am I doing something wrong? Can you get the update from Kies if your phone is root?
Thanks.
What is the build date of this Rogers ICS update?
If I'm on a ROM can I just go ahead and update via keis? Or so I have to reinstall an official build first?
Really not sure I want to revert back to TouchWiz from SKY ICS though, any comments on the Rogers build?
could someone grab the radio from this and make cwm flashable please ?

Can someone be kind enough to take a nandroid backup of the new ROM and post it? Can seem to be able to get the update from Kies. Also it would be good for dev to have a nandroid backup so they can start mod

[Q] ICS to Jellybean

Im trying to update my TF300T to a jellybean rom and im a bit confused. im currently an AOSP ICS rom from when i first rooted this tablet but since i havent messed with it since them im a bit lost. i updated TWRP to the latest ics one and i tried installing Paranoid android and it just bootlooped. Luckily i backuped my rom. So can anyone point me in the right direction please? any help would be appreciated
First of all, since you're apparently both unlocked and still on the ICS bootloader, take some time to go through the NVFlash process here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1894867
That will come in handy if you accidentally flash the wrong recovery later on (or do anything else that could brick your tablet). I'm sure you've seen the many "I bricked my TF300T" threads, so do yourself a favor, and do the NVFlash backup.
Now, once you've gotten the NVFlash out of the way (it's extremely important that you do the NVFlash backups first, because you can't go back and do them later), we can upgrade you to Jellybean. The easiest way, IMO, is to boot your tablet into fastboot, and flash the stock ASUS firmware (specifically, the first version of 10.x) that way. If you search the forum for "fastboot stock firmware", you should find at least a couple good guides on how to do that.
Once you're on the stock firmware, you can just update via the OTA method. Download the firmware you need (I suggest doing this incrementally, so get each individual update), unzip it, and put the resulting zip file on the root of either your external SD card or the internal storage (doesn't matter). If the tablet doesn't notify you of an update, just reboot. When you get the update notification, accept it, and it'll flash like a normal OTA. Just do this until you're up to date.
Keep in mind, if you go up to the 10.6.x.x firmware (Android 4.2), your only AOSP option will be a mostly-but-not-completely functional CM10.1. So, you may want to stay on the newest 4.1 firmware (10.4.2.20, I believe) until all the issues are ironed out.

Alright awesome thanks that answered a bunch of my questions. And one more thing so since youre saying if I go to the latest update if be limited to just cm10, what about paranoid android rom in saw in dev section. Would that work on the 4.1 update? Or do I have to go to 4.2 to use that rom? I know it's not really a help question per she but just wanna make sure I don't waste any time lol

Almost every AOSP ROM, including the official CM10.1, requires the 4.1 bootloader. They are stable. The CM for the 4.2 bootloader is in testing stages still, but I believe that the only thing that's broken now is the camera. Regardless, stick to the 4.1 OTA for now if you want a wide selection of AOSP ROMs.

It wouldn't hurt. Also make sure you're using the newest version of fastboot.
Where can I get it? Just update the one from android SDK?

[Q] Wanna check Gapps and Paranoid Android versions match

Hi
I put my nexus 4 in an unrecoverable boot loop last week, couldn't get into bootloader OR recovery, I rooted and put Paranoid Android rom on it last month, been using it no problem until last week, wanted to install latest rom for the extra Halo features, so I factory rest phone and tried to flash it, kept failing, so I formatted partitions on phone, and tried again, flashed with latest PA rom and latest Gapps, then got the boot loop which I couldn't do anything with
getting a replacement from google this week, and want to root and rom it again, but want to double check the version I was flashing will work with each other so as not to boot loop it again
I flashed pa_grouper-3.57-06JUN2013-193501.zip and then flashed pa_gapps-full-4.2-20130719-signed.zip
Im assuming these are OK but wanted to double check just incase I should have used a different version of Gapps with this rom, as I said I flashed it a few weeks before with an earlier paranoid android rom version and Gapps version and all was fine for a few weeks until I tried to update it all
LMFAO

I rooted my friends relay a long time ago. Now he wants to update but it's saying he can't because the software is modified. I'm guessing this is because he is root. Any help on what to do? He has no clue how to do any of this and i am no longer near him

which version does he use? coz that is normal, there is no official update anymore since JB 4.1.2 , there is an inofficial rom in the other thread with JB 4.3 that he could flash
otherwise if he has older ICS and wanna update to jb 4.1.2, i dont know how to do this

yes as LitD mentioned it is the latest, and the last official. thats why ota wont work anymore.
here is 4.3
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2463661
ChameleonOS is only one option for getting Android 4.3 on the Relay. CyanogenMod's 10.2 nightlies are now running 4.3.1, ChaOS is based on CM 10.2. Just letting you know of the options out there. No one has done any other images for our phone as of yet.

RLS 16 to [Rom][d2vzw][Official][Kitkat - 4.4.2] - Gummy - Nightly's

I'm currently running Hyperdrive RLS 16 and want to know if it is possible to go to [Rom][d2vzw][Official][Kitkat - 4.4.2] - Gummy - Nightly's?
Do I just need to follow the instructions or is there more files I need to change within the phone? Basically, I want to know if it will be a simple transition.
Thank You!
:crying:
You should be just fine. Just install like any other ROMs. Don't forget to wipe Data. Make sure you update your recovery to the latest version first BEFORE FLASHING since gummy is Kitkat. This is very important.

I'm mistaken...badly. You need to be on TWRP 2.6.3.1 in order to flash any KitKat rom. That's what I'm on. KitKat roms will not flash on anything before TWRP 2.6.3.1.

Funny I had the same question..
I was going to pose the same question.. Ironically I'm on Hyperdrive RLS 16 also and am either going to the last carbon nightly or maybe something 4.4 ?
My question was do I need to flash the MF1 firmware, but I guess not ?
I loved carbon when I used it before ( last was v 1.7 stable ) but had to flash to stock/TW base to flash my phone to PagePlus and TW is waaaay to clunky for me I can't stand it anymore !!
Edit: Would the new PhilZ work for a KitKat rom ? the new official one ?

Clean flashing is recommended if you don't want to have any issues.
But you're free to dirty flash over an existing nightly if you don't want to clean flash. However, any issues you get are your own issues and should not be reported in the Gummy thread.

Thats what i thought but wasn't %100 sure because mine is VRLHE. Should i flash it anyway to M1 modem only will i get better speeds and is the radio better. Eventually im going to flash 4.3 or 4.4 just waiting for a daily driver.
