A while ago i rooted my phone and put a custom rom on it, liked it the got sick of it then flashed back to stock . a day or two later i instantly regretted this decision so i reverted back. This was a very drawn out process because my phone was being dumb etc, i initially tried to flash TWRP on it which worked , but it never flashed roms correctly for me , so i flashed CWM on it and that worked. flashed a rom , and it worked. I now want to flash a new rom but when i boot to recovery , TWRP is still there but when i am in Rom manager, it says CWM 6.0.3.1 is installed.
Is there a way to use odin to flash this back to stock and just flash CWM on the so i can get on with my life and flash new roms?
TL;DR
there are 2 recoveries (TWRP and CWM)
TWRP is accessible but doesn't work
need access to CWM
is there odin or a type of software i can use to solve this ?
I know i ****ed up pretty good, any help would be greatly appreciated!
Download GooManager from the Playstore. Then from GooManager run OpenRecoveryScript which will flash the latest TWRP.

I'm pretty sure that GooManager will install only TWRP. I would start there to fix your problem, since GooManager will install the recovery easily. Once you have TWRP you can switch by installing CWM if you'd like. For that, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2305721
So I flashed a new ROM and when I tried to access recovery so I could factory reset + add gapps it keeps bootlooping back into the ROM
I checked ROM Manager and it said that I had TWRP and CWM installed, so I tried to flash a new version of CWM over but it did not solve the problem.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks in advance!

Next, are you rooted? If so please install a working recovery (not using ROM Manager)
I'd suggest using Goo Manager to install TWRP.
yep I'm rooted and trying to install recovery through goo manager now, hopefully it will work
EDIT: I tried installing recovery through goo.im and pushing it using adb
it still thinks 2 recoveries are insatlled
So I'm stuck on TWRP 2.5 and GooManager won't download the latest 2.6.3.1. It literally says "Your download is starting..." and it'll just sit there. A lot of people have made the same complaints on the Play Store reviews, etc. Anyways, I'd like the newest Recovery in order to flash Carbon ROM based on 4.3.
What's the easiest way to install the latest CWM Touch recovery? Someone mentioned using Flashify? Also, do I need to do anything in preparation of switching from TWRP to CWM Touch?

If you want, you could use Flashify to flash the TWRP 2.6.3.1 img file. Just download it to your phone where it says "select the latest img file."
If you still want to switch to CWM touch, well you don't need anything except the proper img file and flash it via Flashify. Your nandroid backups are incompatible so you can not use TWRP backups in CWM or vice versa.
I installed a custom recovery through the WUG method before someone directed me to the GooManager method which seems a lot easier. They both install the same custom recovery (TWRP). In the app it asks if i want to install a custom recovery so does that mean if i install the TWRP again I'll be able to use GooManager for finding roms and nothing will break, can i download the roms from GooManager and just flash it from there using my already installed recovery (without installing the same recovery from GooManager), or should i just go the long way and install through the quickboot method?
It doesn't matter. Once you have recovery, you have recovery. It's a partition on your device that doesn't care where it comes from.

Like pirateghost said it doesn't matter. But I wouldn't use goomanager to flash roms. Download then from xda and flash them in twrp. Goo manager can be a brick waiting to happen if you're not careful.
Use xda not goo. This is personal opinion I am leery of it and do not trust it entirely to modify my phone.

1) Ditch the toolkit, save a kitten. Use fastboot to install a custom recovery.
2) Ditch GooManager, it's too unreliable to use to mod your OS. Download custom ROMs and kernels from XDA.
After viewing threads of what the ROM manager app had done to some people's phone I would follow Birch's advice.
I've had this tablet for years and my daughter has been using it, but was having issues, so I tried to install slim rom 9.15, the installation was aborted and now my tab will only reboot into recovery. I'm not able to see my tablet using odin, so I'm at a loss.
You should use twrp recovery. CWM is completely out of date and likely to cause problems.
Download and install the latest twrp. You can do that directly through cwm using the flashable zip version. Then install whatever rom you want.
